Pretty close to being done with 7-11In this day and age the one thing we as consumers are not lacking is options. What there is a shortage of however are honest companies, businesses and owners that actually care about the two most important things that are responsible for the fate of any business. As these two components can always be found in every successful venture. Customers and image of brand/name. The problem with 7-11 is they have just gotten too big, too wide spread with too many individuals trying to make a buck that they have absolutely 0 ability to make sure the integrity of the “brand” is being protected. So what starts happening is you get situations where a lifelong customer reaches out to corporate regarding something small like being overcharged on refills and corporate assuring this customer that the store will be made aware and that the prices set by corporate will be honored (bless their hearts they actually think they have any real authority) and offer a most sincere apology. Only in reality what happens is owner has taken a sharpie and crossed out the corresponding Oz and price. So now they can’t be accused of false advertising. Unfortunately it has made corporate 7-11 out to be liars. So as a result of this ongoing situation over the last year and however many emails (and lets face it, their rewards program is average at best) I will no longer be a loyal customer of 7-11. In fact, unless there is no other option, 7-11 will never get another penny from me..Version: 3.5.1

3rd shift asst managerI work at the one in front of the new jeep and dodge dealership in Spartanburg, South Carolina and my manager, which is a third shift assistant manager taught me just about everything I know, except for what I’ve had to learn on my own. She is one of the best people in person I’ve ever worked with if there could be more people like her in management a lot of these places would have more employees. App discountingTo whom it may concern On multiple occasions, I have entered different locations without having my cell phone to be able to use discounting that is applied. I am aware that entering my phone number at the point of sale should apply the same discounts because my phone number is tied into my apps of reward. Unfortunately, this is not the case for pumping gas, or receiving discounts on items, such as beverages from the fountain, although the modest $.30 difference( large beverage drink in this example) most people would scoff at for me, it is the principle of the advertisement that coincides with the use of the app. I was told on more than one occasion that it was the computers. Obviously, I am not blaming the rep/cashier at the point of sale. However, once the difference has been acknowledged that the discount did not apply, I do think that the right thing to do is to correct the error at the point of sale, instead of overcharging, shrugging your shoulders and asking if i wanted to continue with transactions. I hope this message falls on the correct set of ears and it is used for education and possibly correcting the computer errors so reps don’t have to give a customer A DUMB look and not be able to problem solve..Version: 3.9.370

3400 points disappeared after update!!!This evening I saw on my 7-Eleven app that I had ~3400 reward points, so I planned to use 1000 points to purchase a Big Gulp drink at the closest store on my route home. I stopped in and filled my cup with my favorite diet soda then went to the app to redeem the “1000 points for a Free Big Gulp” offer before going to the cashier. But all I got was an “invalid” error message. I closed the app, logged in, and tried again with the same result. The app didn’t mention needing an update, but I went to the iOS App Store anyway, and it indicated the 7-Eleven app DID need an update. A couple minutes later, I opened the app, logged in, and was shocked to see I had ZERO POINTS! I clicked on “Missing points?” and it said “you may have multiple accounts. Search here with email address or phone number.” I did, but I knew I only had one account. Granted, a $.79 drink doesn’t sound like too much to pay, but the Covid Pandemic has wrecked my two businesses, and I’m emptying piggy banks to pay bills. I rarely drink sodas, because that is a luxury when funds are tight, so I have appreciated this loyalty Rewards app to get an occasional soda. If nothing else, please create an alert on your app when it needs to be updated. But I still don’t know why my 3400 points disappeared!! TerribleI put money in the wallet for gas since I have a store right across the street. Worked great at first but over the past couple of months I’ve had nothing but issues. At first it was just annoying little things like having to force close the app to get it to finally pull up the store location I was at so I could pay for my gas. Tonight was definitely the worst. I tried to pay using the wallet at the pump and it would either allow me to pick pay with wallet and then go right back to trying to use Apple Pay or it would simply say “get started” like I’d never used the wallet before. Even tried going into the store to have them ring up the gas then pay with wallet and it just spun every time the two different associates tried. I have over $50 in the wallet that I can’t even use now. I’ll definitely be calling and getting a refund or disputing the adding of funds with my bank..Version: 3.9.10

Very useful appI love that the promotions on this app allow you to earn points without making a purchase, and that the app is easy to use in store and can be updated immediately. It’s important to me that the rewards app be available in the future, so I would prefer if referral reward points be given when you refer someone and they make a verified purchase. I know most people but all of their stuff at full price and many people just aren’t willing to download apps on their phone. One thing that bothers me is that once you verify your age, the pop up telling you to verify your age doesn’t go away. It makes me worry that my age isn’t verified, but when I click on it, it turns out that yes, in fact, my age is verified. I also dislike that 7/11 stores do not accept all cigarette coupons and that you must use digital coupons approved by 7/11. Many times I would prefer to use the paper coupons sent to me in the mail..Version: 3.6.60

The only wayThis is the only way I purchase gas unless there happens to not be one in my vicinity being that I have 2 homes. Being able to pay with your phone while you’re sitting in your car next to the pump is very convenient especially if the weather outside is inclement, you don’t have to worry about the card reader not working at the pump which happens all the time. The only reason why I didn’t give it five stars is because there are 7-Eleven that have Mobile as the gas station and you don’t obviously get the discount that you do if it’s a 7-eleven pump. To this day, I can’t figure out why they wouldn’t just only have 7-Eleven pumps but I’m sure it has to do with the fact that the 7-Eleven store was around a lot longer and therefore some of them have different gas stations associated with it. Great rewards! ThanksSo i go to 711 everyday maybe even twice a day. 7-11 clientI was extremely tired but wanted hazelnut coffee with hazelnut cream. This was the third 7-11 I visited but they had what I wanted. The bonus was a free muffin. Approaching the register, I thought I removed $3 and a bag full of change. I gave the worker the bills and change for a total of $3.06. Moving towards the exit door, the worker advised me that I overpaid by $1. I thanked him and explained I had just finished feeding the underprivileged a Thanksgiving meal and there was so much food left over so they were able to take a meal home for another time. The worker thanked me for my service to the community. I smiled and thanked him. While sitting in my vehicle before leaving the parking lot, there was a knock on my car window. 7-11 on Lyons & AppleThis is my favorite 7-11. They have the BEST ice (important to me), they have diet Dr Pepper in the fountain drinks (others don’t) and most importantly, the people who work there, specifically Janet & Sandra, are by far the kindest, most caring staff especially for regular customers and they always want to make sure the customer is happy. If the store is out of stock on something, they do their best to help find a similar item or even give an approximation of when the item will be in stock. When customers are belligerent or angry, they diffuse the situation sometimes at the risk of their own safety. It’s wonderful to see how many police officers come in to get something & are treated with such respect. But again, Janet & Sandra treat everyone with respect. They even ask me how dialysis is going for me or give me a heartfelt wish for a good treatment that day. Thank you for these wonderful people..Version: 3.9.270

No XL Coffee Cups for 2 monthsThis is by far my favorite stop because I can get off the freeway and on easily. BUT for AT LEAST 2 months and probably longer they don’t put out the Extra large cups for the coffee. Now I get that they don’t like to play ball with the 7-eleven promotions but come on 2 months no extra large cups. That’s not fair when even my most disliked 7-eleven stop offers the cups. I get coffee every day with my husband Monday-Friday & sometimes even Sundays. I like that I can have flavored and he can have regular. Which is why we just don’t brew at home. Can’t sign in if cell serviceLove this app, many times it gets me food and drink when I’m out of funds. But terrible timing has it that I’m out of money (I have a good job I just have to provide a lot), my cell was shut off even thought I thought I made arrangements for it (surely no one else’s problem just want to avoid any mean comments), and for the first time ever that I’ve had the app I was signed out of it for whatever reason. I can’t sign back in as I don’t have access to my phone number right now, and as I’ve spent the past couple of days trying downloaded apps to use for the number but with shoddy wifi thinking it was maybe that, I finally get to a point where I can log in- or so I think- just to have the new response of “please use a valid number” as the one it accepted for adding in as my cell to confirm my log in wasn’t good enough to have “on file”. I’ve called and emailed but am told I have to have both an email and a phone on file to log in. Which is good design I suppose but not for those hard up who rely on a free drink and cookies as their only meal perhaps that day. Again, not the reason this app is there, just explaining how it can take away customers if there’s a group of people who don’t particularly have a cell service but have a phone number. I hate he new app updateI love going to 7-11 however when my husband and kids and I wanted to go (which is usually every other day) we gain that 7th cup fast and since the new updated app I have gained the cups and they have sat in my wallet in the app but the app is not letting me collect them. When I get to collect something it takes my points away. I’m not sure why. I have called and emailed about this and there seems to be nothing that can be done on this issue. No one knows what the deal is I have signed out and back in as well as deleting it and downloading it again on my phone but no one knows what the problem is in this app. I am about to drive to Dallas to the corporate office and talk to someone they are only 3 hours away from me. Works Well & Save More $ with the app!I have a 7-Eleven rewards number which I use whenever I purchase snacks inside the store and whenever I pay for my fuel, but it only works at the pump to get the discount. With this app, it is so easy. I just pull up to the pump and select mobile fuel pay and I’m automatically locked into saving the lowest price in the area which is usually more than what I would get if I was just entering my phone number at the pump. Since using this app, I have saved a minimum of eight cents per gallon each time I fuel up. I love that I don’t have to go in the store and wait in line to pay, I just pay with my phone wait 20 seconds for the pump to recognize the payment and then I can fuel… Super easy and has worked for me every time! 7Now is Almost Perfect…Service and delivery were flawless. Note: It was not delivered by Instacart. Instacart drivers have figured out how to cancel an order and still receive the contract fee for that delivery. By not completing the delivery, they simply cancel it, return the items to the store, and keep the contract fee. Furthermore, it shows up as a, cancelled-attempted delivery to 7Now. By default, 7Now does not automatically process canceled order refund’s. In turn, the customer has to initiate a refund request and prove the burden was on Instacart. After that, the order is submitted for further review. If it is approved, a refund is finalized and processed. This loophole Instacart uses needs to be fixed. There is no telling how much money is being lost by customer’s and 7Now. I confirmed this by working with two 7-Eleven storefronts. Both stores quickly realized how and why orders from the past and present were and are being affected..Version: 4.2507.0

Clean me plzThe 7 11 off Ortiz & Ballard rd needs to clean out there fountain drink dispenser super super bad and also the counters are not clean either it’s gross the drink machine is all moldy where the ice comes out and full of leftover soda pop splash of different kinds of soda .. it’s just not clean and the coca-Cola doesn’t taste like Coca-Cola. It taste like seltzer water. The Mountain Dew isn’t even anything but water and the Dr Pepper taste like mold. ChristiThe guy working the night shift was very nice and even when I’ve come at night before he’s has always been great. Ashu, Dogar and the guy who is the owner are all very nice and have great customer service. The only person that works here who doesn’t have good customer service is a female. At least she doesn’t work here all the time. She doesn’t smile, say hi or if a customer says “hi” she doesn’t say it back and when you hand her cash for your purchase she slides the change on the counter and doesn’t place it in her hand. On my last visit here, she was yelling at an employee while he was helping me. This is the best 7-11 that I’ve ever been to and overall has the best customer service, employees and fresh food and ice tea. I love coming to this 7-11. FoodMe and another customer was told that the “bean and cheese “. Taco special for the Weekend May3-5 was only good during the morning. One of the girls in the deli even rang it up to show that it was regular price “2/4.00 in the afternoon. So one guy who has ordered several left with none. Even one of the clerk cashiering didn’t know the special was all day. One of the women has to come out and tell them the special was all day 2/2.00. ( bean and cheese tacos. Thank god for the other woman working there and she knew. I don’t think the girls did it it on purpose I just think that even the specials aren’t explained to them properly. I still like this store though everyone is nice and I think they try to do things right. Out of CoffeeThey r always out of coffee during the morning rush hours. There is a promotion going for coffee, which means there should be around the clock monitoring. Every morning I go I almost all the time must wait for columbian coffee to brew, while a crew member stack shelves, which to me is not a priority during rush hours. Also the coffee station is not well manned; wet with coffee, sugar, milk etc. That too should be manned continuously. On a whole the staff is very friendly and cordial,except one guy who always seems to have an attitude. Doesn’t smile at all, and when u tell him they r out of coffee, always seems like he has an attitude. Love the app that I can scan and pay electronic. Need to pay with app to get pointsApp is okay, but the clerks are not well trained in scanning. After loosing points and thinking “hmmm… I thought this coffee would be free”, I realized that most clerks act like they are scanning you phone but are not. There is no green light / check that tells you the transaction was good. Outside of getting a paper receipt and constantly checking your transaction history, the only way to ensure you are getting credit is to pay with the app. This forces the clerk to actually do the scan. Downside to that is you will often be stuck 1-2 minutes while the clerk figure out what to do. So, app is fine, but the overall ability to use the app is poor. If they said up front “you have to pay with the app to get points” I’d be okay. At the moment it’s more work than I’m willing to invest in..Version: 3.9.350

A nice appIt could use a little more polish in the UI, and organization with the coupons and discounts. They should update info for people who travel a lot including the over seas deals. They should update ability to pre order a pizza for pickup, and seeing reviews of a particular store would be great. I appreciate the discounts and deals for Military, Students, and First Responders, that goes along way. I also appreciate the Apple Pay being present, but would like to get the apple wallet access back, especially now that it supports punch cards. Not stocked wellI love the coffee bar and the selections that are offered at 7/11. Although it’s one of my favorite places to go, the coffee bar was un stocked and things ran out... I wanted the chai tea latte but they were out, so I had no choice for a cup of regular coffee (which was not fresh). Then as I’m making my coffee the cashier tells me there isn’t any sugar available they ran out, so I’m trying my best to just make a cup of coffee as best as I can but I was just not even in the mood for my cup by the time I got in my car. I love my 7/11 stores but being stocked up and not having a good selection any time of the day/night is a bummer after I worked all day! App/7-11 doesn’t like family’sToday I decided to load up my family’s 7-11 apps with cash for my kids to have money to use at 7-11 for snacks and such and ran into a rather annoying issue. Loaded up my personal account with gas money for the week from my debt card after picking up my son loaded his up with snack money from my card and after daughter got out of school went to load up her account with snack money from my card and 7-11 flagged her account for sus activity to the point where I had to go get cash and visit a store to load her account.
