Doesn’t scan the barcode it requires to set up chargerThe intentions of this app were good, but the execution is very poor. The barcode on the charger which the app requires is incredibly small, and so the app struggles to scan it even with one of the latest iPhones. I did succeed scanning the code after probably 20 attempts, and then the app worked fine. You can wipe yourself with the instructionsApparently the instructions for installers provide you a link to this app claiming you can set breaker settings, it’s just a ploy to get you to enter your personal information. The app doesn’t work at all, it is non functional. You can literally wipe yourself with the instructions. Total garbageI cannot possibly emphasize enough how poorly written the entire software stack is for the home flex charger. This app in particular is full of bugs. This app does not workMy installer made it as far as the QR code scan and then it was nothing but error messages from there. After the app crashed and he relaunched it, the login for the app kept giving errors.

QR code not workingQR code is nearly impossible to scan, and without it, this app is useless. Blowing it up on a second device will sometimes work but I think the main problem is poor print quality on the code.

I found the MAC address and password, then input those manually. same error message.

Installing a Home Charger? - READ THISThis app isn’t required for setting up a charge point home charger anymore. Have the owner download the normal Charge Point app that shows public charger information. There is a tab at the bottom for setting up a new home charger. It took a call to their support line to learn we were using the wrong app the whole time.
