This is a great app for editing content on the go in a convenient and efficient way. That said, there are a few features that I think would significantly improve the experience. An automatic silence-cutting feature would be extremely helpful and save a lot of editing time. A built-in stabilizer would also be a strong addition. This may be a bug, but at times while editing, the timeline unexpectedly jumps back to the beginning, which can be a bit frustrating. I’ve also experienced occasional crashes during export, similar to issues I had with Premiere Rush, which interrupts the workflow. Despite these issues, this is still a really solid mobile editing app, and I would definitely recommend it, especially for creators who need flexibility while editing on their phone.

I’m really excited about Adobe Premiere on iPhone! It’s a game changer having real pro level editing tools on mobile, I love doing rough cuts on the go and then polishing on my computer. the integration feels smooth and powerful. but essential features are missing that would make the mobile to desktop workflow even better for rough editing 1. markers, to note spots for later, 2.clip labels/colors for quick organization, and similar tiny organization tools. These are so important when assembling on mobile before refining on desktop. One small bug: when I close the app and reopen a project, it often restarts from the beginning of the timeline instead of resuming where I left off. A quick fix for that would be huge! Overall, this app is fantastic and already my go to for mobile editing. Keep the updates coming, Adobe. can’t wait to see markers and better resume support soon! Highly recommend.

I love using Adobe premiere for all my projects, it just feels so smooth, its UI is nice and not cluttered, it has great features like captions and good transitions. The only thing holding this thing back is a chroma feature. If they ever add a chroma feature then this app is a must have, the ai background remove can make your greenscreen media look glitchy, a chroma feature would solve that. The other thing holding this app down is that you can’t copy and paste from one video to another, this would be huge if you didn’t want to look for the same media, every time you make a video. Overall, I love using premiere. It’s one of the best editors out there. 9.8/10.

This is the best accessible video editor! The speech enhance tool is absolutely incredible! I’ve did it with two test videos recorded from the native camera app and the magic is just wonderful! The only thing I wish that it could do is that whenever you enhance the speech and turn it on it always resets to its default values. I wish in the next update you could add the ability to have the enhance please set automatically saved when you close so that the next time you turn the preset on it will automatically preserve the last setting rather than resetting it to default.

I’m honestly surprised I was able to do a lot with premier especially the mobile version. There’s so many options and other factors that are excluded in this version but I hope overtime they continue to add more things, especially when I had to do certain visual effects in order to my videos, but the more I explore this app the more I’m discovering and little tricks that change everything. I cannot wait for more future updates because it’s so close to being just as good as the desktop. Thank you for Adobe for making an awesome man and making my college experience a lot more easier. Adobe Premiere is simultaneously a nightmare and a godsend but mostly a godsend. Honestly, it’s like strapping a rocket to your creative brain. The timeline feels infinite, the effects are absurdly granular, and yes, the learning curve will murder your social life but the payoff? Insane. Once you get the hang of the shortcuts and the nested sequences, you’re basically bending time and space. Clips obey you. Transitions obey you. Even color grading starts feeling like you’re painting in another dimension. And the integration with After Effects? That’s not a feature, that’s digital telepathy. Sure, it crashes sometimes but in my experience, it’s more like a nudge than a tantrum. And the flexibility? Infinite. The rendering speed? Fast enough to make you suspicious there’s some sorcery happening in the background. At the end of the day, Premiere is the one app that can make you feel like a professional editor, a mad scientist, and a procrastinating genius all at once. If creativity had a body, this would be its skeleton. Five stars, no contest.

I’ve used many different editing apps over the years, but the new mobile version of Adobe Premiere Rush really understands what editors need. As someone who has worked in television production for more than 40 years, I can honestly say this app makes the editing process easier, faster, and far less stressful. The way it allows you to quickly access files, photos, and media directly from your phone and place them onto the timeline is smooth and well thought out. It feels like this app was designed by people who truly understand video production and workflow. Putting together videos on mobile has never felt this simple and efficient. And the fact that it’s free right now makes it even more impressive.

I was thoroughly impressed by how they made all the edits incredibly simple. All menus are conveniently accessible, and the timeline is exceptionally intuitive. The options are perfectly balanced, ensuring that you don’t have to leave your timeline to perform complex tasks. Kudos to the team for delivering exactly what you would expect from a mobile editing app. I had long abandoned mobile editing, even for simple projects, but this will be my default for quick movies like birthdays. I highly recommend it!

Premiere for iPhone is a fantastic entry point into mobile video editing. The fact that the app is free to use - with optional paid generative credits - is a huge plus. Inclusion of free samples of premium features was a nice touch. I’ve loved using the generative sound effects…it’s more fun than it should be. As someone without a video editing background, I found the interface snappy and intuitive. It’s clear Adobe is building something special here, and I’m excited to see where they take it next.

As someone who can't have capcut, Adobe Premiere is an amazing alternative! You have a lot of freedom in the app, and there's even some templates you can use. Everything is mostly manual, and if you're looking for a lot of templates you can just grab and go, this might not be your app and that's fine! I would recommend a system where you can use templates that others have uploaded, like capcut. Overall, I love this app! Definitely recommend.

I can’t believe how well this app works. The new Premiere app for iPhone is incredible. What’s really amazing is that it’s the easiest app to use for editing video on the iPhone. i’ve searched and searched and bought and bought apps to make iPhone editing easy. I just want to do the simple things: append videos to one another, slice portions off of a video, that kind of thing. in every other app, I’ve tried. It’s been a mystery verging on the undoable just to do such simple things. This app is wonderful.

Any time I’ve tried to edit videos using my phone I end up so frustrated that I can’t do simple things like cutting out parts with any kind of accuracy. I didn’t have to try 100 times to trim out my mistakes using this. It’s also much less overwhelming than CapCut, which I didn’t even know where to start with. I’d love to see automatic color fixes and more transitions and effects. But overall, super excited about this.

You can't cut frame by frame: it forces the position of the cut... which doesn't work properly 99% of the time. The blurr background worked once (excessive blurr ... which you cannot decrease). It changed the color and saturation of the video by itself (you cannot just go back to the original) and don't let me star on the nightmare of the titles and or captions... which it translates to other languages with so many mistakes you literally spend triple the time correcting than you would using ANY other app. Simply: very VERY bad.

Another update…and still no keyframes. Best of luck to you Adobe. Still missing core editing standards in 2025 — 2 months, still without keyframes 1. No keyframes – can’t animate position, scale, or opacity 2. Only 6 basic transitions – no wipes, zooms, or custom effects 3. No green screen/chroma key 4. No stabilization, motion tracking, or masking 5. No speed ramping curves 6. No adjustment layers or HDR/LOG support 7. Missing standard filters: blur, vignette, grain, glitch, sharpen, LUTs, etc. 8. Weak audio tools – no EQ, reverb, or ducking Feels like a rebranded Rush, not a real mobile Premiere. CapCut (free), Inshot, VN Video Editor, LumaFusion have more to offer. Great price though if features were available. Please add essentials soon. It’s alarming that a company like Adobe would release a product like this so far behind the curve compared to other editing apps in 2025 and expect to be competitive.

Wow, we finally have a full-fledged movie editor. Having used several complete movie editors on Mac, for the first time, I can edit movies for real on iPhone. This brand new app really hits the mark. The only wishes now is that it could load assets from Lightroom and Photoshop Creative Cloud. I edit all of my photos with LR and/or PS. There is a workaround: export to iCloud or Apple photos and then ingest into Premiere. Keep up the good work, I look forward to improvements and more capabilities!

The only reason I can’t give this app 5 stars is the constant issues of creating a mask around people for green screen effects are unusable. It’ll stay at 0% all the way till export and then you’ll have an exporting issue. The app constantly has exporting issues already. User friendly forsure but these constant issues are the only reason I’m using other editors and not making this my main.

I think the app is amazing but still needs some work, I think you guys should add video affects like transitions, and I think you guys should also add a stability feature that stabilizes the video from shakiness, I also think another way to improve the app would be by adding the ability to adjust brightness, contrast and saturation and things like that, if the app had all that it would be perfect and it would definitely be my go to for video editing.

Can you try to add HDR on every single video that is exploited and not just on certain iPhone photos and videos please kind premier app and you’re also a good video manager as well and can you also add more features and put a GIF Maker as well this app is rated five stars perfect. You’re a very good ending program. Just make sure to add Kodak options and make a GIF Maker as well and add more features. I’ll see you in well I guess around seven months.

I love ability to use my iPad for editing and making short videos. This software does that. I would make one change and maybe it’s just that I don’t know how to use it yet, but I wish I could export the entire project along with the clips so that I could open it on another iPad. Right now, I can only open this program on this iPad and only this one. Other than that, I love it.

Came from PC Premiere / Davinci and this hands down takes the cake. Was going to use Lumafusion on mobile *nope* Was going to use my computer too actually, and I thought, let’s try the mobile app. Am I impressed. This isn’t 2017 anymore guys. Hop off CapCut and step up your game 👑 Can’t wait for the future of this app frl. Highly recommend, Also has Cloud features to transfer projects between PC and IPad/IPhone :)

Very good application but it really needs to improve on a lot effects, keyframe, auto captions, voice isolation alot more because this isn’t just any app this is really premiere rush so it really needs to impave on a lot more and the layout of effects cant be just 3 at the bottom many more needs to be their i have seen quite a few changed but it’s still not enough

This app is pretty good, no ads, and is advanced. So, to make this even better, add advanced color grading from Premier pro, 90 effects, unlimited camera angles in real-time and many other advanced features pretty much many advanced features from premiere pro. Better than VN video editer or Splice (make sure the app stays free when you add the features from premiere pro since premiere pro isn’t free).

Whenever I try to add music from my library, it tells me that I have to open Music and download it. All of my songs are already downloaded, so I even tried deleting and redownloading the one I want. Now it can’t even find it. It doesn’t even see the playlist that I made specifically for that song. It’s a good thing this is free, or I’d be demanding a refund.

So not trying to be mean to adobe by just joining because CapCut added pro for extraction of audio clips I wanted to find a better app and this app blew my mind. I LOVE how everything is free and it helps me so much I forgot how good it feels to just make the best content I can for free. So highly recommend getting this app very easy to understand and has great features

I honestly cannot describe how much I love using this app. It all depends on what category are you working on if you’re working on shorts mostly working short term , but if you’re working out making a long 10 minute. Videos then I do think you should do your homework before going into this. But I do wanna be wronged or changed my thoughts

Please add a custom deceleration so that you can change the deceleration wave as I want, when moving a photo or video using deceleration from the options that are offered, they are not always suitable. please, i hope you understand, if you do it, it will be the best app for editing.🙏

I love making schleich horse movies. While looking for a video editor to edit my episodes. I found this one. I loved that I could generate the same sound effects. And the video generator. But why does every single video editor have a pro version. I am not paying 11 dollars a month to add a sound affect of a horse neighing. Wouldn’t download if you don’t have professional video streaming devices to upload your videos to.

So easy to use! I’ve struggled to get the hang of other video apps - they have so many nested options and feel cluttered. Premiere was the first app that felt approachable but powerful at the same time. It’s so fast and precise. The sound effects are really cool and it does a good job cleaning up background noise on my voiceovers. Looking forward to what gets added soon.

So far so good. A nice and quick way to edit videos and comes out good. Just did one edit and it was very easy to go through editing color, light etc without any tutorials. Haven’t tried the option to export to Desktop (beta) but that in itself is an exciting addition. Look forward to playing around with it more.

The last video editor I used (on a science experiment… lucky I had newspapers as a back up) cut off the tops of my videos, taking the timestamps. Didn’t notice until it was already too late, had to run with the newspapers. Probably took down some of the credibility of the experiment. This one is running smoother. Thanks guys!

Its amazing that you can do video editing that you do with your PC through your phone. Everything is perfect but sometimes the app crash and lagging, my thought that maybe the app is still in testing. In addition, I hope you can add the cover for the video like other video editing does.

1: Video Speed. The video speed amplifier is not efficient. There is a huge jump between 5x and 100x speed, so there is almost no room for precision. A 10x and 25x option will be nice to fill that gap. 2: Transitions. We need more transition options. 3 transitions with no room to customize them doesn’t allow for uniqueness like in Adobe Premiere Rush.

Premiere is one of the best PC editing apps and it’s crazy that it’s on mobile! I’d recommend putting the clips together on premiere then doing effects and animations on alight motion as an alternative to after effects on PC. I totally recommend this app for PC level editing.

Just need more features to keep up with other editing apps, especially if they are free, it can compete with CapCut. Theres a ton of mobile editors, so you guys should take advantage of the mobile market. Just don’t sellout lol CapCut did.

At first I really liked this app. Even though it had some bugs, they were not deal breaking and could be worked around (things like sending you to the beginning of the video after you make a cut). It was very convenient to be able to edit on my phone, on the go. But now, after making multiple 10-15 minute videos on this app and getting comfortable with it, I try to export my latest video and it freezes at 16%. I try to close and reopen the app, only to find that the app can’t even load my project now. I delete all my other projects, thinking surely the app is just overwhelmed with too much, but that didn’t help. I went through my phone and made sure I had enough storage for it. Didn’t help. I tried to get support but all I could find is 1. A robot support chat (which never helps in any scenario), 2. A website by adobe that explains what the app is (doesn’t help at all) 3. A community page where you can either post your problem and hope to get a response in 3-5 business days, or hope that someone else had the same problem as you and got answered. It seems that lots of people have had this problem (export freezing) and the advice that is given is to restart your phone and to download any software updates if you have any. So I try both of these things to no avail. It’s really frustrating to put a lot of effort into a video and not be able to share it with the world. And honestly the lack of real time support, especially from a company so big, is extremely disappointing. I guess I’m just gonna have to take the loss.

As a content creator with a visual impairment, this app does have good accessibility compared to most; but it really needs to improve it's app support. When I start a project That has two files, a video and audio file that are the exact same length to the millisecond. When I start the project and splice them, the timeline was originally at zero, but the second eye layer them it automatically staggers them seven seconds apart. It puts my timeline at seven seconds and extends my video seven seconds longer because The first seven seconds of the video is all video with no audio, the and is seven seconds of audio with no video. No matter how much I delete and restart the project I have all the exact same behavior. and no matter how much I toggle the timeline to the previous edit point and it shows the timeline at zero, the second I exported the project to myself it automatically staggers them back to the original seven second delay. This is the same behavior with every single video I try, it's not just one project. Every project I start add seven seconds to it. No matter how much I delete and reinstall premier I have all the exact same behavior. There's no option to reach out directly to customer support to troubleshoot this. None of the articles or anything close to helpful, and I posted in discord in the community chat and no one has responded. And I'm also reviewing everyone else's post and nothing is anything close to helpful. So as someone with a vision loss and brain injury that this is my source of income and livelihood, I don't wanna have to basically completely put my life on hold because the software I'm using is not allowing me to create

This is about my 7th bad review on an app like this, so at this point I’m simply copy/pasting my reviews because they all struggle with one problem that hits me way harder than anyone else. I am an amateur animator and I use apps just like this one to connect animation snippets into one whole video. Anyway, sometimes, I drag out frames because I need one exact frame to remain on the screen for a certain amount of time, usually around five seconds. But this app, just like every freaking other app I’ve tried, doesn’t keep it on there for freaking 5 seconds. But only for freaking ONE. Are you freaking serious? This amazing new hobby of mine I am getting so freaking frustrated over because someone freaking thought that cutting off dragged out scenes was a GOOD idea. News flash: it’s not! Most people with filmed content don’t struggle with this but me and my animating people do, so just freaking get this dumb mistake fixed so I can enter a freaking 13 second snippet of animation without it getting translated into freaking only six seconds. I know it’s a small thing but to me it’s everything. Please fix.

In typical Adobe fashion, they deliver a product with the Premiere name and give the user none of what they need to even start a project properly. No way to set up for standard Rec 709 or 10BIT, anything HDR comes in as HDR and can’t be changed. Fluidity not there in the timeline with trackpad feels wonky. It’s basically that rush software with some extra features and a UI change. If it ever gets actually good I’ll come back and change the review. P.S maybe instead of having developers spend all this time on projects like these you should send them over to illustrator for iPad to update it because it’s pretty unusable. Also, please realize that the iPad Pro is now a multi input system. Every app you make should be setup for trackpad, pencil, and touch. It would be nice for Premier for iPad to actually be usable and good, but I just can’t understand how you could start the apps life with the most basic of features missing.

Your pushing this app hard. But it lacks so much. First off, any template has to be downloaded, there is a lack of templates, and the quality of those few templates is poor at best, if you want to compete with CapCut or other software you really need to step it up. In fact, pretty much all of your software at this point has better lower cost options to use. I have been an adobe customer for over 29 years and it is becoming pointless, although I use your products for everything because I feel obligated due to the fact I pay so much for them. I find myself looking at options that honestly have better features at very low costs. I tried to use this product but CapCut is just better in many ways for creating content on the level I have to create content at. Get with the program.

I like the features of this app, and how easy it is to use for editing. That I can’t say anything against. But I have regular issues getting it to export. It’s not every time, but often. I’ve tried adjusting the settings, deleting videos I no longer need, making sure the clips aren’t too short, and it still likes to give me trouble. It’s a toss up as to whether it will want to go beyond 11 percent most of the time. I thankfully get it to work after multiple tries, but the time loss and frustration can be annoying. I have yet to find a better app, but this issue is rather irksome, because otherwise the app is great.

Happy to see the progress of this app since its introduction, but I’m still using Premiere Rush. It still lacks must-have features that aren’t new (because they have been in Rush): speed ramping, multiple clip selection, track management (the ability to hide/mute or lock tracks), and the option to save custom title templates. Not big asks, features that have existed before and have yet to be ported over. With Rush discontinued, I haven’t upgraded my old Lightning-port iPhone yet, simply because I can’t download Rush to a new phone. In my workflow, the latest Premiere is still unusable.

This just doesn’t work well at all. I’m using it on an iPad Pro, and the blend mode is completely missing. That means if you want to add snow or rain overlays to animate an image, it simply isn’t possible. There are no stock snow videos with transparent backgrounds, and adjusting opacity either makes the entire image too dark or makes the snow disappear entirely. When you duplicate the snow stock video, there’s always a gap you can’t remove — the app won’t let you move the clips close enough to close it. If you try to overlap them, the screen flashes dark between cuts. It’s incredibly frustrating to pay for tools that perform this poorly.

I had high hopes for this app but unfortunately I didn’t get further than adding clips to my timeline. The app will not play the clips most of the time, and when it does it’s not in sync with the audio and freezes. Incredibly frustrating. My video files are big so that might be why, but CapCut has no problem with the files so I guess I’ll use that as my on-the-go video editor for now. It’s also really sad that as an adobe subscriber to Premiere Pro, they still want to charge a separate subscription fee for the mobile version of it. Pretty greedy. Let Premiere Pro payers get the full version of the mobile app (even though right now I find it useless due to the lag).

Honestly feel like Premiere Rush was a much stronger app compared to the new Premiere mobile version. Rush offered better subject tracking, smoother transitions, and far easier access to key editing tools without having to dig through menus. It struck the perfect balance between power and simplicity — ideal for creators who wanted professional-looking edits without the complexity of a full desktop setup. The newer Premiere mobile app feels stripped down and less intuitive. Some of the features that made Rush great — like quick clip adjustments, audio balancing, and motion tracking — either don’t work as well or are missing entirely.

I use rush all the time. I was so excited because yes, there was problems with rush and was hoping that this new replacement would be awesome with all the features of rush, but maybe extra things. Nope, what happened to all the transitions? Why can I not create titles that don’t just slide in or rotate (the only other option) I used to rush to create things flying in and out or pop up in the videos, and that has been completely eliminated. Such a huge disappointment. I really liked the portable of being able to create it on my phone. Still searching for a good app now.

Overall this is a huge jump from the Adobe Rush but this app will leaves user needing morning. This app offers the basic for video editing but comes up short compared to CapCut. Adobe needs to improve feature like captions; more styles and a way to edit the captions. It was also be nice to have crop. Which seems like a simple feature but I couldn’t find it to make Picture in Picture videos. So better but just okay for now.

Update: Completely deleted the app when I tried to troubleshoot it and lost all my in progress projects. The crash was too much. It also takes forever to upload. Literally loved everything about this app other than I can’t complete a project without the app crashing at least once. Tonight was the worst case crashing with every move. It just makes it harder to get more done. Other than that the app is easy to navigate and create videos and actually fun to use. I just need it to stop crashing so I can enjoy it more!

The skill level transfers well and a quick workspace for sure, but if i decided i want to finish the editing on process on my computer it is almost impossible to transfer everything. Takes a lot of google searching to get the media, but the timeline is not the same media file so it does not transfer over. That is the worst part.

Hi, I checked out Premiere and thought it would be an improvement over my other video editors, but I have one little query. Why is there no way to remove the background? Why do I have to manually add a black bar over everything? And also, why does this lack a crop option? Every other editor, free or not, has it because it is a basic feature. The upsides were I got to reverse, the downsides were the above.

Love this for video editing on the iPad! One big drawback for me is that when I try and upload videos from my Osmo Pocket, they don’t come into the app in the correct order. Not sure if this is a Premiere problem or Osmo problem. Please add a fix for this if it’s possible! It’s very time consuming to add them one at a time to keep them in the correct order they were recorded.

Found nothing in the workflow or features that makes this stand out over the hundreds of alternatives. Also you already know in 3 months they’re going to lock several key features behind a subscription.

It so much easier to edit videos on pc but why does it cost money on pc but not on mobile it dosen’t make any sense

Video is too bright during export and editing. Not worth the money. The desktop version is just as difficult, if you have an old laptop you won’t be able to sign in to Premiere. Not worth the hassle. Sucks because I used to love the first version of this app that they got rid of recently. After years of being a subscriber I’m out.

There are no keyframes, no time-based control, and no real editing fundamentals. Basic actions like scaling over time are replaced with canned “effects” that use a single intensity slider. That’s not editing, it’s template driven trimming. If you are a beginner making social clips, this MIGHT be fine. But if you are expecting anything remotely related to Premiere Pro, this app will be frustrating and misleading. Adobe should either add real editing tools or rename this app entirely. As it stands, the name sets expectations the product does not meet.

A big major thing that needs to be added is more effects, Like flashes certain amount of seconds for that effect, and like better quality enhancers but the quality otherwise is kind of good for a free app

Needs speed curves, better graphs, custom graphs, masking like in CapCut, and more transitions, also can we like customizes our transitions like in CapCut like 100 speed first keyframe and then the second keyframe is 0 you know to make edits actually make a keyframe for every like from filters to cropping like I like seeing like someone using cropping into free transitions like editing supposed to be free like no limitations but I’m like the only person that is actually using this app for edits like I mean it I couldn’t find anyone that uses this constantly other then me bye LordPenguin is my YouTube and TikTok 🙏

The timeline is completely broken in the latest update. What shows on the timeline is NOT what gets rendered. If I apply a 5x speed modifier to a clip, it renders out as like 0.5x or slower

Need to add more options for users, and generative templates too. Id outdated stuff

Compared to other mainstream options like CapCut and Videoleap, Premiere is lacking. UI is great but it lacks 60% of features found in its competitors. I’ll come back and update my rating once it’s on par. UPDATE (months later): They added keyframes. Still needs more features to be on par with competitors.

Feels odd that adobe would run this whole public beta but won’t have any reasonable ways to work on videos from project violet in the complete version of the app. Other than that the functionality is great, all I’d say is that the enhance audio could use some work or perhaps allow for tweaking to mute certain audio channels. Keyframes were a solid addition but lack in functionality. The synced audio linking to clips should’ve been a setting that you can toggle, as it automatically linking to clips and the user not being able to separate them is incredibly clunky and worse than how it functioned before when moving the clips butchers the timeline in ways that are barely intuitive

Why do I have to give permission to full access my photos? I have selected photos and videos for my social Media. Everything else on my phone is my private photos. Every other app works with selected permission just not this app. ???
