Alarm is a self-defence/emergency alarm application with a rapid-movement and free-fall detector. You can also touch the screen to give a warning.
Not only a red screen blinking but also an alarm sound and a flash light are synchronized if the device has such functionalities.
The Apple Watch app also blinks but it's limited for a few time only to save the battery.

MehIt's cool to show people but it has minimal real functionality. It's be a terrific idea though if it was louder and worked in the background without needing to be activated every time. If it at least worked with the screen turned off. A password to deactivate it would be nice also..Version: 0
Recent update has elevated this app to a whole new HA!mazing level. They have just added a feature that let's the alarm spontaneously alert the local police department with information about your location and your personal description! Ha!mazingI have also noticed that it comes with an option that allows you to take a picture of the asaillant without even taking the phone out of your pocket, holster or wherever else you mightve put it before the attack. To make it even more Ha!mazing, it now comes pre-loaded with pepper spray that can bring the attacker down without you even lifting a finger! Case in point: I was listening to the latest news recently on nion news network when suddenly. The news made me so sad that I started ing. I put my head between my laps and wept!. All of a sudden my cellphone let out this crazy alarm! I was like holy . What the hll! I quickly turned around and noticed a man with a in his hand pointed to my ! He yelled! "your life or your money!" I quietly replied: "take my life and leave my money", because I can't imagine living without my freaqui money. Just as he was about to pull the trigger, there were everywhere. As he tried to run, I noticed splatter of pepper spray from my shirt pocket where my cellphone was. In seconds he was down, handcuffed and taken awayto jail! Thanks to this app! Without it, who knows what wouldve HA!ppened So in one word, this app is HA!mazing!.Version: 0
Update RequestI would like to see an update on this app where triggering the alarm also triggers the camera to start taking photos which are automatically uploaded to a pre-defined email address in the users email. This would be a deterrent to real crime. You could then turn the iPhone around and say, "Hey, this camera is now sending your photo to the police, with the gps coordinates of where we are right now! MAYBE you can get away if you start running NOW!" Hey, that isn't bad, hooking it into the GPS coordinates and emailing the FBI or local 911 offices is a great idea. See what you could do about that and you could reasonably charge 5 or 10 for this app and the world would be at your door. Keep the photos running until you shut it off..Version: 0
Guys seriously stop complaningThe picture of you holding the iphone of the alarm free thing is only a SUGGESTED USE when do u actually think your itouch/iphone against a mugger hmm? Uts ab overall good app. Once i left my desk to get a book from my classroom and i left my itouch on my desk. I usually get things like mechanical pencils stolen from me, i just turned on the app and placed my iphone on my desk. Then some fat kid in my class who takes stuff from everybody tries to yank my iphone abd then guess what! The alarm went off abd the teacher made him go to the office. I was wearin those sports shorts so i didnt have any pockets, this saved my iphone!.Version: 0
Useless, but...Hey, so we all agree this alarm is pretty useless right? It's true. But given it's shortcomings, it's design is pretty remarkable. 1. Look at it. It actually looks awesome as it lights up an blinks. I've already looked around here and there are not that many apps that look even this close to good. 2. It senses free fall. That's so awesome. It senses when iPhone or iPod touch is falling in mid air. We have a 1st here. So I have to give it 4 stars for ingenuity. Now, all we need it to do is have some kind of point and be of use. Saved me $200!!!!!I went out boating the other day and I happen to leave this app running until I caught a 600 pound shark in my backyard and you know what????!?? My iPhone slipped out my pocket and hit the floor bouncing towards the ocean. As it hit the floor the alarm went off and I was quick enough to catch it! My screen broke completely but who cares????? Most useful app... Saves money.All of our sales force company supplied iPhones are installed with this app. It has saved the company thousands of dollars in dropped/lost iPhones! The loss rate has dropped over 97%. We went from an annual rate of 34 iPhones lost to just one. The dropped phone alarm is a godsend! Very ingenius! Choices, choicesA choice of alarms would be nice but it's still fun to freak someone out!!! Simple and perfectI'm a diabetic and am always afraid I will go hypoglycemic which can cause an inability to articulate and the ability to perform only simple functions sluggishly.
