Admitted to ICU via ED

Exceptional service from the time I had arrived by ambulance to the Emergency Department. A big shout out to Kelly, ED nurse for taking care of me . She was a positive light, confident, and overall caring made me feel that I was in good hands. I was moved to the ICU for my condition, angioedema, where Jackie and Priscilla, showed outstanding care and rapid responses to my needs as a patient. One last shout out to Colton, DoN, who overlooked the care of the patients via of an exemplary staff. The staff was caring , professional, and most importantly were very positive on a daily basis. That alone lifted me up and helped in a rapid recovery. I will recommend Methodist Westover Hospital as the best for care in the city of San Antonio. Thank you Methodist Hospital for an outstanding staff and will continue to use you as needed and will recommend to everyone I can. Richard Dempsey

Love this app

This app is so helpful when trying to explain test results to family members and friends. I can see those results online without having to wait for an upcoming appointment with the ordering physician. It gives me the opportunity to collect my thoughts and write down the questions I need to have answered. It is hard to ask questions if you receive those results during an office visit when you haven’t had time to properly prepare questions in advance. It is definitely a more productive use of my time and the physician’s time. In addition, I think it helps minimize the risk of misunderstanding what you’ve been told when you can see those results for yourself on the app.

Excellent Referral

I appreciate my referral to Dr Nudell recommending ‘He is the Best Gastrointerologist in the Tampa Bay Area.’ I was able to acquire an appointment with Loren Anderson, whom is Excellent! She reviewed my symptoms with detailed knowledge of my medical history reflecting her research and review before my appointment. Loren stepped out to discuss my case with Dr Nudell, then in a short time he entered with introduction and review of his diagnosis and tests to be scheduled in his office before recommended surgery that I knew I needed. Dr. Nudell is a top specialist who took time with me to discuss my options, explain what he prescribes to help me and give me total confidence in him as The Best.

One True Thing

I I have several doctors and each seems to have their own portal and very few use the portals to best advantage like sharing information if the share an zan app like Healow. So it remains a hard place to navigate information. But… My Health One is the two year summary of all my hospital, or urgent care visits. One place. Thank you very much for quieting the issues and making it easy to find dates and doctors. Also my appreciation toweekendCustomer Service Jody for walking me through the information and navigation.

I love this app so simple and easy to use. It makes keeping all my health records so organized and easy to find right here on my app! And they even have a biometric log in option which im sorta a tech geek and i myslef thought that feature was awesome sauce! As well as i can see everything i need right with a click of a button!! Thank you for having such a easy user interface and i have not had one single issue with the app i run off of ios16 and love it

So easy!!!

I have given this Application 5 stars because of how user friendly, easy to navigate and a plethora of information. If I need to contact my physician or hospital this is the easy and quickest way possible. I can see test results, medical records, past and upcoming appointments, radiology reports. I can register only for pre-op and get discharge instructions if I lose the papers I receive being discharged from my facility.

Absolutely wonderful experience!

1st visit to Medical City McKinney and would 100% recommend! I have a chronically I’ll child and the staff was phenomenal, from housekeeping, clerical, nursing and physicians we could not have had a better experience. Everyone listened and also explained the plan so very well. Hospital was also environmentally very well maintained. Great qualified staff and we will definitely come again if we ever need a hospital!

Very handy

I love that I can view my visit details, reports, and results. Did you know that you can also view some radiology and lab results as soon as they are available even while you are admitted in the hospital. You don’t need to wait till discharge. Even some inpatient provider notes are available in this app as soon as the are electronically signed by the provider.

Interesting program

I find this HealthOne app very easy and interesting to operate. I’m happy to know that I can find the results of my appointments or test in detail. I’m just learning how to use the program, however I find it to be very helpful viewing my results, still learning how to use it since I just signed up with the App. Thank you

Great App - All Your Information At Your Fingertips

This is a great app! I’ve never seen my doctors notes at any other hospital. With MyHealthONE I can read them when he post them! That is exactly as it should be. We all should have access to the details of our treatment and this app gives it to you!

Very cool

App is pretty well made. You can message you doctors, see clinical results and a number of other helpful things. The app is used by a whole network of healthcare service providers so it’s a one stop shop to see results from family doctor visits or ER visits, etc. which is soooo helpful.

Dr. Sizar is a wonderful upcoming doctor. He is a great listener and tries very hard to make you feel comfortable. He also shows respect towards your opinions. He is also handsome and clean cut. I am happy that he is my doctor. No stress when I see him. May God continues to bless him in his practice and he doesn’t let the love of money change him.

Waste of time

I thought the issue was with my provider until I read the MOST RECENT reviews. Looks like the app is the problem and not just for me. Other providers I have use Epic, which actually works. Sad. ** => Postscript, developers contacted me and resolved the issue so I’ve raised this to 4 stars. Working well now, thanks.

MyHealthONE Negative Reviews and Ratings

No answers!

Went to ER Monday at 12:30 AM with extremely high blood pressure and right sided shooting pain in the temple of area of my head.. No one at the front desk to triage incoming patients. Rang bell and was told to check in at kiosk before anyone would see me. This encompassed scanning insurance cards etc. Thank God after being seen, it was confirmed it wasn’t a stroke! The best part, I was told to see my PCP in follow up and that my labs and CT scan would be on my portal and also sent to my doctor. This was not done. I myself called their medical records the following morning to no avail. I was seen by the PCP without my records (as she didn’t receive them either even after requesting them)and had to have my blood redrawn as my blood pressure was still extremely high and the pain in my head still pulsating. This morning, still no records in my portal, but they were able to both email and text me my bill! Poor medical communication to say the least. I know now that Trailwinds will not be the ER I will go to next time I have a medical emergency. On my way for a MRI and hopefully some answers. What would happen if someone went into The Trailwinds ER with chest pain and they themselves did not realize they were having a MI….or, I was in the midst of a stroke….please check in at the kiosk before you can be seen…really!

Extremely Frustrating and Inefficient Process

I am the legal guardian of my son, yet MyHealthONE makes it nearly impossible for me to access his medical records. I first encountered this issue two years ago when I was told that, despite being his legal guardian, my 14-year-old son had to verbally consent for me to access his records. This makes no sense—he is a minor and cannot make legal medical decisions on his own, yet I’m required to get his permission to see his records? Now, two years later, the same issue has happened again. Even though I was previously given access and my name is listed on his hospital account, all of his documents have disappeared from the portal. Once again, I am being told that my son has to give verbal consent over the phone, and to make matters worse, I have to be transferred to another department that never answers the phone. This system is completely flawed and unnecessarily complicated. A parent or legal guardian should not have to jump through these ridiculous hoops just to obtain their child’s medical records—especially when they are the ones bringing them to the hospital in the first place. The policies in place need serious revision, and the lack of responsiveness from the medical records department only makes the experience even more frustrating. I hope MyHealthONE re-evaluates these policies because they create unnecessary stress for parents who are simply trying to manage their child’s healthcare.

Slow bugged filled app that we are forced to use

There is very little good things to say about this app. Unfortunately this is the forced way to communicate with my healthcare providers. Some of the bugs include clicking to load message section, while within the app, loads the open at the top to open in the app… which you are already in. This happens in a few other places. Clicking to open the app does nothing. The app often fails to load a screen leaving to you force restart in hopes it works next time. Aside from being glitchy it’s also poorly designed. For instance, I message my healthcare provider and they respond back with a question. I can’t reply to their response. I have to create a whole new message and copy/paste their question in the start of a new message. You should be able to reply to their response keeping everything in a single thread. If you don’t have to use this app… don’t.

FAILED APP!!!

The Health One App is an outright failure. It is one of the most poorly designed, clumsy, and frustrating apps I’ve ever been forced to use — and I emphasize “forced”, because there are no real alternatives when this is the platform my provider relies on. The user interface is a mess: disorganized, unintuitive, and clearly built with no regard for user experience. Features are buried in confusing menus, navigation is chaotic, and the overall design looks like it hasn’t evolved past a rough prototype. It’s not just inconvenient — it’s exhausting to use. The back-end integration is just as bad. Pages fail to load, appointment info disappears, and system errors are common. It feels like a Frankenstein’s monster of disconnected systems duct-taped together under the illusion of a functional app. Health One clearly did not consult real patients or healthcare providers when designing this — or if they did, they ignored the feedback entirely. It reeks of corporate indifference, as if users will just “deal with it” because they don’t have a choice. Healthcare is too important to be managed through an app this bad. Patients deserve better. This platform needs a total teardown and rebuild — not another half-baked update. Unless there are serious updates and a total redesign, I would not recommend this app to anyone.

Total Joke of an app

I went three times to urgent care the records of which were supposed to populate to this app. They never did. I called twice for assistance. The first time I was told they weren’t populating due to the urgent care entering my address incorrectly. I had them correct the address, but the visits still weren’t appearing. I called again and after the worker tried and failed to figure out the problem, I was told that it would be sent to tier two to see if they could figure out the problem. Next, I tried the mess engine function in the app. The first response revealed that they hadn’t bothered to read and comprehend my message. I sent another message. That time, they said I would have to call yet again before they would forward it to tier two. I had already talked to these people nearly two hours, so I’ve had enough.

Patient Test Results

I need to get Covid results for my son but it’s only showing me results for myself. The location in Dickinson told me to download the app and I should find my sons test results there. However she did not explain how to obtain those results. I tried creating an account in his name but I was unable to so I have no idea how to get his results. The app does not explain if you can add dependents or not. Now I have to drive to the Care Now location to pick up my sons Covid results in order for him to return to school. I was originally told to download the LabCorp app and the results would be downloaded there. I did and his results are still not there. I was Covid positive over a month ago and my results are still not in LapCorp. So I have now downloaded two apps and neither can give me the documentation I need.

Not Elderly Friendly

My husband and I use the same email address. Have done so for 30 years as do many of our elderly friends. We can’t set up a my health one account for both of us because we share an email address. This email address has been connected to both of our medical records for all these years. Now, only one of us can set up an account. This is ludicrous!! We don’t want two email addresses and should not be forced to do so just so we both can get our medical records. This is taking HEPA privacy to the extreme and is counter productive. For those who choose to share their email account with a spouse it should be their choice. Because I set up my health one first, my husband is unable to view his records and can not register for his upcoming appointments. Shame on My Health One!!

ACD50Version: 1.1.1
Access to medical records

Logging into patient online portal is misguided and inoperable (obsolete) to limiting patients to full access to prior and current treatments, medical records where you are unable to retrieve a patient’s medical record number that is assigned to the patient medical chart for every hospital visits. In addition to you not being able to see any treatment of care procedures that is rendered from UCLA West Valley medical facility showing crucial labs results. Whether you’re a patients setting up an online medical records to access hospital portal account or a POA caregiver advocating for a patient’s behalf, your access will be denied to the full medical records of the patient. Very disturbing to be limited to medical health records to forward over to your primary care physician for continuous follow up medical care.

Should be Better by Now

Slow, kludgy, unintuitive. Did I mention s l o w. It logged me out in the middle of making keystroke data entry. Twice. Fortunately it saved the data but I still had to log back in and navigate back to the page. Because everything is so slow to render, it took a while. It doesn’t link data entered in one place (as for example registering for a visit) with another place (for example, your profile). It’s annoying and unnecessary to have to upload photos of my insurance cards and photo ID, the name of my primary physician, and similar things when it’s already available in a different part of the app. I don’t know about anybody else, but my directive to physicians, DNR, and the like are not available on some URL online. They are available as PDFs in my computer. This app won’t allow me to upload those PDFs. It accepts only URLs. And best I can tell, it doesn’t link up with other similar apps. It’s just another data to silo. Looks like the profession has advanced from clipboard silos to electron silos. WooHoo.

NicknamelessthanthirtycharVersion: 1.1.5
Slow

The app is extremely slow when trying retrieve records. It doesn’t seem to make a difference whether you’ve recently accessed them or you haven’t accessed them for a long time. “This may take several minutes” always seems to pop up. Also, the “manage relationships/proxy” section doesn’t seem to do what it should. To me, that should allow me to manage records for my household/family. It doesn’t. I can only seem to add their demographics or insurance. That function is not helpful. That could be done at the time of visit. I need to access records via the app when we are not present at the facility.

HoughtalinVersion: 1.9.1
Painfully slow

This app is painfully slow to load lab reports, provider report, etc. it takes a minimum of 4 minutes to retrieve information. When one is seriously ill and wants to get the latest information on results of the most recent exams, it is incredibly nerve racking to have to wait so long. Upon occasion I have waited up to ten minutes for the app to return results and many times it displays an error to call a toll free number. It is odd that we are accustomed to sub-second response for information, the app displays a message that it may take several minutes to retrieve the data. Not good!! Not good at all.

SqlwizardVersion: 1.5.4
UI better than MyChart, info very lacking

Have to give credit to designers for just sticking normal UI conventions and components and not making up weird new stuff like MyChart does. That said, the actual experience of using this app is way worse than MyChart. This is not particularly integrated with HCA’s actual charting system. Many sections in the records never seem to get updated at all. The ones that do, take 5-10 minutes to populate with data AFTER a you go to a screen to view it. I have no idea what kind of wacky integration they had to do with the real charting system but having a hard time imagining what takes 5 minutes to update some text between 2 systems. This happens any time you have any new record in your chart of any type. You have to open the app, click on the section of the record that you want, put down your phone and go do something else for 5 minutes, and then come back abd check it again.

Worst Patient Portal App Ever Created

My wife is hospitalized and I need to read lab results, doctor notes, …. etc after long time of waiting the home page is loaded with an outpatient visit she had long time ago. All efforts to locate the current hospitalization activity failed. There is no phone number or email to reach technical support. All support that is offered is to talk to the patient provider’s office which translated to talking to scheduling staff, which as expected, don’t have any technical ability to assist. All they can do is giving a new link to create a new account which is not doable because there is an existing account for the same patient.

Philip@RRVersion: 1.9.1
Really???

I just need to print or send a CT report to a provider at a different hospital system, but … no. You can’t do that! How hard is it to let me do one or the other without sending pages of information that they already have, what a waste! Plus once you do find the single report can I do either? Nope! MyHealthONE has been a royal pain since my first use, as an employee talked me through the system, saying things like “That shouldn’t happen!” or “I don’t know why you can’t get that done?” until today. I have wasted my breath offering suggestions here and was even told if I wanted any of my suggestions to come to fruition I needed to get a job asCEO.

Currently incomplete app

I always appreciate info provided by medical record apps and have especially been grateful for this one while dealing with various aspects of our visits to JMS and Doctors Hospital. MYHEALTHONE can be confusing to navigate but functioned well enough until recently when doctors reports disappeared from the site. That may be a problem on the hospital side but it impacts our usage for updates to various insurance/disability agencies/ other doctors that we deal with. If the problem is on the app side, I do hope it is fixed soon.

Why so long?

Why can’t I see my lab results right away or as soon as they’re done? Now I’m going back to look again and they’re gone! I still don’t have my imaging report yet my doctor has them. I was told they’d be on the portal. Why aren’t they entered onto the portal right away? At another medical center I go to they’re entered as soon as they’re done. Here mine were done on Thursday but the results weren’t in the portal until Monday and the Calcium score still isn’t in the portal. Now the lab results that were there this morning aren’t on the portal anymore. What gives?

“Share” function on app doesn’t work

When you press “share” on the app and it tells you you can share with Dr. or download your data and you think “that’s helpful” don’t be fooled, it never works! Tells you “unable to process your request, please try again” no matter how many times you “try again”. And don’t bother replicating the issue through the app, they just tell you “due to nature of info please call a representative”. Hello! I know it’s sensitive medical info! That’s why I’m not calling someone and giving that info on phone! This is a medical app! Ever considered maybe a patient can’t speak! Fix the app

Too many updates and still the same issues.

This makes the third time in a row I’ve been directed by St David’s to go to MyHealthone app to preregister for a scheduled procedure only to be to told by popup my app is out of date. Last update lost my fingerprint log in to an account that I had never established a password for; ended up getting locked out and jumping through a lot of hoops just to get in and preregister with info that hasn’t changed. Why bother having an app if it’s going to require a download each time which by use it potentially cost me access?

Nobody from Del ValleVersion: 1.0.21
Update doesn’t work

I cannot pay my bill anymore. It’s no longer a function that works. Everything else you can tap and it links but anytime you tap that it takes me to a site that literally tells me to sign into the app that I am in already. Then I sign in again and it just keeps doing the same circle. You shouldn’t be linking out of the app to get to the things within the app only to be told to go back to the app which then makes you still put in your password again and again to get nothing. These issues did not exist prior to the forced update.

PresalejokeVersion: 1.8.0
Disappointed in this App

I’m writing this first as a frustrated family member of a frequent patient within HCA facilities, and second as a clinician familiar with HCA workflows who genuinely wants to see the organization succeed. Unfortunately, MyHealthONE is the most dysfunctional patient portal I’ve encountered. It is tightly coupled to HCA’s current EMR (Meditech), and together they create a fragmented, unintuitive experience that works against both patients and caregivers. The portal is unreliable and difficult to navigate. Messages disappear, information is hard to locate, and basic functions fail often enough to undermine confidence in the system. For patients and families, this creates unnecessary confusion and stress. For caregivers, it adds yet another layer of inefficiency to already strained workflows. More concerning is the broader ecosystem this setup requires. HCA currently relies on multiple disconnected platforms—Meditech, TeleTracking, TCIQ, call-queue management tools, and additional third-party software—where a single integrated system could replace nearly all of them. Epic already provides these capabilities within one cohesive platform. A transition to Epic would significantly improve interoperability, efficiency, and safety. Transfer centers in particular would benefit: the majority of hospital systems we interact with already use Epic, and shared EMR infrastructure would dramatically improve the speed and reliability of patient transfers. If leadership truly wants to demonstrate commitment to patient safety, caregiver wellbeing, and staff retention, this is a decision worth serious consideration. The investment would likely pay for itself through reduced turnover alone, before even accounting for workflow simplification and elimination of redundant software. Healthcare is challenging enough without technology actively working against the people delivering and receiving care. I hope this feedback is taken seriously and escalated appropriately.

I have this for my mom and even though the doctors and nurses can see the results and it's been a couple of days. Provider Reports Missing for Months

Something broke in early September 2021 making daily provider reports unavailable. While the app says this is temporary, after more than three months without a fix, it sure feels permanent! What is the hold up!? How about better managing customer expectations by telling us why this happened and when it will be fixed. It is nearly impossible these days to get doctors on the phone when you need them, so having these in-app updates for loved ones staying long in the hospital had been a godsend.

Not always “on”

When the app works it is great. When it doesn’t, It really doesn’t. Lately it’s been Doesn’t. It takes forever to load, then after it is loaded it will tell me that I have no health records or can’t find my appointments. I have deleted and re-installed 3 times. I hate this app but this is where I can sometimes, if the goods are with me, get results from bone marrow biopsies and Dr reports. I’m using 5G wireless with “all the bars”.

Really?!

I have had the app for sometime. Was working well and had no problems. All of a sudden, I could no longer see my blood work, Doctor’s visits, comments or upcoming visits. I reached out to tech support and they say I to contact my doctor if I want information about any of these things because they aren’t part of the app. But funny things is, my doctors were part of the app and my information was all there until the app updated! If the problem isn’t fixed, this app is useless to me.

Terrible app

I set up my profile and tried to register online for a mammography appointment. It wouldn’t let me in 2023 and I sent a request to help. They sent me a reply to call. Just now in 2025, I got a request to online register for a mammo appointment and again wasn’t able to find the registration. I found the same issue I asked about in 2023. I called the number for portal support , and when I clicked the number to receive help, it just repeated the menu. This is the worst portal and customer service anywhere.

MyHealthONE is a Disaster

This app is a disaster, and it should be shut down immediately. It does not work and freezes constantly. It logs out or freezes while writing messages. It doesn’t allow you to access old messages. Its disfunctional nature prevents any meaningful work from being completed. After trying to use it multiple times, I have given up and just called my medical practitioner’s office. Why is this app even available? Its quality is horrible. Who at Apple approved this app should be fired?

Account creation issues, payment issues

I’m not impressed. Account creation was difficult. Fields don’t auto populate. It would be nice to have a log in with Apple or similar option. My real complaint is with the payment. It was difficult to use the credit card form, again didn’t auto populate correctly. And when I clicked submit, it crashed and reported a system error. So did I pay or not? I’ll have to wait and see. You should add in Apple Pay to make it dead simple.

No results

I find the app very easy to use, but extremely slow in uploading results from testing & labs!! It should not take 2 weeks to upload the final results of a xray/CT scan etc…Especially when your doctor office has already received the final results within 48 hours of the test. Myself, as the patient, have the right to access my own health information. That is the purpose of the patient portal! Faster access!

Can’t view all bills or records for a patient

I like the patient portal overall, but the records are not always complete, and there is no easily accessible way to view billing activity. They issue a separate account number for each date of service so you have to hunt for each date. Additionally you can not search by account number.

Unreliable app experience

The app opens up to the dashboard but when attempting to open anything from the dashboard such as labs, appointments, letters, medications, it will not open. It just continues to load. This has been going on since I downloaded the app and that was a longtime ago. It doesn’t matter what town, WiFi, data, both. I have even deleted the app and reinstalled and nothing has changed. It’s ver frustrating. There are major bugs that need fixing.

Somewhat confusing and un-optimized

You’ll get an email saying to register for an appointment ( that you’ve already made previously ) but it doesn’t automatically connect to your account when clicking on prompts. You have to instead open the app, and it still doesn’t show correct info much of the time.

No longer works

The app was working just great and provided a lot of information up until today. I downloaded the newest version and it still isn’t working correctly. It kicks me out or says it doesn’t recognize me. Sometimes it finally logs in and the results don’t load. Just give an error message. Please fix it as it used to work just fine. Never had any issues until today. Not able to look at anything whatsoever.
