Very cool, but needs an update or content expansion since it lacks detail found in even an intro anatomy course. Could you please add mores sites and structural detail, especially for the quizzes? They're ok for an intro now, but not detailed/comprehensive enough to rely on for real study! (for example, has major bones but not bone features (linea aspera, skull interior bones, etc). Since there's no other App like this, it'd be cool if they added that, even as an 'in app' purchase if necessary. On the technical side, the quizzes frequently rely on tapping very specific areas (<2mm) of the screen instead of magnifying the area, which results in an inevitable handful of 'wrong' answers despite tapping on the right structure. Cool app but needs more locations/structures and more 'zoomed'/region specific quizzes!
A really helpful app that made learning easy. Love the clear images and audio.
I've been into anatomy and I like it
This app is wonderful! I have been using this constantly to study for my A&P course. This is a great study tool when you are on the go and don't have you books. However, I do wish that there were more questions about the bones not just the general questions. Also, adding fossas and canels, and inside the skull pictures or information would be so helpful! It would push this app over the top!
Other than attributing the amazing creation of the human body to the evolutionary process rather than the Creator of all things, these apps are very helpful with studying and reviewing. I do hope that they will continue to add detail to them for the medical students wishing to use them like myself. I'm also hoping they will come out with a similar app to help with the nervous and circulatory systems. Thanks for making these available and for continuing to update them with more info in the future. I pray as I write that eyes will be opened by God to see the majestic beauty and handiwork that went into creating each aspect of the human body.

I just bought this app about a week ago to help me study the bones for my anatomy and physiology class. It is absolutely perfect for people who don't have extra time to spend in labs at school or if you just need to quiz yourself at home. It's the perfect study aid for memorization and you can't beat the price!!! I'll definitely be buying the other apps from this company for the other body systems!! I'd highly suggest buying this app to anyone looking for a quick, easy, and fun way to learn the body!! A must have!
After two hours our five year old had completely memorized the individual quizzes. The next day she started out at 72% next 85% on the full quiz and now she is doing it again. The quizzes can be broken down into categories which make for easier comprehension and retention. I never thought that I would learn the anatomy of our skeleton so quickly, thanks to this app. I never thought that I would be able to pronounce individual bones as well- which is an excellent addition to this application- the voice that pronounces the name of the bone. It's awesome to be able to name the bones with phonetical accuracy. Afterwards I contacted the developer, I assume it was the developer, with a few questions. I can't thank him enough for all the responses. Thank you again. Somehow I feel like I'm missing something, and my apologies if I have.
I'm working on my anatomy for pre-med. This app is giving me a great start and a foundation of knowledge. For one thing, starting with the skeletal system is great as is, because once you start with muscles you'll better understand where the muscles are originating and what not.. This app, with its quiz feature, helps you not only memorize the bones themselves, but also individual processes and other structures. Good way to get a good foundation of knowledge for anatomy class.
This app is amazing! I hade a test on skeletal structure today and if not for this app I would of have failed. So easy to use and easy to understand. And I can study on my spare time anywhere. Also it gives you a little challenge to beat your high score, this app is beautifully made. Wow just wow. Who ever is studying anatomy or physiology or has any sort of bio class, they need to get this app. Money well spend. Thank you so much for this app.
I just bought this app and have already taken many college classes that are necessary for a biology degree. I bought this in prep for med school and I have to say it is a wise choice. The 3D display gives the labels of different parts of the body corresponding with the section selected. A description of the selected region is present as well as other information. A must for med school prep students
This app gives the perfect amount of detail for my anatomy 1 class. It explains the bones and majority of the bony markings that I need to know. The app gives several different ways to learn from diagrams, actions, quiz, glossary, and text. Some people complained that it didn't go into great detail, which I personally liked so I could learn the basics before getting hit with the complex things.
I am taking human body this semester and being on the cadaver team means I have to learn the bones and their bone markings as quick as possible in order to teach it to other labs. The 3D images and quizzes are extremely helpful for studying when not in the lab. My only complaint is that it could be more detailed and include all bones and all the bone markings. It will do for now ;)
I downloaded all five of the apps from this company just based on the reviews and they were 100% right. These apps are awesome and really teach you a lot. Don't get me wrong, there isn't a curriculum. This is a self-teaching thing. Even if you're a little bit interested in learning the body, this will be great for you.
This app is very informative and detailed. You can view videos of structures, view 2D pictures of bones and get detailed diagrams of each area. Im using this for Anatomy in college and it is so helpful! They even have quizzes you can take that are great for practicals. I would definitely recommend this to all Anatomy and Physiology students!!!
I think this app is fantastic. You can rotate the skeleton to look at any angle, look at bones by region....well thought out. The only downside I found to this app is that you can't pick what it quizzes you on. I'm in Intro to Anatomy and Physiology and just needed to learn about 40 bones. Wish I could have picked what the quiz covered. Other than that, it's an awesome deal!
I LOVE how I am able to see, hear, and touch each bone structure! It's all 3 learning styles in 1. Can't believe how quickly I learned all the bones of the body and I just got the app a couple days ago. I am truly *amazed*! I am going to get the Muscle App as well so I can def be ahead of my class!!!!! :)) Thank u so much for this wonderful app!
Thanks real bodywork once again for another amazing and beautiful app. Lots of great info, all organized in an easy to use navigation system. The 3D explorer is very neat, especially on the new retina display. Excited to see what you come up with next!
I must say, this is much better than trying to sit in the lab for hours on end to learn. This makes it easy. I'm going to try it out a bit more to see if there are any problems--but so far, none! It's perfect for studying with at home! :) I reccomend.
I use this app as a basic study tool for my physical anthropology class! I watched the video a few times and then practice/study by listening to the video while I'm driving (great narrative voice - which really makes all the difference) . Thanks skeletal 3D.
This app has all the names of the bones, a 360 degree view, quizzes, diagrams, the works! Seriously very happy that real body work came out with this app. It's fun to use and I literally have nothing bad to say about this app. Great job and for those looking to buy, my opinion is that this is worth more than $1.99 !!!! Buy it now
If you are taking Anatomy & Physiology you must buy this app! Seriously 2.99 is nothing fir what this app offers. Very helpful, awesome graphics, and detailed! It has helped me study when I'm at work, it's very handy and friendly. I recommend it 100% worth the money!!!
This app is great! I was having a really hard time learning the bones and landmarks and this app has been endlessly beneficial! It's much better than flipping through a text book anytime I'm unsure, and its well organized and easy to us. Plus, quizzes play like games which I actually enjoy. I plan on using this beyond my muscle mod.
I'm an auditory learner to a fault and the fact that the quiz says the names of each bone out loud is absolutely what I needed. That feature allowed me to get a 100% on my skeletal system lab practical, the first time that's ever happened my professor said. Please include this feature in your other apps!
I bought this for my A&P class absolutely love it, the pronunciation is very clear.. I wish they have muscular system app .. I purchased 2apps for muscular system $3.99 & $6.99 neither of them work I contacted the customer serv. they said I can't do anything I give this app 5stars Thank you for a wonderful job
Great for practice, i like the ability to hear the bones name, see the word and press the location on the picture. if incorrect the correct location will be shown. Things to improve on... a couple of test touch screen results are questionable and I wish it would update my scores on the test,
This is an excellent app! However, wish the developers would update to include all 206 bones, as well as their corresponding fossa, tuberosity and other landmarks. But, all in all, an amazing and helpful app. Highly recommend!! Will give 5 stars when you update to include the remaining bones.
I really enjoy this app when you need a quick reference or want to review the bone structure. Also has been useful when working in the hospital to show patients how all the bones are aligned and where they hurt themselves. I would recommend to anyone!!
I love the app but when you click on the knee section. The front is labeled correct saying medial meniscus but when you spin it around it shows the medial meniscus as the lateral meniscus. Other then that app is fantastic and has helped me tremendously in my field of study.
Wow. This is a fun and knowledgable app! I just love it. I use it as a reference at work and do the quizzes at home to challenge myself. If you work in ortho I would recommend keeping this on your phone so you can check it real fast when you need to brush up.
If you are in school like me and need to learn your bones and their functions this is a great app. My only complaint is that i cant hear any sound from the video or anything. But i love how it shows the bones individually and labels them too!!
This thing is very helpful to study for an anatomy test. I love how he even has a video that breaks down some of the bone, only thing id love to see more would be to have different videos for different parts of the bones.
This app is amazing! It helps refresh and remember where the bones especially on the go. Much better than carrying books all day. I would highly recommend it!
I am pre med and this is a great refresher on anatomy, it doesn't replace a book tho but is great to review with and keep up on things in ur spare time. I would also recommend 'muscles' app from real bodyworks as well-all their apps r great.
Really great app and definitely worth it. As a biology major this is great for a review for anatomy classes. For lower level anatomy classes this would be a great study aid for learning, however for upper level classes it is a great review aid.
I'm a master's student and I'm really anal about organization and detail. With that said, I really like how this application is configured and how easy it is to use. This application is very resourceful and it makes learning quite a bit more fun!
So far this has been an amazing help studying. Its a nice change up from studying from a book and it even has voice. Well worth the money to any who wish to study the skeletal system.
I love this app! It is an enormous help! Way better than any other app, because for one thing, it actually quizzes you. It's worth every cent, and I am defiantly recommending this to friends.
This app is extremely helpful for students of anatomy! I love having it at my fingertips to study anywhere, any time!! 5 stars! Thank you for making this app!
I am really glad I found this app. It helps me for school because we are doing a medical unit. I am in 5th grade and sometimes I like to use electronically devices and do research and this app saves me time instead of doing research.
This is a beautiful app my only hope is that who ever made it is feverishly trying to fill in the very few missing bones and explode the scull and do all the ones inside. I love it and it makes me want more questions more parts to the quizzes.
Wonderful reference for anatomy class. Though this app is not in-depth, I learned the basic location of some of the important bones I should know. Recommended for quick reviewing.
This app will help me get a good grade on my test. Being able to pull it out and study the specific areas that I struggle with helps a great deal. It is convenient and accurate. I'm glad I bought it.
I have tried some of the other apps and this one so far is the best one that I have found. yes it could a little more on some of the bone structures. over all its the best one.
Fairly good - easy to use. Great for basic bones practice. With the quizzes, you have fat fingers it can be hard to press on the exact spot, and it seems to be right side biased (eg clicking on left fibula it’s not recognized in some instances). But all that matters only if you care about the score. ;)
One of my fave apps. Worth my money.
It's basic, easy to memorize, love the 3D. Thank you for the easy app!
I'm not a bio student, I just bought this app because it looked like I would be interested in it. It's really great from my perspective. It's taught me a lot, now I'm trying to memorize them XP
Extremely helpful!
Must buy for any biology or kinesiology student!
Easily understandable, great references and info =) definitely worth the money!!
Great pictures - fun way to learn.
This app is awesome !! Really helped me study for my exam
Awesome app.! Has a little more than I need but I guess that's better than not enough! Would definitely recommend !
This app helped me to memorize the skeletal system before my final exam, a great thanks to the creator, you helped me on a big part of my grade!
Skeletal Anatomy 3D Negative Reviews and Ratings
I like the app, but the sound is not working. Please rectify the issue at your earliest opportunity.
I expected to learn processes, foramen, etc based on the detailed images advertised. Just a skeleton and quizzes are simply you tapping where a bone is
I'm in anatomy class. This app has very minimal information. You will find major bone structures, but even that is incomplete. You will find random detailed bone structures. The worst part though is the inaccuracy of the quizzes. I took a bone practice quiz, cranium lateral view, and you can click ANYWHERE and it will still give you full points. So you click the incorrect structure, and it seems as though it is correct. If any of the other quizzes are the same, it could be very misleading. I don't have time to test all the quizzes for accuracy, but the second quiz I took was inaccurate, so I am upset.
I loved the layout of this app however was very disappointed after encountering anatomical flaws. For example, by choosing acetabulum, which clearly relates to the femur, the description talks about the humerus and scapula being attached to the pelvis. This obviously would be very confusing and detrimental to someone using only this as a study guide. I feel that if you embark on the project of creating an anatomy app then you should pull out all stops in making sure that is is accurate. Hopefully they fix these issues soon as I believe there could be great potential here.
I learned about this app through another anatomy app that I love, but this one is just not as good. The skull portion is completely useless to those taking more than a high school anatomy class. The rest of the bones are on there with a few different parts labeled, but not everything and certainly not enough of the college important features. Overall, a $3 app should cover WAY more than this!
.. But not nearly in depth enough. I downloaded this for A&P, and Many skeletal structures that I need are missing from the included quizzes. The biggest disappointment is that there is no cranial dissection. There are 100+ parts of the inner skull to memorize, but this app only includes about 30 exterior structures of the skull - not even all of them. I can only recommend this app as a primer for medical classes.
For this price you should have every single bone done, cranium is very general, no jugular foramen etc, pictures are too low quality for iPad, I don't even know why you bothered with 3D if it's useless I thought it was pictures of actual bones and they weren't, all other bones are much better, but fix the head
Would be kind of cool to have the option of seeing a female skeleton as well.
I am just starting to use this app to help me study for a fitness theory exam. So far, it is quite good and priced about right for what you get.
Need to indicate the view of reference diagrams: anterior, posterior, etc. especially the hand diagram. Could be either hand from either side. App needs MORE diagrams. Should be able to break down bone by bone especially the humerus and femur. Muscle attachments should also be included in diagram. This app was disappointing... Especially for the price. Found free ones that were more complete.
Scoring function does not work Ok app for basic skeletal anatomy
I am a health professional and I find it useful to educate patients with this App. Would love to have more spinal segments photo that can be Zoom in close to see the structures and educate about arthritis, bone spur, nerve impingement, disc herniation etc. Great job with the images though!!! Thanks.
