Fantastic service!After a few days in CDMX, we tired of the nonstop traffic congestion and downloaded this app. We rode Ecobici for 2 days totally liberated! The app was great, albeit a bit slow sometimes, but gave us all the information we needed including available bikes, available spots for return, location of the bike lots on a map, etc. The service was overall great - the bikes, aside from the brakes, worked well and the lot locations were conveniently and generously located. Great app & access; coverage/availability increasingThis version of the bikes is different than the last, but it’s far easier to access. You can use the app or link your metro card. It’s been out like a month and they’ve added a ton of stations in that time. ECOBICI is awesome!Really enjoyed using this app while in CDMX! It was a great way to get around and see the city thanks to the addition of so many amazing bike lanes. The app could use some additional improvements with in-app navigation on bike lanes. It was most effective to use Google Maps or Apple Maps instead of the app to navigate thanks to their play by play directions. App doesn’t work all of a suddenI ride Ecobici every day. All of a sudden the app isn’t working at all. It takes me like 10 minutes to be able to retrieve a bike. I have my location services on, I paid my phone bill. It’s pretty frustrating at the service is otherwise very good. Please redo the app or undo the update you recently did ! Good but Limited FunctionalityYou only get access to a small selection of bikes with this app, the majority of the city is on an obsolete system that is incompatible. I made the mistake of buying a full year pass, but even then I still use the app alright getting across Condesa or up and down some of Av. Insurgentes. The app & new bikes work great; it’s just a failure to not consider backwards compatibility. Do not down load this app!I was in Mexico City, rented a day pass and couldn’t get a bike because I could only purchase a red bike and every bike near by was green!
