We travel from northern to southern Oregon a few times a year. Especially during the winter months (which seem to last 9 months of the year), this can be stressful. Checking the cameras has always been a routine, but an extremely annoying routine. Digging through tripcheck cameras to find the right one, and avoiding ads and false websites is daunting. Not anymore, though. Now I have all the cameras I need, already displayed. It has made the entire process 100x easier and almost enjoyable. Thanks for such a convenient app. Will recommend this to anyone else that also drives the Oregon highways.
This app lets you pick the traffic cameras along your regular route and quickly check what’s happening. You can create camera groups that collect the same information available on state and local transportation agency websites individually , but here they are all collected to easily swipe through. Refresh the cameras along your route all at once without having to pick each one individually to update.
This app is a lot better for viewing the cams than the Trip Check Web Site. I have been looking for an app like this. Great job! In the future, perhaps adding features such as the odot weather stations, travel times, and current VMS Sign messages would be very helpful. Then have a feature in this app to group together certain objects (cams, weather data, travel times, and VMS data).
This app is great for keeping track on your commute to your destination especially during the winter months because right now it’s snowing hard and it’s causing a lot of problems getting to your destinations but using the app you can see if the roads are closed and if delays are expected which makes it easier to plan ahead.
I absolutely love this app! I go to college in southern oregon and often travel to visit my family, so this app makes checking the route before my trip so much easier. I absolutely recommend it if you are frequently traveling and need to check the passes in a simple and easy fashion.

Fantastic app that makes it super convenient for truck drivers who need to check road conditions and check for chain law quickly! It was a huge help for me last winter as it will surely be again this winter! Thank you so much for the app and keep up the awesome work!
Had previous apps that allow you to save routes of cameras to scroll through that all eventually lost support and faded into the iOS compatibility abyss. Great to have a simple camera app that allows this function again! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Love being able to group and see all cams on my route without having to click each individual camera on trip check website
If I don’t have to travel in hazardous conditions, I don’t. There are times I have to be in my office 30+ plus miles from home. I’ve used tripcheck for years. Thank you for creating the app.
Such a great app! I love being able to group cameras for common trips and quickly scroll through to check conditions before setting out. Thanks for making it so simple and ad-free!!
Being able to place cameras into different groups makes checking out my travel path super easy! Thanks for such an easy to use app!
I was told about this app. Didn’t think any app could compare to the ones I already have. This app does all states for what I can tell. It’s the only one I use.
Picking cams on frequent routes to view makes safe, informed travel so much easier than anything else out there. Thanks to the Dev!
Everything is working and the software is working great again.
Than the crappy Oregon TripCheck web site that is impossible to see Chain status on a smartphone browser.
Intuitive interface, custom camera groupings is a killer feature, and the widgets go above and beyond! Fantastic work!
I like the fact that you can see WebCams of the road and what’s going on
I love being able to personalize which camera(s) I want to use.
This little app is terrific. Lots of cameras to select, and pretty easy to make a custom set.
I like how easy this app is to use. I like being able to figure out the best route to take.
Thank you for this app…it is perfect. A must have for winter travel
This is a great app for winter travel in Southern Oregon. I love how you can add specific cameras. Well done!
Great app thanks
Oregon 511 Road Conditions Negative Reviews and Ratings
I-5 was closed and the app didn’t make any updates for over 8 hrs. Then the next morning, I got a notification the snow chain restrictions had been lifted and looked at the cameras to see vehicles moving. The chain restrictions were lifted at 5:19 am. It this app still showed the road closed at 7:35 am. This app is rarely reliable. I will just use it for the odot cameras and decide for myself
Will let you add cameras of your commute to look at, then next day won’t let me see any cams and has a pop up to ask you to upgrade to premium for a fee. It’s not much, but still frustrating. I found a way to go to the cctv map to find cams, but it’s very glitchy. I assumed this was run by ODOT and it is not.
Decent app with the acceptation that there is no camera map layer. You need to know the name of the camera and perform a search. Then you “build” camera lists. Very clunky. Cameras are a very valuable part of Oregon’s Tripcheck system and should be easier to access here.
I got this app, paid for the annual subscription hoping to see road conditions on a certain road a few days out. I thought it would have a 7-10 day forecast and be able to anticipate which roads would have ice, snow, etc. I don’t see that when I use the app, however :(
This app sounds good when you first download it. When you actually try to use it, you have to pay to access the Oregon DOT cameras. The app forces you to select cameras on your route, but then you have to pay to access them after the first time. No option to just look at the cameras. This makes the app useless.
While the app provides lots of info, and enough on the free side, it does not rotate the layout for tablet use.
Doesn’t even show the 5” of snow on the pass… I’ll just stick with DOT website. Thanks for taking my money
As I tried to select many known traffic cams in my area they were not shown on the map in the app.
Could only access one camera!
None of the cameras work. I’ve enabled 35. Only 2 work sometimes. The rest of them never. A real ripoff.
Look at Utah DOT for ideas on how to improve
