Edit: This is a still a great app with a lot of great features! Each update does a little more to improve the experience. I will get on my soap box again though and mention my issue with the clip gallery and video player. In an age where having a high quality playback is a must, the app is still falling behind in this department. I shouldn’t have wait for it to respond to a landscape orientation and the playback shouldn’t force my window to close. interactivity should be seamless. I’d also like to be able to zoom in while watching clips or looking at screenshots. Hoping for an update that will address this soon! Still an Xbox dude for sure! Original post: As someone who has stuck with this app since it’s launch, I can say that it’s come a long way! Way more accessibility throughout the app than in previous versions and connectivity to my Xbox without having to be on the same wifi is my favorite low key feature. While for sure it’s earned all five stars the app still isn’t perfect. Scrolling through saved clips is still a challenge. It would be nice just seem less Lu transition from one clip to another without so much bouncing back and forth. The responsiveness could be a lot better. Not a big fan of the video player the app uses either. Besides that, Microsoft keeps giving me reasons to stick with my console! If you’re an Xbox user, you definitely need this app.

This app is so amazing! 🤩 Thank you, creators! 😊 I can chat with my friends, call them, use emojis, too, and it even shows me if they’re online and what game they’re in! There’s also points you get from logging into the app, playing on PC and controller, (But no points for mobile, which is the only disappointing thing in this app because I use mobile…) And you also get points from playing this really fun mini game here in Xbox that is totally free and has 0 Ads. It’s called Microsoft Jewel. And you can use the points to save them up and turn them into real money! Right now I am saving mine up to get minecoins for Minecraft! And there’s also an AI that keeps track of your gamer score, and If you don’t know what to do in your games or if you need help planning a prank, or anything, really, well, that’s what the AI is for! You also get recommended games to buy from analyzing your gamer type on the AI, and then the Xbox App shows you which games your friends have for if you want to get them to play with your friends! I really enjoy Xbox, it’s really useful, and I plan on using it in the future because discord log in is too complicated. 😂 Five stars, DEFINITELY. I highly recommend. ⭐️✅💯😀

Hey Microsoft, I love this app but today made me realize that there are some features that could make it even better. Excuse me while I tell a short story from today. I’m a full time university student and during the summer my nephews come and stay the summer at my house. My youngest is 5 and he loves playing Xbox and to be honest he plays a wicked round of halo. Now the issue I have is that while at school today I received multiple messages from other players saying that he was team killing on a different game since he can’t tell the difference yet from friend or foe. So that made me think and start looking at the app more in depth after sending them all messages explaining what happened and one thing I noticed was that in no way does the app show what games or apps are currently being played or used in real time. Another thing that made me thing was why can’t we get more parental control through the app itself as well. I know that they exist on the Xbox and ultimately it’s my responsibility to set them but a backup would be very helpful so events like this don’t get me banned on my favorite online games. Hopefully events like this are rare for most people but it did get me thinking. Why not allow me to set rules remotely to my device. It’s supposedly registered on my phone and Xbox to recognize each other. Any-who, love your app, love your products. Hope one day we can see features like this for parents or aunts and uncles who don’t normally have to monitor their accounts but can if they want too.

This app is great and is my favorite thing on my phone. But I've been having problems (not glitches) These are simple issues with loading that could probably be fixed easily, keep in mind I'm not a programmer so I don't know if this is possible. Sometimes when the app is loading it can't finish loading and it forces me to re-type my email and password. Lately this hasn't happened so you may have fixed it already but it was so annoying I had to bring it up. Another problem I have is that when I'm loading my clubs, or friends list the gamertags and info doesn't load until it's done loading, this app is supposed to be a quick and easy tool to use to manage things on your console from a handheld device, but the whole quick part goes away when you have to wait a few secs for the whole list to load. I understand that things need to load but I feel the descriptions, gamertags, and other info should load first before the gamerpics, and the backgrounds so I understand who is who and what is what as soon as a new tab opens. Or maybe even make the whole app pre loaded, so as soon as your past the first loading screen than BAM! Everything is pre loaded from when you where gone and you can check it out with no slow transitions. I understand that when you get a new message or notification that that tab has to re load, but what if the app was constantly updating in the background even if you are not in the tab, so if I'm watching a gameclip and I get a new message, the message will load in the tab even though I'm not in it so when I go to it it's already there ready to be read. I'm still not a programmer but I hope this or something like it can be implemented into this almost perfect app. Sorry for the long message, have a great day!😁

Hey, this is is a cool app that’s been really useful for me especially party chat since I broke my mic a couple months ago. But honestly the developers should take the app down for a while and do AS MUCH as they can to fix all the bugs and glitches this app has . Now I’m gonna name a few just for example, 1, every day or Two I’m in the party with my friends and my turns off and I can’t hear them or it kicks me from the app. Another thing with the party situation is if I leave a party by accident because it freezes A LOT and I have to leave the party because of it. When I leave and try to join back it usually says “access to this feature has been blocked due to how your account is set up” AND I HAVS NO IDEA WHY IF I HAVEN'T EVEN CLICKED ON SETTINGS! 2. Most of the time I can’t even text my friends through that because it says I can’t look at my messages right now. And finally the biggest glitch that A LOT of people have to deal with, is the freezing glitch and it’s honestly the one I hate the most . Every now and then when your just casually using the Xbox app, it will freeze and when you try to use it again it turns you screen on and off and you can’t touch anything for about 10-15 seconds. This app is cool and useful but just straight up annoying. I find my self deleting and reinstalling the app because of the party glitch that says this fear is blocked or the freezing glitch that turns my phone on and off MANY times. So please make you guys out there do something about this because I honestly can’t take it anymore. Oh and the by the way , I hate the lag when I try to watch my clips. AND EPSPAICALLY when I try to screen record them and the screen just goes black till I stop screen recording. King regards,Mikey Valencia

While I (sometimes) use this app to play my Xbox, most of the time I use it to use my Bluetooth headphones while playing the console in the same room. However, I discovered (to my disappointment) that there is a 2.5 second delay in the audio. Which was really saddening, as I wanted to play competitive games (like halo infinite, call of duty, etc) with the headphones. I kindly request a version of the "remote play" without the screen, so I can play my Xbox with the controllers bluetooth connected to the Xbox, and my wireless headphones connected to the app so I can have the audio on my headphones, the reason I want a version without the screen is because I'm using a old phone (iPhone XR,) to use the remote play so I can have audio for my headphones, however, the screen is the reason on why my headphones have that delay (I play at 120hz on my Xbox, so of course it slows it down.) Without the screen and just the audio, I can play with my wireless headphones on the maximum audio graphics (I have to turn on the "high connectivity" mode to play, unless I want a 2 second cutout each minute.) Sorry if this is a lot to ask, but please. if you have the time, implement it. Thanks for reading.

Everything is great especially finally a rewards system again I think you should get a lil more reward points tho for how expensive the games are the only thing I don’t agree with is paying 17 dollars a month just for 3 -4 actual games people play when you can just get core pass for original an still have access to some games I can’t stress it enough tho Xbox prices need to come down or you guys are going to loose a lot of customers because 70 bucks for a game idc how much work put into it an then having to buy all these expansions an passes just to get in game items I don’t agree with an all that needs to be fixed when you guys release a game it should be a full game especially for 70 but still if you guys would bring it down the prices instead of competing an trying to get top dollar we all know you make a great system Microsoft an always improve the consoles an updates your doing great Microsoft just prices like I said are getting out of hand an not releasing full games an have to pay for content should be in game an have to work for

I LOVE this app. Never mind that’s an overstatement. I like this app. I myself am a second Generation gamer. My dad played the very first Halo, Halo: CE when it was on CPU. Now, I play Halo Master Chief and Destiny 2, as well as other iconic games like Rocket League, Apex Legends, Battlefront 2, and Minecraft. I LOVE gaming. Sadly, my WiFi cannot support the remote streaming. I am also disappointed that you cannot fully access the Microsoft store. There are some minor details that I wish this app had as well such as the craptastic controller that you can use on your phone. However, I do like that you can download apps to your Xbox remotely. You can also access all pics and videos remotely as well. Like my friend (Tag: Genxman212) will share his tags with me all the time through the app. This app is good for people who are on vacation or people whose jobs do not require constant attention like firefighters or police officers. This app needs a lot of tweaking but it definitely has lots of potential. My tag is stinkych33Ze shoot me a text and we can hop into an Apex Legends game. Please consider my opinion Microsoft. I actually really like this app, it works for exactly what I need of it, chats and parties for a little while until I can use my console… the only problem I have with this app is when I’m using the chat feature, as the messages come through, the app sends out a notification. Obviously I want to be notified whenever a new chat comes through- but NOT while I’m already in the chatroom. This isn’t a major issue for me, since I can cut off notifications and just manually check the chats every now and then, it’s just a mild inconvenience is all. Voice memos is just a feature I would like to see implemented into the app, Instagram & Snapchat have voice memo like features (example of it being possible to put into an app) and the console version is a handy feature to have, if it’s possible to use the mic for parties, then adding voice memos to the app version as well seems like the correct next step. I’m not an app developer, and I know absolutely nothing about the industry, I am a consumer, and I know that honestly??- we really don’t care about comparing achievements on our phones, we want smooth, portable communication with our Xbox friends….

This is a great app and I really helps for people that can’t afford headsets and that’s really cool and you know how most apps don’t really update comments. You know how three years ago this only used to get one star view and they updated this so much this Xbox app is so cool like some of them don’t do that three years ago it was only two reviews two star reviews and one star reviews and now it’s literally getting so much five star reviews and four star reviews. It’s just crazy how much this has improved over the years so this is really cool app so what you can do you can take pictures of stuff almost has everything like an Xbox says except you can’t go in the game chat but that doesn’t matter cause and you don’t even have to make a new account or anything. You can just put everything you need every information like email just to your email and stuff and then you have that exact same profile that you had it can do anything on it. You can claim award you can do text you can take pictures and stuff and like this might help me so because me and my sister share room and so that I don’t want to see my text messages cause they’re private and she probably won’t be interested and I don’t wanna wake her up by typing so I use this app. It’s also really good for that and is really cool so when you go in a party, you don’t have to have your device on and this works for any thing and like those type things and tablets well I think it’s on the iPad but that’s OK and this is such a great experience and he doesn’t make your battery go down and it once you’re in a party you can just turn off the thing like so so I think you should really get this. It’s a really cool appand I don’t wanna put a headset on because my ears hurt from having my headset all day and I don’t too loud and yeah that’s really cool and so you should download this app. It’s the best app I’ve ever had for talking bye

I have 300mps internet and my clips won’t even load. That wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t get banned from downloading clips. For whatever reason, messaging someone that they are bad at a video game is a sin, so they banned me from messaging, saving clips, and joining parties. Kinda annoying the punishment doesn’t fit the crime. They should have banned me from messaging people and that’s it. No reason I can’t save a clip or join my friends party. I also am annoyed at other things. I’m very glad I can see my stats and my friends stats, but I cant see them side by side. I have to go back and fourth to see how much ahead of my friends I am. I also can’t change my name. I used to be able to change my account name in the settings, but they removed that feature and the Microsoft website doesn’t let me either. So my name is always going to be the same. Last complaint is the look of the app. It’s pretty plain. It’s not in 4K or anything. Not a huge deal but it would make me enjoy it more. My rating is gonna be 2 stars until they fix at least one of these things. 💚

Overall, the app ever since the update looks and feels pretty sleek. However, there are a lot of smaller issues with it. The biggest issue that I have with it is that Microsoft removed the ability to change your profile picture from the app. There was honestly no point in doing this, since there was nothing wrong with it in the first place. Now, if you want to change your profile picture, you need to get a USB and plug it into your Xbox, wait for it to actually upload, and then you can change it. What was wrong with the old system of simply going into your camera roll on the app then choosing one that way? Another issue is that the app takes a decent amount of time to load, and sometimes won’t even load everything at once (such as your captures). There are also some smaller bugs, such as the app stating that people are offline when they aren’t. However, there are some good things about it (such as the addition of remote play), but in my opinion, they don’t outweigh the negatives. Overall, if you own an Xbox, you might as well get it, but don’t expect a perfect experience.

The big change few years ago really hurt what was most important about the app. The newer format is easy too navigate, which is nice. But taking away access to clubs was a terrible mistake. I haven’t interacted with clubs since then, besides the occasional screenshot posts. But far as getting together & being able to chat or setup meets in racing games or joining car cruises in Forza Horizon, you really have to do it from a controller- who likes chatting from a controller when you could do it so much easier/ faster on the app. It was amazing before- PLEASE put in a patch for club access, it could just be under “social” or whatever, just bring it back. Playing/interacting together has more players spending more money to play the same games/ DLC’s. All clubs have been dead since that app update few years ago. It’s very annoying to doing it with controller or viewing content only on pc or console when you could be playing the game. Before I could be on break at work and see a scheduled car meet for later in the day, or post to a club from my phone……

Where is the store portion of the app?! I am trying to browse games and can only search, and when I search for “ghost” I get every game with ghost in the description, in no discernible order. I do not get titles with Ghost listed first. I have a huge tile for Minecraft on the top of my page. I would never play Minecraft. I’m an adult trying to spend my money, but you want to make it harder. There are no options to customize the layout or to put stuff I care about on the screen. I don’t care what my friends are playing. In fact, friends are what I’m avoiding by playing Xbox. Are you trying to remind me how much I miss society? I am trying to buy a game! Are you making it harder for me to purchase through the app?! I can see no way to browse for games. I’ve checked. Did you guys acquire the five dumbest chimps you could find, put them in a room with crayons and a disco ball, then say “draw our new interface!”?!?! I don’t care what my friends are playing. I don’t even like most of my friends, but at least they didn’t design this app. This is AWFUL.

Bottom line, I dislike the new Xbox app update. It has been very difficult for me to utilize. I prefer the original version over this garbage. First off, why would Microsoft remove the achievements and activity feed section? I can’t even see nor can I compare with friends: the hours we played, game statistics, achievements unlocked/locked, and even gameplay clips and images. In addition, I don’t like the fact that my profile page doesn’t include every single game from my library. It even removed my personal activity feed. In other words, I hate the highlights section. The only thing I seem to like about the app is the fact that I can connect my iPhone and Tablet to Xbox One and project games over to it however, it’s not enough to impress me. I really hope Microsoft see this message and considers reverting back to the original version of the app because there was nothing wrong with it at all. It was easy to work around and things were organized accordingly. This new update is a scattered mess. DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOW!

Hi! Been an Xbox fan since 2009! I downloaded this app to go with my XSX (most powerful console ever) and boy does it have versatility! First of all, being able to download games to my hardware is revolutionary! I usually download a bunch of games to my 5TB Seagate HDD and then go to sleep only to wake up and all of my games are downloaded! I can also delete games I no longer play however it’s somewhat inconsistent usually giving me errors only to find out a few hours later the game was removed after all. Also being able to play my games on my iPhone SE 2020 is amazing! They’ve showed up Nintendo with this feature! Lastly, being able to communicate with my friends through my phone is convenient. I’m excited to see what new features will be added next! I personally would love to be able to transfer my games back and forth between the console SSD and the external HDD. Xbox Series X is the most amazing piece of hardware I have owned and I’m looking forward to playing this beast of a machine for the next 10-15 years! It’s future proofed.

The new updates adds remote play from your phone?! Uh what, google stadia is gonna get absolutely destroyed if Xbox decides to keep updating it. I have a base Xbox one and an iPhone XR and I was able to play some single player games and navigate the menus fine. Within reason obviously, there was a slight delay due to the nature of streaming it but it still felt very very very good to play once I got use to it. And tbh I wouldn’t want to play an intensive multiplayer game or anything like that would probably cause issues to arise like long loading screens and the sorts, as I said I’m using a base Xbox one so maybe the new generation doesn’t even have issues like that. 🙏🙏from the Xbox crew, this app doesn’t feel like a fan made companion app anymore, you’re able to physically operate your device and I’m pretty sure there’s even a remote feature for operating the menus of Xbox If you don’t have you’re controller. Ez I’m not taking this app off my phone unless they take away the remote play. Rip to other phone games. Rip to google stadia. 🪦

It’s been great, I’ve had it for about 3 years. But just now, it’s having a problem with joining or creating Parties. When I first open the Xbox App on my iPhone SE 2nd Generation, you can hardly make out what it says (it’s the menu that says joining party), and then goes to saying, “You are not in a Party.” This is something that they need to Fix quickly because I use the Xbox App everyday for my parties. It just now started having this problem. I have my phone on iOS 17.0.3 (the latest fully public iOS available) and the Xbox App is definitely updated to current version. I even restarted my iPhone and left it off for over 15 minutes and still had the problem. I can’t create my own parties or join off of someone else’s invites, and I get ALL Notifications for everything, but it’s just the Parties now. I swear, it’s always something with Microsoft, whether it’s an public issue or someone false reporting me because of how good I am at the game compared to them. PLEASE!! PLEASE!!! PLEASE!!!! FIX THIS!!!!!

So,Me and my friends use the Xbox app all to the in order to change our profile picture lately but every time I go to change it and upload the picture I get an error saying we cannot upload “anything right now” please try again later. And that has been going on for a week and you haven’t heard about the problem either the error is just at my side and not anyone else who has the Xbox app. But I do advise I can say that can you please try to figure out what’s wrong and why we can’t change our profile pictures to the custom ones I recently just stayed up till 3:00 making a profile picture just to get The holy grale of my first error on the app. And I have a very stable internet connection and should have no problem doing anything WiFi related. If Xbox support or any Microsoft management read this report please try to get this done I know your dealing with a Xbox error we’re it shows everyone offline sometimes but once you fix that problem can you please consider on fixing this. Thank you for your time.

I am small content creator/gamer/dad. If Xbox made it so that I could record my lobby’s voice audio along with mine from game chat and audio from party chat when I record my clips it would be the perfect method for under equipped content creators. Speaking from personal Experience between record clips on my Xbox and using my phone to download and post my clips via tik tok etc… I don’t even have to move from my gaming chair to make content. This small change would allow me to make content with actual audio from me and my friends or catch reactions from people in game chat. It seems like such a small change that wouldn’t matter but it would help out me and so many others like me immensely. Please take this review into consideration and maybe give it a chance. I started using the Xbox App because I wanted to try out the Remote Feature on it and it was pretty good and all being able to move on the screen and things like that, but then it became useless to me I obviously use a controller now and using the remote would just be for fun or no reason at all, but here is something they should add, being able to see your controller battery and maybe headset battery if you have a wireless one like myself. It would be that feature that would be useful for people who might not have a charger or then just wanting to know what it’s at because they could buy batteries or they could buy things that would be based off of that feature. The app sometimes is buggy and won’t let me get in but usually it’s pretty good, I don’t use the Xbox App too much because theirs usually nothing interesting I’d need to see on it, but that’s just my opinion so whatever you guys use it for would be good and all but I don’t see myself using that much, but for the people who do use it i will give this a 4 star but if that feature got added I will gladly change my rating

So I got banned I believe on call of duty due to the AI endgame chat deal that they just upgraded. I see that Xbox has the same thing as we have been gaming with Xbox for quite some time 20 years plus we all like to joke goof around and play wonderful games that we are provided by you guys… we have family members that served in the United States of America that are veterans and want a free of speech they fought for our country or land, and we have the gay lives matter. I am not being hateful to anybody, but because of the way we grew up and talk and talk trash. We deal with problems now and I hope that Microsoft does not proceed to ban people like I am right now on our headsets. If somebody cannot take a joke, they should not be on the game. Simple as that the gay pride get one whole month but our veterans that fought in bloody wars only get one day very unfair. Selfish. Just wanted to update you guys and hope We can continue to be apart of Xbox live as we all love to have a grate and blesse day

Although others are addressing this, I want to give more awareness to this as well. Ever since the new Xbox App update, completely revamping the app, I can’t help but notice and am annoyed by the fact that the profile customization (gamerpic, sending photos in chats, etc.) is nowhere to be seen on the app. The app loads slower compared to the older version, which is strange, and the screen always warps itself whenever the device is rotated, forcing me to close the app and restart it. My main concern, however, is on the fact that you aren’t able to customize your profile picture/gamerpic anymore. I’ve tried looking over for a solution, and I found nothing. It feels as if the freedom of speech and expression has been taken away, because other than this, there’s not really any other way to express yourself. Despite no answer so far, I really hope that this issue can be resolved sooner than later, so I can change my gamer picture.

Ever since the update went live, I’ve been digging this new user interface and the ability to easily share your captures very intuitively and downloading games to your console before you choose to purchase it digitally or via disc, so you can play the game on day one instantly. However, there are some additional features I’d like to have in there as well. The Xbox Store isn’t in here to discover new games. Though searching for a game to download is easy, I think adding more detail, like the current store on Xbox One / Series X/S would be a plus. Next, the onscreen keyboard. I did hear that using your phone to type your message straight to your console was coming, but it’d be nice to incorporate that somehow seamlessly. And also for 360 games, I noticed you can’t download them to console yet? Not sure if that’s a work in progress, but that’d be nice to add alongside original Xbox games too. Other than that, I love this new design and can’t wait for many more updates to make this next gaming experience much better!

I have a hard time accessing my Xbox, so would be nice if I could make a group post so I could make new friends. I don’t wanna have to rely on others to find new people to talk to. Been using the Xbox app for a couple of years now and loved it has been telling people to use it but it has a lot of downsides lately they have fixed the glitch use your voice to text. It didn’t work for the longest time and it made me mad because I have difficulty spelling because of dyslexia so I’d have to go on my Notes app and copy-paste stuff from there. Overall, if those issues weren’t there, I would rate this fine out of five. Good job whoever made this app or the team you guys did a really good job and I hope this is you well I don’t wanna be a critic, but I just a lot of things to do are accessible for people. especially if somebody has difficulty having a steady Internet connection but you have a good data provider for your phone.

I’ve done reviews before and the same people issues are there. Messages from friends come up on my screen with the complete message for all to see. Doesn’t matter if it’s locked or not. So have have to set my phone notifications to not preview at all which therefore requires me to open up the app every time a I a generalized “Xbox notification” on my iPhone. Why can it go back to beeping with a discreet “ you gave a message from John Doe gamer tag”? That was the best way but it’s been a year. Next the app starts to randomly show all my friends offline whenever it wants to when I know do a fact they are on the app. Also we use to have time stamps for when a message came through the app now I have no idea when it was sent if I don’t hear the first and only beep. They do a lot of updates and such but I just want basic message functioning cuz that my main reason for using the app.

I have had the Xbox app for a year now. It is quite convenient for people like me who like accessibility options in a app. However it their newest update. They changed one of the best features in the Xbox app, the ability to change your gamer pic to a custom gamer pic from your phone with ease. It couldn’t have been any simpler. You add a picture into your phones picture library. Then you go to your profile in the app, hit customize profile, and then all you had to do was choose the picture. I know it’s not impossible to change your gamer picture to a custom one, but still they had no reason to complicate this feature. Microsoft, if your reading this, then just put the profile customization back the way it was on the Xbox app. While I must say some of the new long awaited features such as knowing when a game has downloaded is great. But I still want to have the ability to change my gamer pic to spongebob dabbing on Ali A’s head without having to buy a usb.

I really like this app. It is very well designed and includes many great features. Remote play is great if you have a good connection. However, there are tons of glitches. The startup animation would be good, but every motion of the Xbox symbol causes it to flash before performing the motion. When you rotate the app to landscape or portrait, there are random white blocks that pop up in place of the proper screen rotation animation. The chat is also very glitch. The ui also glitches and flickers quite often. The remote control is better than the one in the previous version of the app. And there are also many other problems not mentioned in this review. What I’m disappointed about is the removal of the ability to check game achievements in the app. I’m also sad that there aren’t many button spread throughout the app to access remote play. Party chat works very well in the app. Overall, this is a great app, but there are a lot of bugs and glitches that ruin it. Please fix these, Microsoft!

I have had crackling audio through my headphones with every single Xbox since the one, and that was 13 or so years ago. There is no reason, whatsoever, that a multi billion dollar corporation should not be able to easily resolve these technical issues. It is disappointing to see the same problems or glitches present literally a decade since this new interface launched for the first time. I see new products, higher prices, but deal with the exact same problems I did when I was paying less. Google will literally tell you 3 different ways to fix it, it is such a common problem. I speak for 110% of players when I say fixing this simple problem we’ve had longer than some people have been alive at this point, would be more appreciated than jacking the prices up for practically no reason other than “need more money boys, sorry!”

I feel like there should be a feature that lets you view what percentage your game that’s downloading is at on the app and notifies your phone when your game is done downloading

The new way to choose a profile picture by using pictures of your phone is WAY MORE HARD. The previous version was much better and way more easier!

What I’ve come to realize is that the xbox app is severely outdated. No way to switch profiles through the app, can’t change your profile picture without constantly receiving the error “something went wrong. Try again in a bit” along with constantly sending out the same notifications about 4-5 times. Cannot download games through the app, late chat notifications and random bots adding to group chats with 100’s of other bots. FIX THIS

This new remote play is awesome I can play Xbox from anywhere asking as I have a controller even in school 👍

I love this app allows me to know what’s going on with my account but one thing I never understood is why can’t you buy games from the app? I’ve never understood that Microsoft please add this

Why did you guys removed the option to see achivements and compare them whith your friends ? Please bring that back

This app USED to be good. Key words being "used to." Before the latest update, the xbox app was really good and I had very few issues with it. Ever since the new update, I have absolutely HATED using this app. Obviously this is my opinion right now, but I hate almost every single thing that has changed (and a bunch of my friends agree.) First off, the app takes longer to load in than it used to. Second off, the whole messaging / chatting with others is awful. Sending messages can be delayed a lot and sometimes not even send. You can't send pictures anymore. And also, if you have notifications on, it'll glitch over and over and over again whenever someone messages you (meaning even if you are on a chat with someone currently texting each other, whenever they text you, a notification will buzz at the top of ur screen.) This glitch is only fixed if u reload the app, and even then, after a few minutes of texting, the notification buzzing will still show up again. Another thing I hate is the online / offline thing. I don't like how when you are on a chat with someone, it says they are offline, even if they are actually online. It only says they are online on the home screen, which is very annoying. Honestly, the only thing I do like about this update is our captures all in one area. Obviously this probably won't happen, but I feel like this app would be way better if the update was just taken off, and the app was reverted back to its old state.

16jmolii Edit: This is a still a great app with a lot of great features! Each update does a little mor to improve the experience. I will get on my soap box again though and mention my issu with the clip gallery and video player. In an age where having a high quality playback is must, the app is still falling behind in this department. I shouldn't have wait for it to respond to a landscape orientation and the playback shouldn't force my window to close. interactivity should be seamless. I'd also like to be able to zoom in while watchin clips or looking at screenshots. Hoping for an update that will address this soon! Still a Xbox dude for sure! Original post: As someone who has stuck with this app since it's launch, I can say that it's come a long way! Way more accessibility throughout the app than in previous versions and connectivity to my Xbox without having to be on the same wifi is my favorite low key feature. While for sure it's earned all five stars the app still isn't perfec Scrolling through saved clips is still a challenge. It would be nice just seem less Lu transition from one clip to another without so much bouncing back and forth. The responsiveness could be a lot better. Not a big fan of the video player the app uses either. Besides that, Microsoft keeps giving me reasons to stick with my console! If vou're an Xbox user vou definitelv need this ann..

This is going to be a long review, but I’m no aggressively critical person, so please bear with me as I try my best... First of all, I think the update is great, and a new fresh start from the last update, but it’s quite clear you didn’t think this through very good. What I’m saying is that there’s numerous features you got rid of that completely ruined the aspect of this app. Many people only use this app to communicate with their Xbox friends if they don’t play the same games like Minecraft or Fortnite. The topic for this is that you got rid of ability to send pictures. I figured in the update instead of removing pictures you should add ability to send videos along with pictures. That would be a great upgrade. Second of all, profile editing... I honestly have no idea why you dismissed that feature. Many people only use this app to change their profile settings like changing their icon photo or adding a new bio. People also want to check achievements, and see what they need to get or something. I did this as well, and seeing that I cannot anymore really made me rethink keeping this app. Finally, feed. You can’t check people’s feed anymore, which I found interesting while I was bored or something. In all, what I’m trying to say is that getting rid of these features really put a low on this app. What’s the actual use of it now? I’ll keep it to connect with online friends, but there honestly isn’t any purpose of this app besides that and what games are popular and your friends are into. Adding these features back would be greatly appreciated by numerous of users of this app :)

The Xbox app is amazing the first time you see it. You can access you account on the go and do so many things. However, the app’s downfalls become apparent very soon. First of all, you need a wifi connection to access the app, it will not work with cellular data. So, the whole aspect of xbox on the go is completely thrown out of the window. Secondly, you’ll be very luck if you can actually use the app. For at least one week out of the month the app just doesn’t work. You try to launch it, but you are met with either a blank green screen or a n infinite loading wheel. I’ve tried restarting, redownloading, and even costumer support, but nothing can fix it. Over time it will just fix itself and one day you’ll try to launch the app and it will just work for no reason just as suddenly as it stopped working. My final issue it the built in keyboard. Xbox has a wonderful system that detects the keyboard on your xbox and allows you to type on your phone. This is great for multiplayer games with a chat system. However, like the app itself this feature is very spotty. Sometimes the keyboard on the app will just stop popping up and it won’t ever pop up for the next week to month. Then it will just magically fix itself again. There are also tons of little bugs that litter that app that at sometimes, makes the app completely unusable. The Xbox app definitely doesn’t deserver the 4.7 out of 5 that it currently has.

I’ve probably used this app for a couple years now I’m just gonna say I don’t think the app is really being utilized to its full potential at this particular stage. Simply put you’ve made a lot of mistakes with the app which I get is inevitable as far as trial and error but getting more to the point the notifications for the app when Xbox LFG was still accessible on the app was a minor issue. Instead of actually fixing the notification issue you simply removed LFG which was a big mistake since LFG was and will always be the best feature on the app because it gave easier access to Xbox LFG in the sense that we wouldn’t get kicked from game for being “AFK”. I mean the point of the app is make things easier on the player not harder I barely even use the app anymore mainly because the main reason for using it would be to use LFG but since that no longer is possible you essentially removed the reason for using the app at all. Notifications as far as that is concerned I don’t know what the issue is on that but I know it was somehow a big issue when LFG was still around even though it was a pretty simple straight forward issue that could easily be resolved I don’t think focusing the app on messaging is a very smart use of the app and I’d advise more efforts on pretty much anything else other than that for app usage. I know a lot of us no longer use it because of the updates to the app have restricted access to the things I mentioned and simply put the app is not of any use without LFG anymore.

I have already filed a report on the online verification process and I unknowingly didn’t enter my recovery email correctly when I initially input my recovery account and since then to my knowledge I haven’t even got a response to confirm weather or not that I could switch my recovery account to the actual account I have also I don’t understand how the account I incidentally entered could even work for the fact that the account doesn’t even exist to my knowledge at least so please get back to me this time so I can use this wonderful app. One other thing that doesn’t make much since is that when I do enter my Microsoft email and password it asked for my account to be verified due to it supposedly having suspicions activity but won’t tell me what that specific action was nor does it give me any information at all about my activity or action that caused my account to me removed from the mobile app when I’ve had my Xbox account for over a decade since the Xbox 360 was my only console at the time. If anyone who isn’t from the Microsoft staff that has incite or knows of a way to fix this issue because I’ve tried everything including going to the Xbox support website that didn’t even help only because I don’t remember much of what I entered when I first upgraded to Xbox one since that was roughly 8 years ago I have a Xbox year one addition with 1TB of storage that I got for my birthday. So please let me know how I can resolve this issue.

I’ve been trying to use this app for the three months but it’s a serious problem. The app has a bug where it won’t launch and you’ll be stuck with an infinite loading circle on your screen. After restarting the app well over fifty times it has refused to work so I tried reinstalling it and that didn’t work either. My second problem is that the party chat continuously cuts in and out making it incredibly difficult to communicate with people because I have ask them repeatedly what they said. I have a brand new IPhone XR so it’s not my iPhone. My internet is fine and I’ve even tried it with my mobile data and it still won’t work. I even had my friend try it too and he says it cuts in and out. Even when I unplug my head phones from my phone it still won’t make a sound until a few minutes later. Please fix this bug, it was working perfectly until a few weeks ago. You try to add new updates and try to make do more things but it shouldn’t need too. Your console is perfectly fine and your app was fine until you screwed it up. I love your console but there’s no need to try and battle with PS4 anymore. At this point its based on personal preference of the consumer and not whether the console runs faster or not. If they want a faster console then they can get the S or the X or the New one when it comes out. Stop trying to make change it. This app doesn’t deserve a 4.7 rating because it has so many huge bugs

Get used to seeing something went wrong constantly popping up on your screen, trying to join a party chat is the worst experience I have ever had with any social app. Half the time the party your trying to join doesn’t even show up when your lucky enough for it to show up it’s even more of a mess. You join the party screwing over everyone already there by making them have to reconnect they will either all disconnect or it will actually work. When it actually works the experience is awful everybody that tries to talk to you are constantly getting cut off the app showing that they are talking but no audio coming out. Then the nightmare of actually trying to start a party most of the time people can’t even connect to your party if you don’t get the “something went wrong” error message as soon as you press start party. Then there is the constant app crashes try to do too many actions to quick like a normal app Xbox app crashes. Try to stay in a party chat the app crashes in the background. On top of the fact that watching clips barely works with long load times for a 30 second clip and when it loads it’s very framey. What else the install button does nothing when trying to install something on your Xbox, sometimes your friends list doesn’t show up, with every update the becomes more unusable. The only good throng the app does is the remote (which no one uses) and looking at the community tab. If your mic is broken and you want a free alternative just buy a new mic because this app is useless.

This app is one of the most poorly written apps I have used. Microsoft is a fantastic company. The Xbox live functionality on their console system is superb. However, this app doesn’t function at all like its console counterpart. The “Active Friends” status is rarely accurate, even when you “pull down” to refresh status. My friends and I love to play Forza using a racing wheel. Since the wheel doesn’t have a headset jack, we use this app to talk. On console, we can join each other’s game or party without an invite. It just works. In the app, it will not. We usually have to text each other to send an invite. If you join the party on console first, the app will not allow voice communication despite being in the party. If you try and send an invite, it won’t allow it because they are already a party member. So you have to leave the party, text your friend to send an invite, then you can finally talk. If you accept the invite, and the app errors out (message saying “something went wrong” which is often does), you are forced to kill the app, reopen it and if you click on the invite, it will not work because the invite is no longer valid. So a party member has to resend the invite. 90% of out conversations begin with the phrase “Did I mention that I HATE this app?”! What’s even worse is this app used to work really well. It’s been horrible for over a year. This app makes Microsoft look bad.

If your an Xbox user or have friends who are and want to chat this seems like a no brainer of a download, but after having about a year , it hasn’t made the changes I feel it needs to. One thing they have sorely lacked in was the party feature which for me has been it works at best and god awful at worst since it can lag for no reason , wouldn’t let you join or create a party at times and worst of all when there is a party you want to join and the icon doesn’t appear for you to readily join. For me I’m frustrated with that since it’s one of the reasons I use the app in the first place. Using the PC version is better at times but I had it crash multiple times and mind you my computer isn’t over a year old yet and the components are up to date. But enough about that, messaging is one of the better features where messages actually work but the problem is sometimes it’s not live which I noticed they are working on a fix which is good to see they are trying to make it a better experience. But the worst thing for me isn’t even a feature but for some reason on all my devices I’ve had over the past 4-5 years I’ve had this app my screen randomly blacks out and you have to wait for it to come back on. Originally I thought it was my device but after having multiple friends tell me this happens to them and me going from a iPhone 6 to a XR and the problem is still reoccurring I believe it is a internal issue with the app. I feel this app can be better but it needs to work on its flaws. Overall I’ll give this 2 stars since well it’s a on the go Xbox companion and that surprisingly goes a long way

I used to be able to navigate the app before the new update. I didn’t know there was one until I checked the app after a while and it looked garbage. The categories are all messed up, I can’t even find the game I play in the search bar for games, because it’s another version of the game but this app used to show it in the search. I don’t even know where any of the old gamer point comparison sections went or are located, and everything is watered down in a way that somehow makes it more confusing. My library says that I have one game in it, though I’ve never bought the game it listed, and the library doesn’t list the actual game I’m playing, even though the game is listed as something I’ve played recently on my profile. I can’t even see who my followers are, because I don’t know how to get tothat section. All in all, this update was utter garbage. The older interface could be a little confusing at some points, but this interface is even more confusing and terrible than the older one. I also had a glitchy sign in, where even though I put the right password, and the enter password screen went down, it would jump up again after less than a second of actually seeing the app. I had to uninstall and reinstall the app to fix that problem. I wasn’t putting in the wrong password, it didn’t say what I was putting in was incorrect.

I feel like the both the mobile and pc versions of the Xbox app both are getting increasingly unusable, with persisting problems going as far back as 1-2yrs. On mobile there will occasionally be an update that will notify me of friends getting online that aren’t even favorited, or when I do get these notifications it’s when they are online but get on their mobile app too, and it will be happening for a week or more until the next update or two I’m guessing. On pc many friends as well as I have been having issues with party chat for the past year. At first I had to select a different input and output for party chat and reselect what I was using every time I joined a new party without fail. Now I also have an issue connecting to a party, where I’ll have to wait anywhere from 20s to a minute and still have to switch my input and output back and forth after I finally connect. The initial input and output problem has just recently started subsiding, but I’m still very annoyed with how long I have to wait to connect to a party. PLEASE optimize for these issues, I’m getting really tired of having to sit through problematic updates where even if one thing gets fixed something else ends up getting broken.

I only play Minecraft here and there with my friends but i had stopped for a while so i need to go redownload Minecraft as well as xbox. i expected i would need to sign in and so i did and i thought it was working but the pop up to sign into your microsoft account kept showing up. i would enter my password so many times and i would think it would work and it wouldn’t. i tried resetting my password and nothing happened. i gave up, but the other day i wanted to get on the app to friend request one of my friends so we could play minecraft. i opened up xbox and it asked me to sign in again but i had forgotten the password i had changed it to a few weeks prior so i changed it again and made sure to remember it. i said i would try again tomorrow. it’s the next day and i signed in with my new password and the pop up came up repeatedly. i don’t know what to do at this point. this isn’t the only thing too. the one tile i did get it working it was super laggy and it even glitches me out of the app at one point. the app is also hard to navigate, it used to be so much better. i don’t know what you guys changed but stop changing things like sending pictures in chats and making the app look prettier. just make is isabel and fix the glitches. it’s super frustrating and i just wanna play games with my friends. thanks.

There’s a ton of problems with the app in the new update but theres lots of other people writing reviews so I won’t take twenty minutes of my day to go on a rant about the app because honestly it’s not worth it. However there is one thing that I absolutely hate about the update and have no idea why they got rid of it. You Literally Cannot Customize Your Game Picture Anymore. Nor can you send pictures to people in messages. Normally I wouldn’t care about this since I don’t want to change my gamer picture, however one of my friends in order to spite me used this update to change my gamer picture and now I can’t change it back, I have to use a default picture. Which in fact is a real bummer. I like to have the freedom to customize my profile in any kind of social media. And no matter what you say Xbox is undoubtedly a social media, you can text, send game clips,(used to be able to send pictures), you can talk, and some other things but people don’t usually use these because Xbox is a console and is generally used for gaming. I can mind the glitches with the new update but I cannot overlook the fact that they have completely done away with a key feature in the profile customization. All in all I believe they should scrap this new update and revert it to the previous one.

There is a bug with the Xbox Phone App after the most recent update that was rolled out. While talking in party chat on the Xbox Phone App the sound will randomly cut out on one or more people in the party with you. You can still see that those people are talking, you just can’t hear them, and I have also confirmed that those people can hear you even though you can not hear them. It is not an internet issue as it happens to me whether I am on the wifi or (disconnecting from wifi and) using my phone data. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling, still did not fix my problem. Own a brand new iphone 11 I got for christmas and using the headphones that came with, so it isn’t that my phone/headphones are super old or anything. This was not a problem until the most recent update for the app a few weeks ago. This is as inconvenient as it gets for someone who relies on the xbox phone app to talk with friends in party chat while we play, and is so frustrating that i have almost had to stop playing xbox entirelt. To add to my frustrations i am running out of time to play EA access and Gamepass free trials with my friends because of this, and i know xbox is going to give me zero compensation for this. Strongly considering selling my xbox because of this situation if it doesnt get fixed SOON.

I’ve used this app for a long time, as it’s an efficient alternative to texting other Xbox players, and the parties come in handy if you don’t have a headset available. But recently those parties have been everything but convenient. Every time I join one, it starts to overheat my phone, and that’s the part I can live with. The part that irks me beyond comprehension is the fact that the parties are disconnected for up to 80% of the time you’re in one. Your friends can hear you and you can see from the ring around their pfp that they’re talking, but you can’t hear a word they say. It’s as if they’re mute when they’re not. This makes competitive and even casual games difficult to play with friends. Imagine playing a PVP game such as Apex or R6 and your teammates makes a callout that could save you. But the party was disconnected so you miss the callout and you die. It’s a frustrating experience, and it is more common than not. I don’t know what causes this, and I know it’s not connection issues because those come with alerts, and I have relatively decent connection to begin with. Whatever this issue is, it needs to be addressed if the app is going to continue to function properly.

I downloaded the Xbox App specifically for the remote play feature, but every time I fix one of the problems, a new one came up. (Bluetooth Controller connected to the (CONSOLE???) required then Bluetooth Controller needs to be updated then internet is “too slow” for streaming (which there’s no way to fix)) It said that I could do the streaming thing at home or something like that, but nowhere else. But my phone requires me to click ‘enable’ on the Xbox. But it won’t show up on the screen again. So I had to go to settings to try and test the connection again and now it doesn’t let me enable. And the first time, it said it could be enabled, but it never enabled. So then I try it again, then it doesn’t even show up on the screen. So I go to settings to try and manually do it. That’s when I come across all these different errors, forcing me to be unable to do it. I could get a 3rd party app for streaming and it would work better than this. By the way, I understand that I have over 600 ping when I play games, but if I wanted to download the Xbox App for no reason (since all the useful features are gone), then I would give this app a 5-star rating. But I downloaded it specifically for remote play.

Normally I wouldn’t write reviews but this app was ok until this morning. I was trying to go on the app and it had me put my password, not so bad right? I was ok with it but after I put in the password it made me do it again and again so I decided to reset my phone. So, after I did that I went back on to the app and it’s was super slow and it still made me keep doing my password, so I went to go log out but, after I push any button it makes me do my password AGAIN oh and I did try to push the cancel button but the Microsoft sign in thing popped up AGAIN. Now on to the update. I HATE it the only thing good about it is where the captures are but you can’t change your photo, bio, or location anymore, I mean you might be able to but I have looked over the map. I guess the online offline thing is kinda good but like it’s hard to remember if u have it online or offline without checking which is fine I guess but still. But also, the app takes way to long to load now it was fine back before the update happened actually it was WAY better before it happened, so even if you guys wouldn’t change it back please do and patch the bug that isn’t letting me put my password in.

Okay so I love this app I like texting hang out with friends ect but I found somethings annoying first off I get a notification when I get a text great it’s useful but….I all so get it when I’m in the app and it’s kinda annoying not that big of an issue but the one think I think is annoying is this: Okay so using this app you can send pics cool right? But it can be annoying too first off the settings need to be clearer I have one friend who can’t get pics because of his safety settings….but we can’t find how to turn it off….another thing is anyone can text you now I don’t like friending people I don’t know in real life I have never done it but anyone can text you so I get over 30 messages a day from random people (I don’t know why they texted me) and when I block them there’s this glich that adds them to my friends list!? It’s annoying because a blocked player joined my world because of this glich and it’s not appropriate for kids who use this app to play with friends some random person could add them and just talk with them please fix this I will be vary grateful

To start off I have tried to figure out how to contact Xbox about this by using the app support button next to download, it does not bring you somewhere to report an actual bug and is very difficult to navigate. 1. The biggest issue that is occurring right now is that party’s and Voice chats WILL NOT WORK they won’t even let you open them and just say “Something went wrong” this is highly annoying and I’ve signed in and out and uninstalled and reinstalled, Xbox app is what I use as an alternative to using a mic since the mic on your headsets decide to stop working in the early months of purchasing. The app is also connected to my console and disconnecting and reconnecting did not work 2. Second biggest bug which everyone has been having issues with for months yet you have not fixed it is where in the party people can still hear you but you are unable to hear them. Most of the time if it’s a party of let’s say four. You can hear one person at a time and every couple of minutes it allows audio of the next person to come through but shuts the other person off. The other half of the time you can’t hear a single person. Please fix this as you’ve been made aware of this for months and is ridiculous.

I made an account on here in 2019 I think and things were working well for me because the only thing I use it for is to connect with my friends on Minecraft. Thing is that a couple months ago it made me sign in again, but the password was incorrect, so I made a new one. Then, when I signed in with the new password, the white box went down and it looked like it was about to finish loading then the white box came up again. I put in the password again, then it went down for a bit, then it came up AGAIN. I was doing this for a minute or so then just gave up cause it was completely pointless. I sort of forgot what happened but I think I just went on the Minecraft app itself then logged in cause my account was already registered. The only problem I have now is that I can’t even load my screen on this app without having to sign in, wait, sign in again, wait, sign in again, and so on. (By the way, I did all of this months ago but here I am again experiencing the same situation) this is getting pointless and it needs to be fixed this is getting ridiculous I’m not sure if I’m the only one experiencing this but it’s really annoying.

The Update Is Generally Ok But There’s Way Less Features Then The Old One. For instance; You Can’t Change your profile Pic, can’t see achievements, can’t customize your account which is the main reason people use the app. Microsoft plz update it with those features please.

This app was amazing 5 stars before but this new update is terrible you can’t check your achievements, can’t redeem codes anymore, countless of other things, don’t fix what ain’t broken!

What idiot in your development team thought removing the remote feature and the ability to change the pfp was a good idea? Give me a name so I can tell them personally how stupid that was.

Remove option to add custom profile pictures through your phone gallery, a slower download process in video formats and not being able to see and manage game clips in the xbox one itself. whoever made these changes needs a demotion

The new update is cancer where can I change my gamer pic ? Also where is achievements the list goes on you fixed something that didn’t need fixing

It keeps cutting out

The new update ruined this app. The only reason most people use the Xbox app is to check achievements, change profile picture, buy games or put in codes. None of that can be done now, I don’t even actually know the point of the app at this point. Don’t waste your time on it now, it’s nearly useless.

Hi I use this app a lot and recently from the last two updates. The app well not allow me to upload my own gamer pic anymore. I keep getting a error message saying try again later. Keeps saying that every time I re-try over and over. Could you look into this please! Thanks! :) I use iPhone 11 if that helps for software.

This app is just awful. It crashes way too much, when you join a party it will not works for about 1 minute then it crashes, and on top of all that, there are these painfully slow transitions between the horribly designed interface

My nan came in to me wanking on the big screen and I couldn’t turn my Xbox off fast enough so I punch it and now it dose not work.

I can’t log into my account i stay stuck a the logging screen. I tried to delete and reinstall, wipe all memories and it still doesn’t work.

The app has lost every feature that the majority of people used the app for, instead you now get 5 pages of pictures of the 4 games you own and when you click on those pictures it shows you more pictures of the game you own. If I wanted to see useless pictures and advertisements I would have looked at my xbox home page

I used to use the app for purchasing games and checking my achievements. Please bring these features back!

The app is great. I use it all the time. But I hate being asked all the time if I want to rate it. So you get one star.

Super slow, watching clips is a pain in the arse, very glitchy and borderline unusable at this point. It’s been like this forever and you’d think a billion dollar company could invest some money into fixing it

“Message failed to send”, annoying gaming reward streak retention slop that can’t be turned off, if you open your own clip you can’t get out of it unless you restart this app.

Ever since i installed ios 26 i cant join party’s and use my mic

Booooo. Completely removed the ability to remote play through the app, and to be able to use your phone as a controller on remote play. For some people this is a big deal. The only reason I even used the app 😞

So I haven’t logged in on the app for a few months and now that I do the app keeps asking me to login over and over again it’s quite annoying

I got signed out for some reason, when I tried to log back in it kinda worked? I got my account but then it just kept asking and when I clicked that account it just did the same thing over and over again. ITS REALLY ANNOYING

Firstly, please PLEASE add support for lfg posts. I hate having to type out peoples name to invite them to a party. If i’m in a party and invite someone with a game clip on their main page is literally bugs out my mic and forces me to rejoin. Also when I try to join a party via notifications in xbox app. It takes me to their profile page instead of joining the party. This has happened on multiple devices which is infuriating. As someone who raids everyday in D2 and constantly needs LFGS. Please, fix the app.

By far the worst app on the App Store. 99% of the time i can’t do anything because it fails to load anything. Can’t join or invite to parties, can’t download clips and can’t message anyone. You’d think with updates literally every week, they’d be able to make this app run properly but that’s sadly not the case. Can’t think of a more pathetic attempt at a mobile app

Feel like whole MS eco system is so annoying and hard to use. App just keep saying “App want to use live.com for sign in” . You renter credential and same cycle starts again :( Then you finally try to go the XBOX website and now it’s says something went wrong. Why it has to be this difficult.

Well I don’t see a pin code on my tv where my Xbox is connected 👎

Every single time i click the app i keep getting kicked out in 1 second i tested it on both of my devices and i keep getting kicked

This is so laggy that my friend with no legs can walk faster then the loading

Ok so first of all why tf do u do a past due date In the first place like no one asked you to do that for us. And now we have to struggle just because you guys did something so stupid and so unnecessary!

I’ve had the Xbox app for a long time but ever since the new update, they’ve removed key features like watching captures, checking achievements, joining parties and more. Definitely considering uninstalling the app until they decide to add those features back. The only way you can use some of the features that aren’t included in the app is to go to xbox.com and check your Xbox profile.

It’s a waste of time now as Microsoft decided they wanted to take away they only useful features on the app me and my friends would sometimes compare hours or trophy’s and just overall achievements on a game through our phone now they’ve taken this away the Xbox app doesn’t have any function whatsoever for me anymore anything you can do on the app u can do on the Xbox

Why were so many features removed? its so much more confusing now :(

The login is messed up, keeps asking for my password because of sensitive information, the entire app is messed up & sends 5 messages most times..
