Wonderful serviceOur hotel told us about this app when we arrived in Savannah and at first I was skeptical as I never heard of it and because she said it was free, we just needed to tip. I googled it and read that it was indeed a legit service so I immediately got the app and used it several times during our stay. The drivers we super friendly and the vehicles were clean. A local who loves this app!I cannot express how much Downtowner has done for me. As someone who works downtown Savannah, and gets off very late in the evening, this service makes it very convenient and safe to make it to my destinations at night. As someone who also lives in the Hostess city and we see a lot of people who go out and drink, this service helps people make it back wherever they are safely. DowntownerI hope the word gets out about the free rides around downtown on the DOWNTOWNER. The driver I had was was great, informative, helpful and very nice. I felt as though I had called for a limousine. I was the only one on this transfer. Downside waiting for a ride takes 45 minuets. I hope that changes. A feet saver!!We had no idea this existed and we were so relieved! We are in our 50's and it allowed us to see more of Savannah than we would have been able to see! Fabulous Service!!!Thank you Aspen City Council. This is a very efficient way to get around Aspen. We have used it to get to and from the slopes and Ruby Transit Center. Delray BeachWe used this service in Delray Beach and it was the best way to get around. Since Delray has very limited parking and no valet service at restaurants along Atlantic, we found this the best way to go to and from restaurants. Excellent idea! The drivers have always been super friendly and knowledgeable about the area, and are always more than happy to take the time to help you figure out an awesome place to eat or have a drink. App works like a dream. Every once in a while there can be a long wait for a ride, but let's be serious, it's free! So if you're in some crazy rush or have a tight schedule to keep might want to pony up a few bucks to pay for an Uber, but even then you may wait a while. Best way of transportation in NewportThese guys work day and night giving free rides around Newport Beach! No way to communicate if something is lostThis is a wonderful service, and I wish my city offered the same thing. However, a friend of mine left a phone in a car and realized there is no phone number to contact anyone working for the Downtowner. We sent an email about the phone and received a reply that it was found and someone would call us at 5PM. We live 6 hours away and changed our plans to wait in Savannah, but no one ever called leaving us to drive home in the dark and in the rain. After someone finally called to ask about shipping the phone, she was extremely rude. Totally ignored and not valued in this situation. Someone only had to call. Terrible customer supportI downloaded this app mistakenly thinking this was the app my university recommended me to download. Now that I want to terminate my account and delete the app, customer service has been completely silent and my ability to terminate is being refused. I despise companies that make it difficult for customers to delete their accounts. I tried several times inputting my email and password and it keeps telling me I am unable to terminate and now have been waiting to hear back from customer support on this matter. This app is very badThe driver here mostly very chill but the service is not. The wait time is very very long. Sometimes on my phone, it jumps from 30 mins to 62 mins like ridiculously. Some drivers here have that idea that because this is the free service so they don’t have to waste their time waiting for the people.
