Too many Apps pop up !!! Tuner works Great !! Get rid of the pop ups !!

When I opened the app at first I got a blank screen. Then it said in bold print "Mystery Slot". I tried to cancel out of the pop up ad but then it brought me to the App Store to buy a 99 cent game I don't even need. When I finally got to the actual app it worked fine. But now every time I click on the app it brings me these ads and I can't cancel out. Just cut to the chase. If you are in need of a quick sound fix for your guitar I would buy another app.

This is exactly what I was looking for! For those of you that only rated 1⭐ just because it wasn't what you were looking for doesn't mean it is only worth 1⭐. Some reviews say that they want to learn how to tune a guitar. It's simple. You just have to turn the knobs at the end of the guitar. Does that help? This app is just so you know what each string should sound like. It helped me a lot so good job to the people who made this app.😀😀😀

If you can tune strings from a tone this works great! Helping my girlfriend move and found the acoustic guitar she bought for her daughter. Her daughter never played it and it was wildly out of tune. So much I couldn't tell where to start. Oh, and the harmonics are wildly off! Downloaded this app and was able to tune all the strings in about 3 minutes and start playing for my girlfriend. And you know how girls like guitar players! The intonation is still way off and that was causing tuning issues, as well as it is only in tune for the first three or four frets. All of which I can fix if I bring out my old guitar tool box. But hey in a handful of minutes I had this app downloaded and a horribly out of tune guitar playing like it was meant to be! Great deal!!

It has an ad at the beginning (full screen) and then takes you to the app. If you hit the top button (where it plays all the notes in order) it has a pop-up ad. There is a ad at the bottom as well. It is easy to use. You press the note and it play that note for you to tune your guitar with. It's not horrible, but its not the best, but it's free. I thank the developer for a free way to tune my guitar.

This app works fine!! Yes there is an add that pops up as soon as you open it, but just press the tiny black "X" in the corner and it takes you to the app no problem!! All free apps have pop ups and this only has one! It works just fine and it's easy to use and understand for beginners. Don't listen to everyone else it is a great app!

I am just learning how to play the guitar so I really needed an app to help me know that my strings were in tune. This was the best guitar tuner in the App store because each string is labeled. Great app for guitar players new and old!

What a wonderfully simple idea! Especially great for ear players. Just the tones to tune your guitar too. A virtual guitar always in 440 tuning. Sweet! Only way it could be better is to select specialized open chord turnings. But for straight 440, this is great. And it is free. What is not to like?

Good instrument. Easy to hear and match the tones. Great for times when i'm in a pinch. It was free, so the ads didn't bother me. Thanks for creating it!

I use this app a lot to tune my acoustic guitar. It's really helpful because it don't take me but half a minute to tune up using this.

Trying to learn how to play guitar at 51 found this app to be very easy to use for someone who does not know what a tuned guitar is supposed to sound like.

If you have a good ear for tune then this tuner gets you to 440 and is all you need. If your working too develop your ear then this is a great FREE way to do it. If your just starting out and don't get it the BUY A $20 tuner.

If u cant tune ur guitar off a tune u should be...otherwise u have no business playing an instrument. Nothing fancy but gets the job done...and its free

The sounds of the notes last a solid while so you have time to tune to them. It would be nice to have other tunings but at the end of the day this app will get you where you want to be.

Hear note from phone, tune to note. No use of microphone to aid in tuning, but it's effective at being a basic bare-bones aid to get the job done!

This app is so full of ads it will make your head spin, do not download. You cant push a button without a fullscreen ad blocking everything

Ads pop up every 5 seconds, app is very laggy, and you can only tune to the standard. Horrible

It's just a tuner, and the ads aren't as intrusive as the other reviews say.

Can't get this thing to do anything except show me ads for slot machine apps. Close the program and turn it back on...another ad. Close the ad and no button works. I'm just looking at a bad image of guitar pegs that do nothing whether I tap them, push them or hold them down. And there's no buttons besides that so...delete

Wish I had read the other reviews before I down loaded this. Apple should be ashamed for putting this crap on their web site. Completely unusable. Absolutely worthless. It will take more time to get this app off my Ipad than it took them to write it!!!

Just an app to help someone tune by ear. You can't change the tuning to anything other than the classic EADGBe. Nothing special.

It needs different tuning options. Simple as that.

For a pitch pipe type tuner it works well. I would prefer a needle that gauges your strings with the microphone. But It works great. Thanks guys

Not worth the down load. Turned it on and got about 5-6 adds. Every open place on the screen was an different add. Didn't even bother to see if it worked.

Tuning to a sound generator is not often very useful to me. Certainly not when a piano is at hand.

This is a very good basic tune app. It has really come in handy in a pinch.

No clear way to start the "tuning." Lots of pop-up ads, though!

Really awful and useless. Ads pop up every 10 seconds too. How could anyone say this works?

What's the purpose

This app just plays the note which is hidden among the ads, popups, and redirects! Doesn't accept live feed from real guitars using attachments such as iRig. Not recommended!

Pops up an ad when you touch some parts of the screen. Developer is just trying to monetize this simple app.

Plays the 6 main notes, and fills screen with ads. I was at least hoping for a chromatic tuner, but no. Uninstalled.

Full screen add pops up right away on app launch, then sends you to safari for more. It's not an app it's a trapp.

All I get are adds and no visible way to start the app. There are more subtle ways to surface advertising and not clobber the app with them.

It's terrible not worth your time. The pop up ads make it worse.

This is NOT a tuner. A tuner chromatically gives you feed back about the string you are playing and what it's pitch is. This app just plays the sound of each note. I suggest you just get another tuner that uses your devices mic to tune chromatically or just go out and buy a tuner, I got mine for 20 bucks and it's a clip on tuner meaning it uses vibrations instead of sound for a more accurate tune.
