UpdateAlright so the app was fine so far until they had this update which messed up everything. The layout and everything is just messy but I can deal with it. But whenever i wanna edit my pfps, it keeps on crashing, won’t let me zoom in any more than before, overall terrible experience. Made me rage quit especially now that i can’t write on assignments that are even as a google doc, now i have to only use google doc, i can’t write on it anymore. Update is frustrating and far less user friendlyThe updated UI is frustrating. Marking up a submitted PDF is now a burden. Instead of being able to navigate with arrows between pages, you have to continuously two-finger slide up or down. What once was a one finger or apple pen touch is now a several two-fingered swipes. Why? After saving, you have to wait until the draft saved bar disappears before writing in the score with an apple pen. You use to be able to write the score as the bar disappeared. When writing in the score, icons keep popping up asking if you want to use the key board. That’s new and not helpful. Next, you have to exit each student before moving to the next student. Before, you didn’t have to exit the student, you could just move the the next student. Why the extra step? Then the whole overly-complicated process begins again. Please go back to the old version. Then when updating the next time, get input from teachers who actually use the product on a daily basis. We’re looking for an easy user interface and functionality. Terrible Learning programA lot of schools use Google Classroom because it’s a google app and convenient for all devices. In theory the idea of online assignments could work, but the execution isn’t there. As a user of Google Classroom I can easily identify its flaws. But the main thing that really bothers me is this:
Teacher often make assignments on Google Classroom without talking or explaining them in class. Google Classroom does give teachers a rough outline for creating assignments but most teachers don’t take the time to add actual helpful information. I have seen one to many assignments posted that literally have zero instructions. This leaves students confused but since the assignment is online, they can’t really talk to their teacher about it before it’s due. Emailing is always an option but a lot of students either feel like it annoying and not worth or feel like they can’t communicate or get clear helpful answers online. Too SlowI have perfect internet connection. But it doesn’t load. It just sits there on the screen and I’m trying to get in to do my opener assignment before it’s due in ten minutes but it never loads. I close it. I open it. I wait. My apps are all closed. I have storage. It’s probably not compatible with my phone. The computer version is way faster, even if the login process is long at least it loads. I could log into my computer and load up all my millions of tabs and it still loads. Gogle Classdoom I’d so badI come from Australia and had gotten back from a normal of boxing 13 kangaroos and getting poisoned by 3 frogs.
