Level- Customer Service

10/19 update why do I just have a black screen now instead of a level? I've reinstalled the app but since the iOS update a few weeks ago no level. ***** I don't have a need often. But now and again great to have the gadget at the ready. Probably don't want my builder to rely on it. Just saying. I guess it is accurate.

I was snowboarding new terrain and caused an avalanche. I tried to escape the mounds of snow coming barreling my direction at a high rate of speed. My heart started pumping like a new hemi. I continued to rip new terrain while looking for a drop to hide behind. No longer looking back at the devastating mounds of snow headed directly for me with a loud thunderous backing, I spotted a 20 foot drop that I would plant myself on after the drop in hopes that the avalanche would continue its path overhead without destroying me. As I neared the drop the avalanches power and force took me by surprise. I panicked! All I remember after that was digging the feeling of snow rolling me softly. I barely escaped the thrust of the avalanche but I did get covered in about five feet of snow. I had no clue which way to dig to get out. As an Army veteran, I remembered the survival skills that I was taught in Fort Richardson, Alaska. I snapped into survivalist mode and I did not panic anymore. I dug space around me to move then I pulled my iPhone out of my jacket. I activated the level app and held it upright. That option saved my life. I was upside down in the snow and had to dig the other direction to survive. If it wasn't from the level app, I would not be able to share my story with you and give this review. THANKS LEVEL AND THANKS APPLE FOR SAVING MY LIFE!

...It very well might be. I can easily ignore the slim ad at the bottom of the screen. What I get in return is an app that just simply works...every time. There are no settings, meaning no confusing options; there's no fuss and no hassle. The simplicity of the app is coupled with the accuracy of the iPhone's accelerometer, which is quite so. Add the phone's straight, flat edges or a case with a similarly straight edge, and you have a handy, accurate, portable level, whenever you have your phone. Great job!

I was doing a class video group project and the camera didn't seem to be positioned correctly so I used this to make sure the camera is at right level. As an OCD person, I use this at the bank, doctors office or whatever if I suspect the frames are not leveled. Don't use it often but when I do, it's fun. Currently app isn't working which makes me really sad but still give 5 stars.

The fact is, this is not the most exciting App out there, but it is very functional and effective. I tried it right after I got it, and it works quite well. Useful for pretty much any application - hanging art on the wall, building furniture or whatnot, home remodeling, landscaping, whatever you can think of that requires having straight lines. It's worth downloading.

Of course this doesn't replace a full-size level, but it's a super handy to have right in your pocket and use in a pinch when you're eyeballing. I've had it for several years on my iPod 4G. If they would update it so it would work on my iPod 6G, I would give it 5 stars.

It works, but would be better if the bubble was a different color than the 'liquid' when it was level. The current color change is hard for ME to see. Still giving it five stars though, because it does what it should.

This is an excellent app! I don't know about the people but I don't usually carry around a level everyday but I do have my phone with me all the time. And during those time that I need a level this comes in really handy. It may not be as accurate as a real one but it serves its purpose.

I needed a level tool in a pinch while I was making a ceramic sculpture. I always have my iPod with me so I may look up information and photos for reference. I remembered I had seen a level app a while back, so I looked it up in the App store, download it, and it really helped me. It is such a great app to have.

I cannot thank you enough for creating this app. I need a level exactly at the moment that I cannot make it to the hardware store, or didn't bring one with me. You have no idea how helpful this is for hanging pictures and stuff around the house and my office.... Thank you for creating this!!!!

This is a great level. I was looking for an app that would help me hang up my pictures. This app is perfect for keeping things straight. I love that the bubble lights up once everything is level. Helpful and simple, a must-have!

I just designed and built a bracket to mount my iPad on a tripod. I was just about to buy a level to glue onto the bracket, then I found this app which did exactly what I needed! Pictures are perfectly level. Great app, and the price is right!

Every thing about the level app is great except the color change at "level" could be more dramatic --- like red, not just the subtile blue from green. Still, I use it almost every day.

I was recently helping a friend change outlets in his new home and forget my level at home...on a whim, I downloaded this app...what a life saver. I went back and checked all the faceplates with my bullet level and they were all spot on.

I recently updated my iOS to the latest "level" and now Level wont work. Tim, i hope you fix the problem. Yours is the best, or was the best, ever.

Best level I have found in the App Store. Works on all surfaces for which I need a level. I really like the three-axis ability, it comes in handy in leveling tables, etc. Thanks for your development staff's efforts.

This has been a perfect tool to know when our 5th wheel is level. Anyone who has camped in a trailer knows this can be quite annoying if you sleep at a slant. Well designed. perfect little Ap.

Fast loading, simple interface. Love it. Would be nice if it was updated for retina graphics (the "bubble" jumps more than I'd expect if it was retina). Still give it 5 stars because it does exactly what it's supposed to.

Just hung a lot of pictures. It's perfect for small jobs like that. Would like the bubble to be easier to see since frequently the phone is in poor light situations. Otherwise it's a GREAT app

At first I used it to impress my friends, which worked, btw. But I'm a contractor, and now I use it all the time, at home & on the job, when a quick level is needed. Great tool!

Yes we all know that real levels are cheap but I personally don't plan on using this for jobs that require perfection. It easy to use and great for those small jobs of hanging pictures.

This level has proven it self. For ease of use and I do not have to dig out my four foot level for small jobs, just as accurate as my big level!

I was skeptic do download this because everyone I know has iLevel or another paid leveling app. However this app does exactly what it needs to do. Nothing more nothing less. Excellent app.

Only thing I would change is the color of the bubble when it is level. Something with a higher contrast like red or dark blue so that I can see it easily.

It works as described (though it could transition to different measurements more smoothly), however its appearance could be greatly improved. Take advantage of the great display!

I don't believe it: is this thing on the level? No, really, this is a nice app and although it has some kind of pulsing I think it is close enough to level it's good for me. Thanks.

I always use the iPhone App and it is always correct just to make sure I use a 4 foot level or a 8 ft level and it is always right The Best Level App I love it !!

I save some money a few days ago i needed a small LEVEL when i was in my way to HomeDepot and i think my Iphone can do Anything.. (excep cook,laundry&sex) Lol ... LEVEL easy work to my Iphone I Got this app .. WORK GREAT!!!!!! Better part is FREE :)

Simple to use and has helped me with many home projects. Compared with real level and appears accurate.

This app saved me when I was too lazy to go downstairs and find my real level! I managed to perfectly hang an entire picture wall with the help of this app!

Just the handiest app. Easy to use. Handy and much easier to find than going out to the garage and looking through all my husband's tools.

I've only had this level a couple of weeks and I've used it a couple dozen times already. It comes in very handy!

Very handy , eliminates the need for level pens or small levels for quick , small jobs. Saves money by eliminating the need for a leveling tool.

No need for calibrating anything. Just open the app and use it. Simple and accurate! 5 stars for the fact that it works properly.

Have used the level at least twice a month since getting it. Works great.

It's a freakin' level for your phone. This very idea woulda' freaked out your grandparents or gotten you burned at the stake by your great great grandparents' village. It's a wonder of our glorious age.

This product works pretty good as a basic level.

Extremely simple to use. There are no setting so right when it's download, it's ready to go.

Needed to level my trailer but forgot the Level. Downloaded this one and got my trailer levelled. I'm happy.

I love this app, it works just like a level. I used it to build my 3D printer and it works great. I couldn't find a real one so instead of spending 15$ on one I just got a free one for just as affective!!!!

Upgraded to iOS 9 and it won't load. Just crashes.

Checked it against my torpedo level, was right on! If it's not 100% it's certainly good enough for most household tasks!

Love the app but wish I could get a finer adjustment. Not always sure that the level is close enough.

A brilliant app. Easy to use and reliable.

While on travel I needed a level but had left mine at home so downloaded this app. Upon requesting to download Apple asked for payment information. This never happens and I should have stopped there but, due to fatigue and urgency, continued. Then selecting the icon to open it ballooned up to full size for a moment then immediately collapsed back to icon size. I removed the app. Hopefully this is a legitimate site and this was just a bad download....I can not recommend this site or Application based on my experience.

While installing a countertop with a loose backsplash it appeared the counter was not level. Having forgot my level I downloaded this app to save the day. My eye said it wasn't level, the backsplash made the counter appear not level, the paint line of the the previous counter said it wasn't level, and finally the home owner offered a level and it said it wasn't level. But this app said it was level, I'll probably be deleting it.

This app was the best level app in the App Store. Unfortunately it somehow stopped working somewhere along the way. I wish they would fix it but I don't even know if it's still getting supported. I'm using an iPhone 6S Plus and every time I try it just gives me a black screen which crashes my iPhone forcing me to soft reset. Not good, find another one until these people get around to maybe fixing it.

I know this is intended for a review but it's kind a hard to review something that does not open. I select the app it acts like it's going to open and then it takes me back to my home screen every time. So if you guys can fix that and work it out I'll gladly try again. After reading all the reviews I thought it would be great but I have no idea because it still will not open.

Handy little app. Someone asked today if I knew where to find a level (yes, really) so I whipped out my phone. But when I tried to open the app, it just puts me to my regular home screen. Updated iPhone the other night but don't know if the two are linked.

Yeah, it's a fun tool to meds around with, but when it comes to being used as a real level, don't. For some reason I just assumed it would be accurate and hung a shelf with it. Now I have a crooked shelf and soon 5 large holes that will be left when I remove it to fix the dang thing. You'd be better off holding it up and having someone eyeball it.

Back in the day when I first downloaded this it worked like a charm. Since 2016 have tried multiple times to get to work and it just won't. It seems like there is no longer any support because I've seen several mentions of this issue and no changes. Guess I will also delete and find another.

The number of degrees you can be off is way to great. Would work ok for everyday leveling but if you're looking to hang a number of things that must be level with each other forget it. Pay the money and get the iHandy Carpenter instead. That gives you leveling down to a tenth of a degree.

This app worked great until I installed it on my iPhone 6, now it just crashes all the time!!!

Horrible. When I installed my shelf bracket, this app said it was completely level. Before securing completely I measured it in comparison to the shelf above it (which was installed using an actual level) and it was more than an inch off on one end. I'll just buy a real level.

It snaps to the level point with about 5 degrees of pitch. Totally useless. I couldn't hang a picture with this app.

Worst app I have ever used. I used this app to level a few brackets before screwing them into the wall and the result was horrendous. Strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND.
