Horse Racing NewbieI have never tried to bet on horses before but during this pandemic I’m trying anything now. The first big plus was the easy signup and great first deposit bonus that was very friendly for someone that only wants to put in $50. I quickly have become hooked on betting the constant stream of races that are always going on. It has a tutorial to get you started and a pretty clean interface. A few things that would make this 5 stars for me. A little more info on tutorials like for international bets and easier way to learn more about the tracks or what the importance is of things the tracks show on their broadcasts. I feel like the odds don’t always update the fastest. My biggest complaint is that the broadcast blocks information on betting on my iPad so that I can’t see anything without turning the broadcast off..General grievousVersion: 1.0.8

Horrible experienceTLDR: Fan Duel happily took my money before locking me out of my account (and deposited funds). Customer support could not give me access to the account. I tried to use Fan Duel Racing to bet on horse races while on vacation in California. When I initially set up the account, everything went fine and I was allowed to deposit money from my bank account. As soon as the transaction went through, I was logged out of my account and told that I could not access my account because sports betting is illegal in my state of residence, regardless of where I was currently geographically located. That meant I had zero access to the funds I had just put in. After several weeks of attempting to get help from very unhelpful customer support, I finally just disputed the charge through my bank, since I was unable to access the agreed upon services. Fan Duel then sent my issue to a collections agency. I ended up just paying the collections agency to avoid the whole mess, so I never got my money back..Lonnie789Version: 1.9.2

Sneaky and misleading deposit scamsI played on FanDuel racing for weeks thinking that they were a decent site with no deposit fees. No such fees are stated when you are making a deposit with a credit card or debit card and this is why I chose this site to wager on. Little did I know they were charging me $10 fees each time I made a deposit. Nobody would deposit $50 knowing that you’re going to get charged $10 extra for that deposit. After contacting customer support the representative named Antonio said that their policy is listed and sent me a link. The link the he presented me with was about a 10 minute long read that is not available to customers using the FanDuel racing app unless you really search for it. Please do not even consider using this sight after reading this. They are sneaky and unaccommodating when asked if they could rectify the situation. Inconsistent Support StaffI’d give them 0 stars if I could. I was a first time user and opened a chat with support to ask about the first time user promo, which I was told I was eligible for. A day later, my bet settles and no insurance was applied to my bet. I opened a new support chat just to find out that I didn’t apply for the promo, and the info I got from my previous chat with support days earlier was incorrect. Automatic Landscape Mode on tablets iPadThis app works fine on a mobile phone so why on a tablet is it mandatory to be in landscape mode? This makes the live feed claim to be unavailable but with that black box notification fully visible you can x it out and the feed comes through fine. I’ve had to do it a thousand times since I’ve started using this app. But in landscape mode that x is out of frame. This is lazy oversight. Why does this app have to be in landscape to work?
