Thanks KCS84If it were not for KCS84's post below, this was going in the trash. I bought this to replace an Accurite station, install is super simple. Documentation does not exist, there are no instructions for recommended mounting positions. I had the same issue with my setup (Airport Extreme) 2.4Ghz and 5 Ghz both on, the station would connect to my wireless, but the app never indicated so, it would always show fail. Per the info in KCS84's post, I disabled the 5GHz on the router, and the app worked instantly. I re-enabled the 5GHz and still works just fine..Granny_37Version: 1.2

Says it won’t connect to WiFi but ignore thisThis probably took me three hours to figure out but in the end it worked. I tried everything to get the app to connect to my WiFi including turning off the 5ghz part of my router but it continued to say it failed to connect. Finally I discovered that as long as my phone and my weather station were connected on the 2.4ghz frequency of my router I could just ignore this and click the back arrow (top left) and move onto the next step. No ProblemsI’m puzzled by all the bad reviews. I had no problem connecting my La Cross station to WU, and it has worked flawlessly so far. I suspect some people are not waiting long enough for their stations to connect. It may look like the app is continually requesting information about your network, but just be patient, it may take a while for your station to appear on WU..4x4XtrmVersion: 1.2

Got it working!It took a couple calls to La Crosse, WI, but we figured out that I needed to use the 2.4 Ghz radio only. We have Aruba 205's so I made a new SSID named Lacrosse and set it to only use the 2.4Ghz band. After that, I had to disable ARP broadcast blocking on this SSID to proceed to step 2 on the app..KCS84Version: 1.2

Successfully connected to WUI was able to successfully connect to WU. Not sure if this helps anyone else, but just wanted to share, I connected my weather station to Wi-Fi using the La Crosse View App. After my station was connected to the internet, I then used the Weather Connect App to connect my station with my WU account. Do not use the Weather Connect app to set WiFi Device. I did not enter in my WiFi password into the weather connect app, just the PWS and Key. I first made the mistake and used my PWS ID and my WU login password. This was incorrect, I needed to used my "Key" that was assigned by WU as my Password. Without that key, WU will not allow data to be uploaded. It did take about 40 minutes after using the Key instead of my password before my station status updated to online. Still Doesn’t WorkDespite using the proper frequency on a mobile device, the app fails to recognize the 2.4GHz network, thus you cannot connect and move forward in link your PWS with Weather Underground. Further, the app is broken- when using other functions of the app, such as registering for a PWS ID from Weather Underground, you get the message: “An unknown error occurred, try again.” The apparent problems that plagued the app (as many have mentioned prior) have obviously continued to; the Weather Connect has not been updated in several years. Won’t work if your network has 5GHz channelSame issue everyone else is having. Except in my case, I have a modem/router that is managed by my ISP, so I have no ability to login and control it. Therefore, I cannot disable the 5 GHz channel, which means that this app will not work at all for me. Very disappointed, as sharing my weather station on Wunderground was the main reason I spent the $80 to buy the weather station. What’s extra disappointing is that the regular La Crosse View app works just fine, so clearly they have the ability to support the product. They just choose not to update this app or integrate its functionality in the La Crosse View app..AlaskanjackalVersion: 1.2

App needs fixingConnected to 2.4 WiFi, presses the +- buttons together on the weather station to search. Entered in the WiFi password on the App, got “success” message, but then goes right back to the start page. Wunderground suggest holding the 2 outer buttons on the station to reset the station and try it. Nothing there. Something wrong with App, I think LaCrosse has given up on fixing? WU connect doesn’t workStation set up and devices added fine. Went to WU to register new station. Got this app to connect. After you connect to your network successfully the app loops you back to find your network again. It never advances to the next step. Have deleted reloaded and tried for two hours. Hardware is ok. Connect Device to WifiInstructions to wifi need to be much clearer. All that needs to connect device is to hold + and - buttons together until the wifi icon blinks. Then enter password if you are password protected then hit confirm. First page on app helps you set up the device ID and key. Then wifi icon will stop blinking. You are connected. Unable to UseFortunately I read enough reviews to avoid wasting too much time in this. The app didn’t give me the available wifi networks to pick from so I couldn’t enter the password it kept requesting (I could but there was no way to change the network from “wifi”. Shockingly terribleI’m at a loss for words. The experience of using this app is simply awful. The apparent requirement of a 2.4 GHz network means I’ll have to do some reconfiguring of my network and even if I do it sounds like there’s a good chance this still won’t work.
