Scan Hero: PDF Scanner Customer Service

It’s not often I leave a review on an app, but I felt like this one deserves one. I’m an aspiring author, and had just finished editing my first ever book. I printed it out for my pre-editor to read (she does better with reading/editing when it’s in print), and the next day I logged back on to my computer work on a few notes I had thought of. Low and behold, my document was missing, likely accidentally deleted when I cleaned out my computer space the night before. One click - gone. Hadn’t even realized. Well, anyway, long story short, I tried a whole ton of scan to text apps, using the printed pages, now the only copy of the work left (all my backups went with the document, a horrible oversight on my part). None of the apps caught my attention and all were slightly annoying to use. Finally, I stumbled on Scan Hero, and, bam, all those annoying little problems were fixed. I just signed up for the three day trial and BOOM, everything was scanned in two days, nice and easy. It only messes up the formatting a little (missed indents, extra paragraphs), something I’m still fixing, but isn’t as bad as adding a lot of extra letters and popping up ads every two minutes (something the other apps did). People who complain about the app charging you after the trial are mistaken, they likely just forgot to cancel the trial. The trial goes right into the payed version, but I wasn’t charged after I canceled the free trial. TL;DR Literal Hero, scan to text so easy to use, no ads on payed version and very rare mistakes. Formatting problems, but over all much better than other apps.

I have had this program app for a few years and I love it. I can scan from my iPhone and immediately send through email, or other sharing methods without anyone ever knowing I did it from my phone. It’s has saved me countless hours of driving to a store or running home to my desktop scanner. 1) Scanning: A) After scanning a document I can change the heading of the document to whatever label I choose instead of the default date and time stamp provided. B) I can add multiple pages to create a package to send as though I did it with a desk top feeder. C) I can adjust scans after scanning to fix any issues outside of the margins. D) have a small receipt? No problem, it scans those as well. Paper Free - Digital Organization: 2) I am now paper free due to this app. I was tired of having to house multiple files and receipts. With this app, I can now organize all of my receipts and important documents in separate folders that I create and label myself. Completing my taxes has never been easier now that I have “go to” folders to review with ease. 3) It stores everything on the cloud or other back up if desired. Note: One thing I would like to change if I could is the ability to hold my finger down on any document within a folder and move the document around within the folder to my desired location. This would help immensely when organizing items within specific folders. Final recommendation: The free trial will give you a snapshot, but some things may be limited in use. I highly recommend downloading this app and learn how to navigate through it. I feel it is worth the money. I renew yearly. You won’t regret it.

Since you updated this app it’s been very difficult to manage. Please put it back the way it was and I will give you five stars again. But, leave it this way and I will drop it down to a -5 if I could. It’s difficult to know where to go to scan. After I hit everything a pull down menu shows up with scan at the very, very bottom. It’s a SCANNER to scan something should be placed at the top of the app not at the bottom of a pull down menu. I don’t like this app anymore. The scan button goes round and round about ten times before it clicks. I finally found the scan button but this whole app needs to be put back the way it was eight months or so ago before the update. It wasn’t broken — now it is — FIX IT, please!!

The app worked perfectly for an important document I was taking care of for my husband. Easy interface and capable of many mailing options including printing. I had 9 pages to scan, our printer wasn’t scanning so this was a great substitute. It only took a few minutes to do scan and send. As for subscriptions: READ people! Take responsibility for your decision- you really think this type of app is free to develop and keep up to date. I’m not a geek but I’m aware that I need to read about what they offer and their terms and all the information was there about the free use for 3 days and I had 3 days to cancel, and they were great about telling me where I needed to go to cancel. It was right up front.

I am well into my 6th decade & I’ve been scanning documents for well over 40 years...what a hassle but with this scanner App “the hassle is well over”. THIS APP IS SO EASY!!! It takes me about a minute to scan 21 pages. And I can scan anywhere in the world. the old scanner way, would’ve been two hours to scan two pages and I would have had to find a scanner somewhere or go home. My husband has been in commercial real estate for 40 years and we can work anywhere in the world that we want to and send our clients their needed documents. This app deserves 100 stars.

This is literally the most useful app I have ever downloaded. It is not a cheap app, however it is worth its value to me 10x. I needed to scan documents and was having so many issues with my home HP scanner. I searched for a scanner app and this came up. It recognizes the pages perfectly and makes it very easy to organize and save them. It has never crashed even a single time. What used to take me an hour now takes 2-3 minutes. I’m never using a standalone scanner again.

It’s a really great app! Gets the job done exactly how I want, zero issues. I have no interest in paying for this app and the functionality of the free version is great. That being said it is a little misleading because it makes it seem like you’re required to either pay or start a free trial (and eventually pay) to use it which isn’t true. There’s a small x in the corner of these pop ups but if you don’t know what you’re looking for it seems like you can’t use it without paying money or agreeing to pay money in the future.

Easy to scan and scans well. I’m by no means very tech smart so I struggled to send 5 copies to the same place. The tutoring that they offer only shows how to capture the image which ch is great, but to novices like myself, it’d be so much better to give more ‘how to information... HOWEVER, the developers left me a message following my review and it was super easy. Hopefully they’ve corrected the tutoring option for us non-techies... lol If you ever have any trouble, the app’s customer service is very quick to respond and help. Great app! 😃

Not sure who is writing these reviews but I regret this (accidental) pro subscription. This app is horrible at capturing VERY clear and defined pages. Wife has another app that was MUCH CHEAPER that’s able to capture pages on the FIRST try without having to hover over a page for days on end for this piece of **** to recognize it. Even still you have to go back into the image to trim the edges (which is upsetting given the obvious contrast between the black surface and the white 8.5 x 11 piece of paper. SMH. Worst decision of my life [insert face palm]

This scanner app is pretty easy with the one single exception, one cannot increase the size of your text when you want to review a document ! Ive tried everything I could think of but to NO AVAIL! I open a document to see what it says and the font is so tiny you can’t make out what the darn thing says! Example I tried to read a date on a insurance policy to see if the insurance was still active and forgot it!! I’ve tried emailing support and I hope they respond soon! Other than that I would have given it 5 ⭐️ stars! A NEW UPDATE! This scanner is now a FIVE STAR ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ app! With in minutes of emailing support I received a reply with the most simple instructions on how to increase the document in order for me to read it!! ( Im almost embarrassed as I didn’t think of everything to solve my dilemma... SO MANY THANKS 🙏🏼 YOUR APP IS AWESOME AND SO IS YOUR SUPPORT!!

Much more efficient than purchasing a scanner for home. Also serves as a file folder to always have with me. Extremely practical for a small business or just a busy person who hates the clutter of paper. Hasn’t had any meltdowns, is always ready and the ads on the app are discreet so you can still get the job done without flipping through the constant pop ups that some other apps have. Great deal for a free app!

As Graphic designer I scan very often, especially the illustrations that I sketch on paper then I need to refine them and color them so I scan them using ‘Scanner for Me’ app and I love it. Because it gets me. I usually need the outline in black color and it has the feature where you can actually makes it only black and white so the result is so easy to convert it to a vector visual and use it as the base of my artwork. Thanks for this great app!

I have 8 scan apps most have to many options making it harder than it should be for scanning a document or photo. This app scans, text is sharp, clear and saving were I want to save is easy. I have to give it a 5 out of 5. I haven’t purchased the paid premium yet. Have 2 more to test out, but doubt they have the simplicity to capture a document text as easy as this app.

I had to have a pdf scanner for a class and I did a few free trials on different apps and ended up getting a subscription for this one because it is so good! I had to take pictures of my homework pages in the car and even though all the pictures were super blurry and shaky when I took them, the results were amazing- all of my pages turned out so clear! Highly recommend

I have had this app for a few years. I have used it from Attendance Excuse sent to the kids school, to documents signed for business. The quality is is great and doesn’t have the blur that some apps have when the document is enlarged. And the ability to print from the app is awesome. I have not second guess myself down loading this.

This app has been a god send for a year, and now it freeze’s right when the method to select send by email,or whatever you want to select, doesn’t matter it’s froze and I’ve closed app I’ve deleted and reinstalled but no luck. If you need an app like this for business purposes sadly after a year of using I would not recommend

I think so far it’s a great app.! It was alittle of a bummer when I found out I could only do 5 pages a day, (scanned and sent pages) but it is easy to use and simple to send a pdf to someone. And I was very happy to find it and not have to go to office supply center! My printer burned up in a fire and I really miss my scanner printer. All in all it’s very convenient, but I do not like being asked all the time to upgrade!! And I have to be careful not to hit the ok and accidentally sign up! One day maybe?

I use this app so much as a teacher and also student. The only thing that is REALLY ANNOYING is the “auto select” (for lack of a better term). When I want to capture a page of something, the app automatically selects what it thinks I want to scan (9.5/10 times it’s wrong). It would easily be 5 stars if this feature was optional because it is so frustrating to try to scan the same thing again and again and again.

I love the app for the way it works and stores the information neatly and super organized. Price of subscription for full app is quite expensive for what it is and what I need it for You should offer to option one such as a subscription and second option $2.99 at to purchase for someone that is just looking for basically for better words a digital filing cabinet on his phone.

This program works really well and it is very effective. I’ve use it several times, and it is easy to use, and has good quality scans. I recommend this for anybody who has to scan documents from their phone and email them quickly.

This app is amazing. I am the foreman of a Drilling company. I have a lot of receipts and documents. I have to scan and keep files for this app helps me keep track of all of my purchases and makes all of my folders look professional instead of using pictures. I scan the receipts and everything comes out perfect.

This is a good app, but I too got charged because I did not understand how to cancel my subscription. This is more on the fault of iTunes than the app. iTunes needs to make the deletion of app subscriptions a more clear and well known process. However, it would help if apps like this had a “how to cancel subscription” notice so that users know to delete in their phone settings. Otherwise one feels like the app is hiding this info in order to scam.

I downloaded this app in April 2017. I paid a one-time fee of $4.99 for unlimited use. Initially it worked as advertised, and I was generally happy with it from a functional standpoint. However, I just realized that starting in December 2020–over THREE YEARS after what SUPPOSED to be a ONE-TIME purchase—that I began being charged a premium subscription for $9.99 a month! Perhaps I was “informed” through some updated user agreement or other notification in 2020, and if that’s the case then missing it is on me. But I didn’t even know that apps could suddenly change from one-time purchases to subscriptions, and I would certainly have hoped that a dramatic price change would have been communicated in such a way as to be obvious to the consumers what was happening. Instead, I was DEFAULTED into one of their most expense subscription options. So if you are the same way—and you don’t CLOSELY track changes in your subscriptions or user agreements/notices year over year —you should probably avoid this app so you don’t risk ending up in situation like mine, where I have incurred more than $200 in UNANTICIPATED CHARGES from when I first purchased the app.

I am very disappointed with the developers of this app. I temporarily needed this app to scan some paperwork for school, so upon opening the apps, after it gave subscription options, I chose the 3-day FREE trial. After I scanned the documents that I needed to scan, I promptly went into my App Store profile and went ahead and cancelled my subscription to be sure I didn’t get charged once the free-trial ended. All was well. A couple of hours later, I checked my bank account and noticed that my there was an apple store transaction for $43... mind you that it was a 3-day FREE trial and I was charged for a 1-year subscription to the app within hours. I never authorized this purchase and never provided and password, fingerprint or anything to verify or authorize the purchase. Overall, the app itself is fine, but because of this “scam” I would not suggest this app to anyone, nor will I ever purchase it again. I am not one to write reviews, but I am very upset and disappointed with this situation.

I do not recommend this app to anyone trying to get something done quickly, easily, and/or effectively. It’s full of bugs, crashes often, takes forever to apply edits and randomly reverts images back to their original form, and won’t let you send anything to yourself unless you buy their premium subscription which is ridiculously overpriced and used to be free. Even after you break down and buy the subscription because you have no time to do anything else, it takes two or three app restarts to get it to recognize that you’re a premium member and let you send anything. This app is a recipe for frustration and again I do not recommend it, but if you have no other way to get something scanned, I will admit that it EVENTUALLY produced a legitimate copy of a document I needed and so will probably do the same for you. Or you could just go find a different app that works correctly.

I couldn't make a single move with this app without being dragged to the App Store and having some random app thrown in my face. I've never had to fight through so much crap to execute a simple function before. You hold it above a document and once it's got it in focus, it automatically takes the picture and cues itself for the next page, and this function seemed to work very well, actually. Then, I selected three of the six pages (the limit of the free version of the app) of the document to email to myself. What arrived was the first page, followed by some blankness which it called "pages 2 and 3". So, the violent onslaught of ads, combined with its failure to include the three scanned pages that it claimed it would send in the email attachment earns it zero stars! I will admit that it was good at the scanning part. Maybe everything functions properly when you buy the full version, but the free version doesn't even do what it claims it will do, and that makes me sad.

This app used to be really great. it was very useful and convenient, and great for organizing business like documents. However it is greatly gone downhill by adding advertising much of the time when you try to perform an action. and now that the iPhone has allowed the feature of scanning it has made this application unnecessary. if they want to improve this app that need to bring back the one time purchase option. when this up first began you paid for it once and that was that. Now even though I’ve already paid for the app before, I am now being bombarded with advertising again. It’s like being sold a product of them being robbed of that product just because they feel like it. So take away the advertising. Some of us got actual business things to do.

I downloaded this app to take a picture and scan just one document. I deleted it right after and had my automatic renewals setting turned off on my iTunes account but still got charged. After being charged I went and double checked that I wasn't subscribed for another week and it seemed like I wasn't. I got charged again. I checked AGAIN and there is no "unsubscribe" or "cancel subscription" button. I contacted the support team and they responded with: A successfully cancelled subscription should have its expiration date specified, have no subscription option selected and no "cancel subscription" button available. --to my knowledge all this was and still is true and yet if I get charged for another week I will be so much more furious than I already am! This app is not worth the hassle of using once unless you don't mind it eating slowly eating your money.

I downloaded this app to scan 12”x18” documents for work. It helped me get the job done, so for that: 2 stars. However, the UI is not super friendly, there were some glitches when I tried to upload photos to my library, and the app processes photos with a high contrast filter. My documents were white and I took the photos on a black table as recommended. Still, the resolution came out not great. Why anyone would pay $40/year for a subscription is beyond me. I originally signed up for the 3-day free trial (which automatically enrolls into a year subscription if you don’t end it within 48 hours of downloading the app!!) It took me about 30 minutes to figure out how to end the subscription in my iTunes account. This could be a problem with iTunes itself, so I won’t blame Scanner. Anyways, would not recommend!

I got the app in order to take pictures of documents (of course) for enrollment for my benefits at work. I’ve used a docuscan through the Dropbox app and fell in love with the scanner. Unfortunately I can’t use the Dropbox to email docs from my phone so I searched for an app that I can just save documents to my phone. I was disappointed when realizing these apps require paid subscriptions but I downloaded this one anyway. I couldn’t believe the lack of quality for this app despite the requirement to pay a subscription for it. The document sensor is off and clips non document backgrounds and the quality of the image is lack luster. I was just as well off taking pictures of my documents with my camera phone with no app and sending them. Very unprofessional looking, I hope my HR department even accepts them.

If you are going to use this app to scan from camera or photos app, it will give you good image quality compared to other apps I’ve used not compared to a 600+ dpi scanner, of course. The downside of this app is it’s cropping tool. It takes me too long to crop an image nicely with their current cropping tool. It’s so imprecise you could only guess you are cropping the edges. I’ve mainly use this app to combine pages I scan with my desk scanner and to split pages into separate files. The app is awesome to combine files from different sources, not optimized to split files though, because you can only do it with one or two extra steps. Once they fix the cropping tool I will give one extra star.

App keeps telling me that I need to set up an email to send scans but does not give any place (that I could find) to set up an email address??? I need these files emailed to me so what am I supposed to do? Update: you need to go into your phone and actually change your settings for your whole phone which I personally think is not something I want to do. There’s a reason I didn’t have an email address connected to my phone. Also the app should have those instructions somewhere instead of leaving the user hanging. Just saying “you need to set up and email address” does nothing to help me. Especially since most functioning apps allow you to set up an email address within them. I think it’s poorly designed but whatever.

I downloaded this app last past summer. There wasn’t much I needed to send, and it ended up not working well for me, even when I added the free trail to try for better usage. Once that proved ineffective along with the poor organization of the app, the ambiguous layout of features, and the layers of fine print, I terminated my subscription and deleted the app. It was worthless. This last month, I noticed an odd charge on my bank statement. In spite of going into iTunes, canceling the subscription, and deleting the app months ago, I’d been charged for almost eight months!!! I reached out for help to end my subscription and seek restitution for this misuse of mutual trust and ethical dealing. This is unacceptable, and I see in the reviews that I’m not the only unfortunate drained by your parasitic app and its fine print.

Do not use this app! I downloaded it for free because I needed to scan a few things. I then deleted the app from my phone and thought I was done. This morning I got hit with a $40 charge out of the blue. This app relies on the fact that subscription cancelation is a separate process from deleting the app; it’s deceptive, unfair, and disappointing. The app is looking to swindle anybody who doesn’t spend their entire day reading the thousands of pages of user agreements we’re all subject to just for existing in a technologically sophisticated world. So much for good faith and fair dealing! My refund request through Apple was denied, and $40 is a lot of money for a grad student with no income. Bottom line: don’t bother with this app because it preys upon people who assume that the company is acting in good faith.

Figured there would be a free version like with some other scanner apps, but user is auto-enrolled to a subscription. Developer response here will be that it can and should be cancelled on my end. Here’s the thing. The app (already deleted) will show up in your “purchased” but if you go to cancel the subscription, as I have, during the trial period through apple settings, the app is not listed and no cancellation is possible within the trial period from what I can see. Instead, I froze my Apple Pay and payment information before this bait and switch operation takes $40 bucks. Run. I’ll deal with the adds from other scanning apps (which I was also already bombarded with in the 10 minutes of figuring out how to get rid of this app).

I downloaded this app for the 3 days free trial to scan and email a 1 page document. I don’t know if it got there as the app does not send a confirmation message. Nonetheless, I decided to cancel the free trial, surprise there is no option to cancel subscription or membership on the app’s platform. I sent an email requesting the cancellation to avoid being charged. You guessed right, I received no response. Now, my Apple wallet card has been charged 9.99 + taxes. I am using my precious time to send a 2nd email request to be refunded the charge and have the subscription cancelled. We’ll see if I get a revolution by end of 5 business days. Otherwise, I will dispute the charge with my bank.

App works decent for what it is: a way to take pictures and automatically convert to PDFs. I downloaded this app and agreed to the free trial period. When I read it, I thought it was a 7 day trial. It’s my fault for misreading, but there was no notification from my phone like other subscriptions that it was about to renew/convert to a $40 charge. Again, I misread, BUT all of my other subscriptions have alerted me and this one did not. It wouldn’t have been a big issue if it had been $5, but $40 is a MUCH different issue. Pretty unhappy overall with this issue.

I downloaded this app for the free trial, intending to only use once as a convenient option to a scanner. Upon using for the first time, I found that it would not focus in on the documents I was scanning and would not allow for manual capture of documents. It would try to crop out bits and could hardly capture the full document. I had to end up finding a scanner to make the scans come out correctly, so this was useless for what I needed. Also, the app will automatically subscribe for you to begin paying a yearly subscription ($39) without mention. So be sure to either change that option or delete your subscription on your account after a few days before it charges you!

I was charged for the years subscription when I only intended to use the app one time. I assumed the app would do the monthly subscription and I would cancel. I have contacted apple and they will not refund my money. App works fine, but a shady way of doing business. I was glad to pay for my usage, but I do NOT want nor do I NEED this for a year. It’s a shame no one is willing to help. Great app, but lousy support!!! I do not recommend. I take responsibility for assuming the app would only renew at the smallest subscription, but it only renewed 2 days ago and for a year. I don’t understand why this can’t be changed to one month and my additional money refunded.

Saw this app in store from ad and said it was free to try. I downloaded and installed and didn’t get to try it and was auto subscribed for almost 50 bucks. Only after that did I see that there was a no refund policy. Deceptive policy to say the least. They should give at least a week or two or limited trial before opting to buy. I may have like this app but had to give it one star due to taking my money without adequate notice there was no way to back out. Dev response is typical and inadequate. Don’t download this app unless you want to get charged after 72 hours, barely enough time to even look at the app. Total rip off!

I literally just needed to scan one document, but the app made me agree to the *optional* 3-day free trial and the $40 charge before I could even see the rest of the app. I was desperate, so I wrote down how it said to cancel and scanned my document. To be fair, it did scan pretty well, especially for an app. Once I was happy with my scan, I followed the instructions to cancel my subscription, but there was no “cancel subscription” in the app as was stated when I agreed to the trial. There is no way to cancel by computer either. I had to log into iTunes and go to “manage subscriptions” in order to finally cancel and avoid the $40 charge. Next time I’m just going to buy a printer.

Even with just its basic functions, this is a good scan app, but comparable to others. The best functions requires subscription to unlock, and that’s about $85 a year, or $6.99 a month. It’s way out of step with pricing for similar apps and functions. I tried about five Scan apps that had OCR or text recognition capabilities, or could be used together for same end result. Again great app. I’d give it 5 stars with its Premium features, but took two off for radical pricing.

I downloaded this app so I could scan my textbook so I do not have to carry it with me everywhere. Whenever I use the manual or automatic setting for recognizing pages, it ALWAYS zooms in on a small section of the page and not the entire page. There have been a few times it will focus on the entire page, but a majority of the time it’s a hassle to deal with. If you value your time, DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP. I should not have to spend several minutes taking a picture and then correcting the size for a single page when I need to scan 80 other pages. I also paid for the pro package to use the OCR, but the OCR failed to recognize more than a few words on my documents. Wish I could get a refund because if I had known this was how the app would function, I would not have bought it. The quality of scans is ok, which is why I give it two stars instead of one.

I signed up for the three day free trial. I tested out a number of documents on different surfaces in different lighting conditions. The app is useless. I had to resort to manually cropping each individual photo. Would rather use built in camera function than this clunky app. Worse yet, when I went to cancel, I had already been charged 40 dollars. The company has refused to refund me. Charging customers a full years’ worth of subscription for a product they dislike after a trial period is bad business and disingenuous to your own product. This is the first time I ever write a review for an app on the app store. That in itself should tell you a lot. I tried the “free trial” because i wanted to upload some documents. The free trial clearly states you won’t be charged until it ends, which is 3 days. The instant I started it i was charged, I tried to cancel the subscription through the app but all they do is send you to their contact support. I canceled the subscription from my apple id and i am hoping it canceled as you can see from other reviews, people still got charged after canceling. I do not recommend this app.

I used this app to scan notes taken in class and forward them to others. Until today, this worked fine. However, now, when I try and share documents, it will not let me. I’m no longer allowed to save them to my iCloud, and when I try and attach them to an email, it sends the email without the document attached. I’ve tried restarting my phone, I’ve tried resetting the internet, none have worked. And now that I have sent multiple empty emails to myself, it says I’ve reached my free limit. Avoid this app

I had tiny scanner (free vs) for several years that worked very well. Drawback was u could only save 2 docs at a time. It stopped working and only pro is available- but at least its only a one time five dollar purchase. This app instead charges five dollars a week if you want the pro version. Absurd. The free version has convinced me he pro is deinotely NOT worth it. Ok so it would eliminate the constant annoying ads that pop up constantly. But the real killer is it iust doesnt do well at scanning. It often cant tell where a legal size doc ends- cuts it short half the time. And he worst part is even when u play eith b/w or greyscale and the filters to try to get it as clean as possible for printing, it fails. Tiny scanner did a much better job. So when u actually need to print out a scanned doc, it looks terrible. A ditto mahine would be 1000xs better. Probsbly more like 1MM TIMES better. Will be deleting this crappyapp

This app is a scam. I accidentally downloaded this app and it said it was free. I have to use my finger print when downloading an app. I immediately deleted the app after getting it, because I did not need it. A few days later I get a notification in my bank statement saying I was charged for the subscription. I tried contacting support but said that I could of canceled the subscription before the trial ended. When I downloaded the app my finger print must of been “agreeing” to the subscription and I had no idea. Now I’m out $40 I’m so upset with this company. I only had the app downloaded for minutes before deleting it.

I like that I can do unlimited pages for a document. That feature is great. The negative aspects that are just driving me crazy, the auto detect doesn’t work well. I find I have to keep going back into the document and cropping it. Then the cropping tools, you have to scan, go back a page, then click threw a couple times to reach the cropping tool. VERY ANNOYING. I am doing massive scanning for my business and to have to go through this is rather tedious and I may just cancel even though I just purchased the membership today.

Honestly if the free version was the same but just let me email my whole document at a time, this would be a five-star rating. I would even pay like a one-time $5 to get that feature. But instead it only lets me share 5 pages a day and it’s incredibly frustrating. I rarely need a scanner on my phone. I certainly don’t need it $40/year bad. It functions beautifully but it’s crazy over-priced and the free version limits it to near uselessness.

Free version doesn’t do anything - except persuading to buy a full one; must be sued for a blunt lie

It’s a free three day trial and costs $60 a year to continue using. Not worth it if you don’t use this app daily! Looks helpful but not something you use for a once or twice time project.

App pesters the user to upgrade to full version after every individual operation is done on your document.

I’m sure it’s a good app, but why is it advertised as free when it’s not? Free trial then you pay for it.

This is very bad app . I installed it by mistake and they charged me with 60 dollars. This app is scam , i did not give my Card information, then also they cut my money. Please don’t install this app .

I cancelled the subscription right away when I downloaded it and they still charged me 14$ after two weeks.

I specifically wanted to use this app for OCR text recognition. It doesn’t work and is not shareable. You should be able to share the pdf, and have the text be saved as text not images. Waste of money and time.

Took my money after a I cancelled during the free trial. No response and trying to cancel again before the next payment is withdrawn. I’d like my money back please.

If you are not actually offering a free portion of your product, you should say so in the description. It’s a waste of time to download the app just to find out you NEED to pay. Just make it a paid app and don’t waste people’s time with a hidden 3 day trial!

Not free to use. Misleading

The quality of the “scanned images” are not very clear. The auto-straighten feature doesn’t appear to work as a bundled scan of pages are all tilted even though they were straight in the preview. The app doesn’t correct for it. I’ve tried better Camera Scanners. The one is not for me.

Accepted free trial (1 week starting Jan 22) and unfortunately forgot to cancel before end of free trial (cancelled Feb 2). Still got charged for two weeks ($22.85) instead of what should have been one week at most. No easy way to reach company through app without giving up privacy rights. Reputable companies don’t do this. Beware.

I want to cancel my subscription but it won’t let me without an email address…but there is no way to sign up for one. The email address I try to enter won’t work and they won’t let me reset a password…I try to reset but they don’t send anything to my email. I can’t make an account. It’s so frustrating. I just want to cancel my subscription.

Great app, works wonderfully. Can’t unsubscribe and it auto bills.

How do I delete this not what I want

Le capteur automatique tire partout. Le mode multi prend n’importe quoi. Le transfert par AirDrop plante une fois sur quatre. Et les fonctionnalités avancées dans le preview ne sont même pas offertes avec l’abonnement plus. Disons que j’aurais préféré ne pas avoir eu un renouvellement d’abonnement automatique. Quand prendre des photos devient plus simple que ton scanner, ce n’est pas bon signe.

L’orque vous vous abonnez, il devient impossible de résilier l’abonnement. Le paiement se fait à tous les mois et ça ne se cacelle pas! Je recommande de ne jamais s’abonner à cette applis.
