Great for quick snaps, one obnoxious flawI like this app for quick snaps that I don’t have time to mess with other camera apps that take too long to set up for some moments. But once you’ve taken 54 photos, you have to delete the app and reinstall to force clear the cache, or suffer an obnoxious warning asking if you want to allow MagiCam to delete the first picture taken off of all of your devices including the cloud, and you have to answer no every time. And that is horrible and causes it to become almost impossible to use. I’ve found less annoying apps that are almost as good and quicker to use because of that stupid feature and no ability to clear the photo roll without deleting the photos from the photo roll and everywhere. Please fix this, and include a setting that allows you to empty the roll in the app without deleting the photos, or deleting the app..SueBridesheadVersion: 1.4.1

Not working ever since the switch to iOS 12I’ve been having issues with this app since I downloaded the iOS 12 software to my phone. Every time I try to open the app it will freeze and if I take a picture with it sometimes it won’t save it. Great but needs to be reinstalled periodicallyTakes great photos but needs to be periodically reinstalled. You'll know it's time to delete and reinstall when the app asks if it's OK to delete a photo from your library after every photo you snap. Deleting and reinstalling fixes this. It is a wonderful photo app, however.....Photos are sharp and vibrant but it continuously asks if I want to delete a photo. Good Enough I Guess...I like it enough, and it was once my go-to quick-shot camera. It's to Camera+ what my Lumix point-and-shoot is to my Leica DSLR. This version fixes a few bugs and seems a bit faster. But there’s still that one thing keeping it from being 5-star. The screenshots say “one tap perfection” but in reality that one tap is done for you. TTT needs to allow turning the “Magic” off. There are times when the original unenhanced shot is actually better: in low-light situations with warm lighting or lots of browns and yellows for example (Magic made a shot of beef stew with plantains look unappetizing…in fact, it makes most food shots look garish). Seems like they opted to take that “On” button in the upper right off rather than make it actually do something. An option for full-screen trigger would be neat, too. Development seems to have stopped though with some bug fixes last month and nothing for over a year before that. It’s no longer on my phone, but some folks might find it useful..IByronVersion: 1.2

A RuseI'm surprised by this company. Camera+ has really improved so when I saw this new app I figured they created it to do something Camera+ couldn't. Well be forewarned this new app is all smoke and mirrors. Fun animations are all it has going for it. It has a few filters...and that's it. Really. Fantastic photo app.Let me start off by saying that Camera+ is an outstanding app. Quality pictures and editing tools make it a must have. That said, it can be overwhelming for the every day, nonprofessional user. Sometimes you just want a quick snap and you want it to look good. MagiCam does the job and takes out all the guess work. You can still add a filter and share to your heart's content but you save a lot of time in tweaking the settings just to take the picture in the first place. Great appI have taken about 100 pictures with this app so far, mostly of landscapes, and they are noticeably better then the default camera. Everything looks clearer, brighter and richer then with the default camera app. I am not a pro photographer and don't bother trying to edit photos because I don't know what I'm doing. This app enhances the photos for me, and in a way that even a novice like me can notice a substantial improvement. I use photosteams a lot and particularly like how all photos are automatically saved to my camera roll. Easily worth the 99 cents..TednrokVersion: 1

Fantastic AppTap Tap Tap has not let me down in the past so I bought the app the moment I saw it. I love the quick photo fixes. No need to edit most photos and when needed you can just open your photo in Camera+. I imagine some nice updates are in the pipeline. My only gripe but not one worth losing a star is the icon. It's not my favorite. Maybe it's the rainbow I don't know. But a nice update to the icon and I'll likely slip MagiCam into the home screen..@reznVersion: 1

Great AppThe app does work as advertised. And no, it's not a photo editing app. I love the idea behind a photo app that makes all the adjustments for me when I first take the picture. I'm not a photo expert. I'm not going to be a photo expert. I don't want to spend time screwing around with editing on every photo I take. This makes photos look better than when you normally point and shoot. I'll be using this for 90% of my photos because I just don't care enough about pictures of my cup of coffee to do any edits. Designed for kids?This app crashed the first two or three times I tried to open it on my phone. Closing background programs did not seem to help. Restarting the phone may have – it hasn't happened again since. However… offf to a rough start. Also, once the pictures been taken I found that trying to edit one sometimes gives me a blank screen rather than the photo itself. Good? The "moods" system is a nicely organized and more easily perused system than a long list of filters might be. It's kind of nice that it pre-filters your photos so that they can all be in the same "mood." They can also be changed after the fact. Bad? Slow with childish animations. Opening the moods wheel is slow. Selecting one is slow. Taking a picture is slow. Saving is slow. Now, some of this is undoubtedly because it takes some time to load the filters. However, that means you can not have the option of taking a quick photo. Making things worse, each of those actions above is accompanied by animation seemingly aimed at children, with a "Tinkerbell"-type feel (sparkles and such). Thankfully, you can turn off the sounds. However, it does not appear that you can turn off the animations. They get old very very fast. I'm only out $.99, so I'm not exactly up in arms. However, unless they improve this rapidly, I will likely delete it soon..NickSzuVersion: 1

Disappointing. Not what I expected from the Camera+ people.I immediately bought it assuming that if it was from Camera+, it must be good. The biggest problem is that you can't turn off or adjust the auto-enhance feature. There WILL be instances where you don't want it to auto enhance, but you won't know that until after you've taken the picture, so by then it will be too late. Sadly, the app seems to have been created simply to capitalize on the great reputation of Camera+.
