The watch app can be run alone, but
To send PDF files to Apple Watch, you need the iPhone app.
Please make sure you have an Apple Watch before purchasing the app.
The iPhone app does not support viewing PDF files.

Our app does not provide separate PDF files. PDF files can be viewed by inserting the file stored by the app user into the app.

How do I cancel the WatchPDF subscription?
Open Settings on your iPhone or iPad, tap your Apple ID (your name) at the top, go to Subscriptions, select WatchPDF from the list and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you can keep using the app until then. See Apple's official subscription management page for details.
How do I delete the WatchPDF app?
Touch and hold the WatchPDF icon on the Home Screen, choose Remove App and then Delete App. Important: if you have an active subscription, deleting the app does not cancel it automatically - you must first cancel your subscription using the steps above.

I like that this app is a one time purchase. The other pdf watch apps that I have seen are subscription based or you have to spend at least $30 for full functionality. I’m in dental hygiene school. I also work, so this app is convenient for me to study when there is down time at work. I’m not sure if this app supports file formats other than pdf, but I think this app is worth it.
This app works great for the price, it allows for multiple file transfers to your Apple Watch/s (however this can take a bit of time) but in comparison to all the other applications available on the App Store that charge a monthly or yearly subscription to use more than one file, this is perfect!
