A very useful tool

If you are diabetic, you need a continuous blood glucose monitoring system. I’d have a continuous blood glucose monitoring system, it should be a Dexcom g7, as it is the best on the market. If you use the Dexcom continuous blood glucose monitoring system, you must use the clarity app to collect meaningful trend data about your sugar history. It can change you life. T has changed mine. I wish I’d started using it four or five years sooner, as doing so would have prevented a heart attack — and maybe I’d still have ten toes. My a1c has gone from 13 to 6.2. I give all the credit to proper use for g ozempic, Dexcom, and the clarity app. Take care of yourself. Stay healthy. Don’t die. Someone in this world loves and needs you, I promise.

Benefits of Dexcom clarity data summaries

Provide a summary of daily weekly information on one page for comparing information that before I could only obtain over a 24 hour, or by taking pictures of each day and saving them. VAGP allows me to. Trend and swings from day today over a multi day. It helps by providing a record of where your blood sugars have trended or varied over a long period of time. This is very helpful in being able to analyze trends or things that mask, trends and lead to bad control. It takes a lot of work out of how I used to have to do this. It is easy to use and provide some analytical tools to help even further.. Thank you.

Life Saving

My doctor placed me on Dexcom, because I crashed twice during the middle of the night at levels of 35 and 39 which we all know is deadly. Since I’ve been on Dexcom, I’ve avoided crashes due to the alarm. I make better decisions as I can see my current blood sugar reading. Customer service is out standing. Many times I have had human error while applying sensor. The representatives have replaced my sensors each time. My sister is on Libre they don’t have the same policies and they dont provide replacements like Dexcom. I love this product. So happy my physician connected me with Dexcom! I highly recommend this product! Ask you Doctor for Dexcom!

Fantastic Experience

You guys have done a very good job. I love the Apple integration and the reports that you generate. The most valuable report is the overlay report with the icons at the bottom and the glucose graph at the top. It helps me understand why my glucose is raising or lowering based on my activity or meals. In my opinion, this overlay chart is the most valuable of all the reports and you should look to generate it by default. Currently, its value is hidden and someone has to generate it. Fantastic app, thank you! The all in one place and the two way integration with Apple health and watch is super important. Thank you for giving a holistic overview.

Pretty good so far, but missing one thing

I’ve been using the monitor 2 months. Clarity is pretty easy to use, but it seems to be missing one thing; the ability to choose specific dates for the report reports generated. I’ve been sick my glucose numbers are all over the place. I want reports for the first month of my use, but can’t seem to generate them solely for that period. The averages generated with the 2 to 90 are skewed because of my three weeks of illness. Checked the website all over see if there’s a place This, but haven’t found an email or a customer service # for support of this app. Hopefully it developer will be able to answer my questions..

New to CGMs

I have just started using a CGM to help me understand my glucose levels better. Really like this app for the statistics and historical data. Suggestions: it would be nice if I was able to adjust the top and bottom numbers of graph for the daily report, allowing me to better visualize the fluctuations within my personal target range. Also, a great add to the daily chart would be the high, low, average and fasting glucose… on the daily report… rather than using the daily statistics - which averages the days when there are more than 7 days included in the report. Thank you for this app!

How i like the clarity app

I have type one diabetes and this app has changed my whole life and the way i control my diabetes. This app is great and so is the Dexcom app to whoever has diabetes please use these apps thank you for whoever made them!! 💯💯 If you have siblings or family members who also have diabetes then please consider using the Dexcom follow app as well. that app lets you follow their blood sugar’s and comes in handy! As i have two siblings who have diabetes one is my sister and one is my brother and this app is so very helpful!!!

Good product needs a little improvement

The tool is great to get a sense of where you are at for glucose levels. Things like showing the correct timeline when viewing 90 days are what makes a great app not so great. The timeline on the 90 day graph says the correct dates but shows the bars shifted in time into the future. It does not match. Also would be great to give a range when there is a standard deviation for the GMI with a range instead of one number. Makes it seem like that is the number when it is not. Also would like to have it be able to export the data.

Health events log self-deletes

I am a new user of this app, and after carefully entering my health events for the last few days (insulin, carbs, exercise), today I logged in to find that all of my events have disappeared. It says you can find previous events on the Dexcom Clarity app but, although they are mentioned in the user guide,I couldn’t find them. After speaking with tech-support I discovered that the health events are there, but they’re hard to find. You have to go Reports and click on Daily to generate a daily report, and then you can see them, but there is some delay between what you enter in the DEXCOM 6 app and the events that show on the Clarity app.

Diabetes history in my pocket

During my 70 years (1952) of being a T1 diabetic I have seen it all when it comes to technology of T1 diabetes care. Clarity, giving me both immediate and easy access to my Time in Range as well as A1C, is an excellent aid. I also find it remarkable that I can now immediately look and see my pertinent sugar numbers that a short time ago I would’ve needed blood to be drawn at the medical facility. This new ability strongly encourages me to try and better my numbers when they dissatisfy me.

Meal delivery

I have been struggling to deliver insulin to cover my meals. Finally I used the Clarity’s daily graphs to compare my deliveries. I printed a few of my “star” meals that worked and wrote how I delivered (extended or not)and what I ate. I suggest one eats the same meals and makes different deliveries until it works. The graphs has also been updated/enhanced. It’s very easy to read and comprehend on my progress or fall back. Overall the developer is doing a very good job to meet our needs.

Overall good

I like the way this technology works over all. It's pretty hands off and tracks in good detail. However, I would like if there was a way to make personal note that is not listed. I would like to be able to make a personal note like when I've done everything to correct a high but it won't go down, or I tried my beat to estimate carbs for a dessert at a restaurant but I still went high. This would help when talking to my provider to be able to check why my blood sugar might have been high at a specific time.

Great App - How About Formatting for iPad?

Dexcom is the best we’ve got, so I can’t complain. The app works well for me, and I like the options, screens and reports. However, it would be a much more enjoyable experience if we could see it formatted for horizontal view on the iPhone and for iPad, also in horizontal view. The limitation of having it only in the vertical view is that the font is difficult to read. I end up using Sugarmate to view the data only because I can see everything so much more clearly! But I like the data and reports in Clarity better... thanks!

G6 System

If I could give this system a 10 I would. After using this system for my diabetes understanding and control, I wish I had it 35 years ago. My A1C has consistently been below 6.5 versus 8.0 to 10.5 since I started using this system and understanding how different food reacts to my blood sugar levels constantly without poking my fingers for blood 30 times a day. Thank you to the Dexcom team for the great work and dedication. Myles

Surprisingly enjoyable to use

I am finding that even on days that don’t exactly go to plan, I can meet my goals more often than I thought possible. My diabetes educator told me I was doing much better than I thought I was doing. He said that meeting my goals would allow me to live longer and healthier. A great outcome that I had not expected since my diabetes stopped being more controlled. I very much like using my dexcom6 app.

Valuable data and feedback

This ap when connected with my G6 CGM provides a huge amount of data that can be reviewed and analyze multiple ways to help one see , better understand, and ultimately better manage ones control of diabetes. I set personal improvement goals and have the ability to see my progress. The A1C reading is consistently .1 % higher than my actual blood lab results.

Terrific reporting and trendspotting

The Clarity app does the real heavy lifting for the Dexcom ecosystem. All of the reporting and trending is amazing, with trends and graphs and really helpful displays that turn the raw data from continuous glucose monitoring into something much more informative and actionable. I wish the Clarity app had native iPad support; all of these reports could really benefit from the increased screen real estate. Other than that, though, it’s pretty much perfect.

HardviceVersion: 2.22.0
Data Reporting

I really enjoy how consistent this app is and how the different reports layout is to make navigation easier. My only wish list item is under the daily reporting. It would be nice if I could log the Blood Glucose when I am creating an event. What would really be nice is to categorize an event as Breakfast, Lunch, Snack, Dinner, High, Low, etc and one tile under the daily report that gives me that category with the Blood Glucose, Carbs and Units. The reason for my feedback is that I have a young T1D who struggled with logging the information separately and the daily chat for past days makes it difficult to be accurate on what her Blood Glucose was two days ago at 10:32 AM. I am detailed oriented and guessing wheaten ie was 175 vrs 180 is difficult. No other feedback and other then this one item I strongly recommend this app to others.

My clarity app worked beautifully until a few weeks ago. Now I don’t get any reports, only the muss she “ not enough data“. Can someone help me out? Love my G6

I switched from G5 to G6 fall of 2019 and have had very few problems! So far only two G6 have failed to work correctly never stopping only asking me to calibrate with strips about twice a day! But DEXCOM was quick to replace those two! Thank you DEXCOM as have no physical symptoms to warn me about lows, so the warnings remind me and drinking a SPRITE works quickly to raise me out of trouble!!! Very happy and looking forward to more upgrades and easier monitors in future.... Judy in Rockingham, VA

I had a CGM for a time about 10 years ago and wasn’t very impressed. I’m giving it another shot and so far have been blown away at how helpful the clarity app is for me. EXCELLENT INFORMATION...

...that helps me closely control my glucose levels. Makes me aware of exactly what my glucose levels are 24/7. Aids with more accurate carb counting. With other meters, I could never completely control my glucose levels. My last meter was a Libre 2. Thaw accompanying app was pretty useless. I’ve been a type 1 for 61 years. This app is an amazing revolution in diabetic care. Don’t know what I’d do without it.

Report date ranges

I am using the Clarity app to track blood sugars and I am in need of sorting my data out by the month. In the app I don’t know how to select the date range for the data I want to look at. This function does work through the web page. On the web account I can sort data by month (April 1st to April 30th for example). Are there any upcoming options in app to select date range for data?

Great companion!! Love it. ONE request though!!

This is the reason I choose to do the Dexcom Stelo over the counter CGM. So I could look at this data. However, because I am not actually diabetic, the graph scale is too small to decipher what’s really going on between the 70&140 range. Please allow us to set the scale or allow us to set the scale to dynamic so that it shows a scale appropriate for the data displayed.

Was Great While I Had the Tandem X2

I’m hoping to see integration in the future so I don’t have to have multiple apps (Dexcom G7 AND Tandem Mobi app constantly running in the background) for Clarity to receive data. I’ve loved the G7 with the Mobi so far but I’m missing Clarity! I’d love to know if there’s any plans to fix this in the future.. but regardless, I love the Clarity app because it’s nice to get an idea of where I’m trending BEFORE I go see my endocrinologist lol

Wow!

I am a diabetic in Canada who in the last 6 months began using DexCom with this app. I really had my doubts—not about DexCom, which has improved my blood sugar to the extent that my physician is boggled—about its ability to “predict” my A1c levels. Last week I has my first lab work in 6 months. Clarity said my A1c would be 6.3. And the lab confirmed this exactly! What a game changer… to be able to look at an app and see exactly how you are doing. Yes, this works in Canada.

Dexcom Clarity Negative Reviews and Ratings

Need to have user defined reports and formats

Reports are generally nice, but not quite enough for me. I’d love to see more customizable reports in formats such as *.csv files so I can download raw data to my computer to create my own charts and graphs that will be more useful for me. For example, I’d like to see how my sleep is affected by glucose activity and how my eating choices several hours earlier enters into the equation. That data isn’t shared between Apple Health and the G7 app. Same goes for other things like skin conditions that can only be tracked manually to see if/when glucose levels may be implicated. Our bodies contain dozens (hundreds or thousands?) of systems that do not work in isolation. Update: I discovered there is an export to csv function by logging into my account on the website. Sadly it’s only partially useful as the raw data doesn’t include meal text or details regarding activities. So to get the info I need, have to get glucose data here, then download custom reports to PDF, which then need to be saved as spreadsheet files, edited to remove unnecessary data and formatting, then merged with the glucose data file. Just include ALL data in the export file, please!!!!

Less data available in recent update

I used to really love to review the AGP report from the Clarity app because it had detailed information regarding time in each blood glucose range. A recent update simplified the time in range information to be basically the same information on the summary. I used to see the actual percentage of time in each blood glucose range to the tenth decimal. Each .1 of a percent is 1.5 minutes! Now the AGP report removes the less than one decimal information. For example the old report would say 0.2% below 55 mg/dl now it would just show <1 for the same data. Why can’t I have more detailed information on the AGP report anymore? I love the app but liked it better when it had more of my data available to me. Hopefully this can be brought back. I already completed a support ticket right when the update came out thinking maybe the data just got moved. I learned then that the data I was looking for was removed not just moved. The change was a choice made by the developer. Per the suggestion below I put in another service request. I also removed a star because I doubt doing the same thing I did before will change anything.

And EntryVersion: 2.21.0
Does the bare minimum

Best I can say is that it’s adequate. The basic monitoring information is here. Detailed information that would be useful for understanding results and changing dosage or behavior isn’t included. The information is not presented in a mobile phone-friendly display. The reports are neither attractive nor user-friendly. The display is particularly frustrating. Unable to zoom and hold any particular page or graph to review - the app keeps snapping back to the top of the first page, even if you keep your fingers on the screen. Information is not available at a granular level. For example, the only two places where you can compare readings over time (say, morning fasting levels) are the overlay - which displays in a sideways orientation, so almost impossible to read; and the AGP graphs, which are tiny, can’t be zoomed and held for review, and don’t include any time or meal/activity/meds/notes data. The app seems solely and minimally designed to confirm a diagnosis and treatment plan. It does NOT provide information which would be useful for making helpful lifestyle and behavior changes; or present information in a clearly understandable or visually appealing way. There are several other CGMs with apps that present more detailed data in much more useful; more easily read and understood; and more attractive displays and reports. I recommend that any prospective user of a CGM review how the collected data is presented and the reports available in the app compared to others BEFORE filling a prescription for this particular brand.

Dexcom has been Horrible

This app is a total disgrace! After spending $500/month for these horrible sensors, the performance of this app is very poor. It will beep loud and you can only turn off alerts for a certain period of time. Lack of features. A children’s game have more reliability and rich in features then this app. The sensors randomly fail on iPhone. Good luck getting the sensor to link with Apple Watch. CVS will no replace the defective sensors and the Dexcom support gives you a very hard time to replace the defective sensors. Did I mention that the app is horrible? Over two years using this product and highly unsatisfied. I’ve seen next to no improvements in these two years, used it on iPhone 14, 15, 16, and 17 Pro Max. Ridiculous app, shame on these developers. Something is definitely wrong with the executives who lead these developers. ZERO VISION! ZERO LEADERSHIP! I DO NOT recommend DEXCOM. I wish a better company replaces their marketshare.

App is good enough for my purposes, but needs improvement

The app displays my sugar accurately enough (usually within 0-15 off) and works on my iPhone without crashing. One thing that I would like the Dexcom app engineers to reconsider is how the urgent low alarms work. I am in a situation where I need my phone turned on, but all noises and vibrations to cease. This app put my in a very embarrassing situation in front of my boss’s boss; to make a long story short I ate my glucose tablets and corrected for my low sugar before attending the event mentioned, but the urgent low alarm went off 3 times during his speech before I had a chance to turn it off. Please for the love of God let us silence those low alarms completely. I understand the liability aspect, but putting a simple disclaimer would prevent any potential law suits. Thank you for reading.

Works but poor iPad support

The app does a lot right, in particular the option to link your data to your healthcare provider, GMI reporting and more. I’ve found this app to help me my manage my T1D and improve control. Downside is there is no real support for iPad. The app appears to be optimized for iPhone only. The biggest problem I’ve had is it nearly always takes a full 24 hours to calibrate new sensors with results varying from 30-50 mg/dL from my meter throughout the day and night before finally settling down. New sensor days almost always feature “sensor night” where I’m sure to get false alarms on both highs or lows. While Dexcom is good about replacing failed sensors, I’ve had multiple failures over my first nine months and they take a long time to deliver replacements. I’ve experienced 40 minute wait times for support but that seems to have improved recently. If you happen to be near the end of your supply and have a sensor failure, that can leave a gap in coverage. I’ve also had a transmitter failure which not only left me without coverage until a replacement transmitter could arrive, but this wasted the sensor it was paired with.

Locked out of in sign-in over tech issue

Locked out in sign-in over tech issue. Tried fill out support form on-line. Fields are too short to explain even with severe run-on sentence to reduce character count. My problem is; I set up G7 app and all works well. I went to sign in to Clarity and am stuck at entering my email address. I keep my email address as an IOS keyboard shortcut. I entered the shortcut (which worked fine in the G7 app) and it did not expand. I tried to back space to fill in field manually. Backspace wont function. I tried to place cursor at beginning of field—cant place cursor. I fully closed out of app and re opened Clarity app but shortcut characters are still there. Cant fix field. So email field is filled in with shortcut and i cant make it go away to manually fill field correctly. Im stuck. This is an IT issue with the creators of the Clarity app.

Dysfunctional

Having lived with T1D for the past 54 years I’m amazed at the technological advancements I’ve seen over the past 2 decades. Dexcom CGMs paired with semi-closed loop automatic insulin pumps like Tandem with Control IQ are the best game changers yet! I’ve gone from G5, G6, and now G7. And I had such high hopes for this latest but not greatest upgrade. The G7 itself is flawed, typically provides sporadic & inaccurate readings for the first and last days’ for 4-6hrs! The app itself provides great information in many different levels. But its calibration feature is ridiculous! Rejecting 80% of finger-stick BGs calibration attempts. I also don’t understand why one must pair new CGMs on both the Tandem & Dexcom apps when these devices are paired together?? I do like that the Dex7 app allows for QR scans for new sensor pairing.

IPad Support? Nope! Useless features? Sure!

The useful bits of this app would be perfect for native iPad support for the same reasons you don’t usually paint or write music or essays on your phone. I want to see everything. Instead I get to see very little. I have no idea why the "percentage while you were in range metric" is even there, much less why it gets top billing. I think it’s worse than useless in the same way frequently measuring how much you weigh gets in the way of losing weight. It doesn’t tell you what you are doing right and what you are doing wrong. It doesn’t help you understand how to do better. It only needlessly adds complacency that you are doing good enough or anxiety that you aren’t doing good enough. It doesn’t tell you why your diabetes does what it does which is kind of the point of a continuous glucose monitor.

The data provided is great. It would be nice if on the daily report you got the average glucose for each day and long with the events. But my biggest gripe is you can’t go back in time. You should be able to pick a date and then get a report based on that date. I would like to be able to go back in time and run a weekly report for each week. It seems crummy to have to remember to run the report each week and save it so I can go back and look at my progress. For what you pay for the device you shouldn’t have pay for a separate app to get this kind of flexibility.

Dexcom Clarity

Just started using Dexcom yesterday and discovered the clarity app today by accident and really happy to see the detailed data it provides. Will be extremely helpful in managing my diabetes. It would be really nice if Dexcom could provide average glucose for each day, as well as a 90-day one with a translation to approximate A1C number. My finger stick 1-touch reveal was able to provide my average and equivalent A1C in the comparitor with flexibility of inputting A1C from the bloodwork which provided a clear picture of how accurate the finger stick data (4 times a day) was compared to a 90-day A1C. Dexcom has so much more data (every 5 mins) and intelligence, so easy to do. Regards Amit

Very poor app

The Dexcom glucose monitoring app works fine but clarity is horrible. I have to install and reinstall and change the password every time I try to access clarity. I have worked with Support and with Reddit threads to troubleshoot all of the possible reason why this could be happening, including making sure my iPhone language and keyboard match my location. Very frustrating very disappointing. I don't even use it which is a pretty dismal thing when you're trying to manage your diabetes. I look at my reporting through the Tandem software. So many opportunities for improvement. This is a known issue and it does not seem that Dexcom is attending to users needs. I'd give it a zero if it was possible.

Technically deficient

My major complaint with this app is that it keeps kicking me out of my account, forcing me to log back in, and every time it freezes during that process. The barrier to use is very high. It has limited utility too. It’s biggest is behind-the-scenes to link to my endo, but because I was logged out the data didn’t upload so my last appointment meant he had nothing to assess—and I had no way to know I had been logged out unless I checked back in to see the limited suite of things the app could show me. In short the app cost me $125 copay for a worthless endo visit. This app needs to be far easier to just log into. Enable MFA, or tether to Apple ID.

Slow, illegible and redundant

This is a ridiculously unnecessary app needed just to view your food and medication entries and even that it can’t do well. There’s still no log for your food and medication entries so if you want to see anything resembling a logbook of activity, you have to load the excruciatingly slow “reports”. The reports are minuscule PDFs for your phone. (PDFs do not belong on phones!) But even if you had a magnifying glass to view the teeny-tiny reports, the daily report — the only one with a semblance of a log — doesn’t actually tell you what your entry is. You get a jumble of icons, but no details. All in all, this is a pathetic app I would love to uninstall.

Doesn’t record very well

I really like this app when it works, but I have long periods when it shows no data. The interesting thing is that the Dexcom G-6 app also loses data, but not at the same time. I also have the t:connect app from Tandem which rarely loses contact with the CGM. I sent a request for support to Dexcom and their response was that I should contact Tandem for support. When I contacted Tandem their recommendation was to delete the app and reinstall it. This was done, but the problem persists. If Dexcom responds to this rating I would hope they are willing to step up to the plate to help solve it. After all, it is their app and their CGM.

App doesn’t properly work

OK, I used to really like the app but now you have issues that need to be fixed and nobody’s fixing them not not everything is correct down there used to give basic Guide of the A1c that hasn’t worked in almost a year. You need to fix the issues on there because I have better tracking on my Dexcom G7 and Tandem app than this anymore. you need a major update and all these reviews. I’m reading her for a year to two years ago. What is up with that? What are you not doing that you should be doing? Please fix it.

This is too complicated for a phone app

Lots of reports that you can’t read on your phone. Even though they claim to have an app for Mac they don’t. Only for the iPhone. And you can run reports all day and never be able to compare two data points from two different days e.g. 9pm Thursday and Friday. Not being able to see more than 24 hours of data points is ridiculous. Why gather all this data and not allow the user to see it. The UI on both the G7 and the Clarity app need to be available for the Mac and all of the data needs to be available as well as be able to be seen clearly. Not a fan.

I am no stranger to technology...

My 2 year old daughter is diabetic. Not only can I not easily connect her Dexcom G6 so that I can see it through the app, but it also says I’m the patient. That part cannot be edited, (it’s in the profile section) and when I input my daughter’s info so that it says she’s the patient, it tells me account holders have to be over 18. :( You should be able to easily choose who is being monitored for diabetes (especially sine I’ll be sending this to clinics) and despite me creating her a ‘dependent account’ I still can’t hook up her CGM or even tell the app that she is the patient. And they use this for clinics! And yes my phone is compatible, I have the iPhone XS.

No data notifications

Experiencing far more notifications of No Data which is also shared with my spouse’s Dexcom Follow app. My iPhone and Dexcom receiver are next to each other, less than 5’ from me while sleeping. This is disruptive to our sleep! The alarms sent to the Follow App are crucial because I cannot hear while I sleep without my hearing aids. As I have received 2 defective sensors recently, I’ve learned to keep the box & applicator on hand (instead of throwing them away) to verify which sensor did not work correctly. I’ve also seen that Dexcom is working to resolve issues with the update to iOS and we may experience glitches. Sure hope this gets resolved ASAP. Sure hope that Dexcom is making the case of necessity to health insurance for Type 2 Diabetics who experience LOW glucose readings. It’s a battle to get Medicare insurance to pay for these important devices.

Inaccurate Information

At this point, I’m not sure if it is something that I am doing wrong or if there is a problem with this app. However, I tend to lean towards the second choice. Clarity does not match up with the information in Stelo. Clarity will report to me that I was in range the prior day for 100% of the time. However, Stelo will say that the exact same day that I was in range for 100%, Stelo reports that I was in range for 91% of the time. In addition, I visually verified that the information does not match up with each other.. Thank you in advance.

Unreliable

My sensor regularly stops working. Sometimes before it quits I’ll get an alert that my blood sugar is dangerously low. I used to believe it and eat sugar to raise my blood sugar to soon realize after checking my meter that the sensor was just faulty resulting in 300+ blood sugars. Now I manually check it when it goes low just to make sure which is a hassle. I’ve been using this for years and have never went one full 10 days without the sensor malfunctioning. It seems like with as much as they charge for this device, they could make it work properly. Or change the name from continuous glucose monitor to works when it wants to monitor.

Dexcom Clarity and Dexcom G7 App Issue & No Help From Tech Support

I started using the Dexcom G7 on June 17, 2024 and absolutely loved it for the first month. I had no sensor issues or app issues, and I found the reports and data that I received from the Dexcom G7 and Dexcom Clarity apps to be very useful. My issue is with customer service/ tech support and the engineering department, I have had a mixed (but some would say awful) experience with Dexcom customer service in each of my attempts to get this issue resolved. Issue: On July 10, 2024 I performed the recent update that enabled Dexcom's 'Direct to Watch' feature and I paired my Apple Watch Series 6. Everything appeared to be working fine until I noticed that the reports on Dexcom's Clarity app were no longer populating. The Clarity app stopped receiving my data on July 10, around 10AM. This is the same time period that I was performing the update that would enable the direct to watch feature and pairing my watch to my Dexcom G7 using the Dexcom G7 app. I downloaded the reports from the last 30 days on July 16th from Dexcom's Clarity app, which shows the exact date and time when the Clarity app stopped receiving data from the G7 app. I did not realize that the data from the Dexcom G7 app was not being sent to the Clarity app until late in the evening of July 9. I was still receiving data on the Dexcom G7 app. I called Dexcom's tech support on July 10. A representative had me follow some steps to delete and re-install both apps and warned me that my data would be deleted but they should be able to retrieve it once the apps are re-installed and my dexcom G7 is paired. I was told it could take up to 72hrs for data to start showing up on the Clarity app, and if it didn't to call back. My data from June 17 to July 10 is gone from the history section of the G7 app and the Clarity app still didn't receive any data after 72hrs, so I called back. Over the course of 2 weeks since my first call on July 10 I had mixed experiences with Dexcom's tech support reps in trying to get this issue resolved. It is July 29, and the Dexcom Clarity app is still not receiving data from the Dexcom G7 app.

Terrible now WHY DOESN’T IT WORK WITH G7

I used to love this app, but then something changed. Maybe an upgrade? Recently, rather than just opening up when I clicked the Clarity icon, I was asked to enter my user name and password. Nope. I was told either password or user name was wrong. But I used my IPhone password function. But I persisted. I used the “Forgot” password or username feature. Using one I was able to get a code from Clarity. But the code didn’t work. Using the other option, no code. As I can’t use the app, it deserves ZERO stars. Can someone explain why an app that refuses to work deserves a ONE star rating. Please have it work with G7. The G7 version has Clarity built in it, and it is ultra terrible with the stand alone version of Clarity, please fix it. Thanks

In order to see the data, you have to load one or more reports. This is a slow process. Frankly, I should be able to see high level trends in the Dexcom sensor app, rather than have to navigate to another app, load a bunch of reports, decide my dosage and navigate BACK to the other Dexcom app to enter my insulin amount. Dexcom needs to integrate some of the Clarity functionality with the sensor app, then trash Clarity altogether. Horrible UX design and CX.
