IPhone 7Awesome app. Awesome concise and shortened commentary. Awesome all around!!! Convenient as well. I don't have to buy the book like my parents have. They have had Matthew Commentary Books since I was a child back in the early 90s. One day I needed a break down of the scripture and I would google matthew Henry commentary and decided to see if they had an app. I'm ecstatic they do and it's something I will continue to use but it's just something about books that I love and one day I will have both lol. I love the App!!!I use this app. to better understand the history of the times of what I am reading. And I love understanding the people better. And most importantly-using this commentary, I then can apply it to my own life and ask the Lord to help me be a doer of the Word. I read a chapter of the Bible and then I go to this Matthew Henry app. I love the opportunity to look up the meaning of a word and then just go back to the to the commentary. Useful, UnderstandableI have long used MH's commentaries w/ bible studies. His insight is still keen today. This is abridged, but this is a very good version. I appreciate using it to prepare me for a chapter as well as for helping me more fully understand difficult passages. MH does not skip or gloss over any passage, he explains them all.
