As a Truck Driver I rely on a dash cameraI was once falsely accused of driving recklessly and aggressive in December 2015. My supervisor was able to pin down the day, time and location of my “supposed” infraction. He reviewed the 3 minutes of video and determined I had done NOTHING WRONG! Since then I have not been without a DashCam. I have tried at least 5 styles by different manufacturers. This ROAV C2 PRO and the app that can be downloaded to a cellphone is my top pick. #1 I’ve captured video that helped others!!! One which determined who ran a red light. Domestic violence in a parking lot. And a streaker in a parking lot. For myself my ROAVC2PRO helps me be a more focused driver. A better driver. Because I know my speed and direction traveled is being recorded and displayed on playback. I don’t want to be the one at fault. At the push of a button the previous 10 seconds of an incident and 30 seconds after the button was pushed, will be saved has EMERGENCY recording. This featured has allowed me to share many videos of drivers making bad decisions with company Safety Departments. This C2PRO has very clear picture. Zoom in and pan more left or right while watching video back. Audio can also be recorded. Easy to install and mounts using suction cup. Saving and Downloading specific items to your cellphone gallery is easy. Viewing and Deleting unwanted items also easily done from phone app or the dash-cam itself..Version: 4.2.0
Love it!!It’s image quality is clear, wide enough angle, quality build, functional app and device menu screens, simplistic in the best of ways, neat extra features and excellent mounting kit! You can tell from the moment you begin opening up its packaging that Roav is on another level from the other “affordable” dash cam products out there. Everything about it feels like genuine quality and it operates with equal impressiveness. Set it and forget about it until the moment you need it, that’s exactly what I wanted the experience with a dash cam to be. It turns on by itself when you start the car and a simply unplug of the cord when your getting out of the car is all it needs. You can simply set it up, let it do its thing and have faith that the image will be clear and useful if ever you need it to verify unfortunate events that may occur on the roadway. Severely DisappointedUpdate: We contacted Roav the next business day and the fellow that we talked to was very helpful. He gave me the instructions to update the dash cam, via the computer. Everything works like it is supposed to now. We have had our dash cam, with this app, for a few months now. We have loved it from day 1. Since this latest app update, we have not been able to download videos from the dash cam, from either of our phones. We do so on a regular basis. My husband sent them a message a few days ago, from the app itself, and have yet to hear anything back from anyone. Seems that the dash cam and app are really not worth having if you can’t download the videos to your phone when you want to or NEED to. Please fix the app..Version: 4.0.2
Great value and quality.While there are less expensive units that will do the same job, the ease of setup, efficient interface and features create a very good option for people looking to purchase a dash camera for the first time. ROAV has created a well made camera, with great features, at a reasonable price which allows drivers to feel more confident and ‘covered’ in the event of and accident or unfortunate occurrence by another driver or pedestrian. The video quality is very good, and is only short of ‘excellent’ due to but of glare that would prevent accurate images of incense plates, in certain circumstances. Adió and video access is simple through the use of the TOAV app and the videos are immediately available for download and transfer. Saved me thousands!The dash cam and app has saved me several thousands of dollars from damage repair and car replacement. I bought a Roav dash cam a little over a year ago. The app has worked flawlessly since day one with little to no hiccups. I’ve had two car incidents since I bought the dash cam. Recently, my car was totaled, and the person who rear ended me placed the blame on me. I was able to download the footage from my dash cam to the app before the police arrived on scene. I was cleared from accusations and I didn’t pay a cent with insurance claims. I think I’m sold on Roav cameras for life, the app is dependable and reliable when you really need it at the last minute. Roav A0Just installed my new Roav A0. Which is the same as the Roav A1, but packaged for sale at Walmart. So far, I'm very happy with the quality. And for the price, it can't be beat. If only there was a live view through the app, that would be great. But, I'm still giving this 5 stars because I knew that before I purchased it. Do your research. Know what features are important to you before you spend your money. Not knowing that a specific feature is not available, is NOT the manufacture's fault, when there are so many reviews online. Good productI’ve had my dash cam almost a year now. I didn’t spend much on it and got more than I expected. It works very well. Only thing I hate is I have small car and every single bump such as closing doors washing windows sets off the parked collision auto record that also locks files. So I have to manually go clear them up frequently . I have the sensitivity as low as it will go but I don’t want to turn it off so I deal with it. Other than that it has been pretty flawless and I can see the video well even at night. I record In 720p..Version: 4.0.5
Car and Truck awesomeThis has to be the best mobile video recording system out there trust me I’m a Truck driver and I have this in my Concrete Mixer Truck too and it has awesome video and sound I gave one to my wife too I work hard and I want my vehicles to be safe even when I park them so the parking feature caught some one trying to mess with my car and lol as soon as they saw the camera they walked away highly recommended to anyone and it’s way easy as heck to set up all I do is format the sd card once a month or so and I’m back to loop recording.Version: 4.0.9
Overall a great dashcam.Surprisingly well designed and functioning app, I did not expect it to be this polished. Fairly easy to use, I recommend the Roav lineup to anyone I can knowing the support and functionality of the app is up to par. The app while having some hiccups here and there works very well with the cameras I have (C1, C1 Pro), the download speed for wifi enabled devices can be a bit slow at times so I recommend having a 1min limit for clips..Version: 4.1.0
Best cam everI have been using dash cams for seven years now. This is the best so far. Easy to navigate menus and buttons on camera. The Wi-Fi is why i purchased this a1, had an issue connecting at first " my fault" had to update my phone to latest operating system, then it worked great. Having the video upload to your phone to show law enforcement is huge. Crisp video that i tested with reading license plates, and you can zoom in on your phone with your fingers. Works fairly wellI’m on ver 1.9 and everything works as advertised. I connect my iPhone to the camera and can play the videos on my phone. I have the A1 model camera. The videos are very clear. My only knock is when downloading over Wi-Fi takes a few minutes even on the 3 minute video captures. I guess you would only want to pull one anyway and if you wanted all just remove memory card and put it in your computer..Version: 4.0.4
Excellent camera and appThe camera works flawlessly in the vehicle. Connection between phone and camera never fails. Application never crashes. Videos download at a decent rate ~4mbps with wireless connection. This app is why I bought this camera- I hated having to connect the camera to my laptop to view or download. Live viewIt’s a great unit, I wish they had a software download for a live view when away from car. But let the unit keep recording. Plus a notification if something is trying to mess with your car. Plus It’s to bad they don’t have a rear camera that works off WiFi or a cord that goes back to main unit. The best customer service everI bought last year a Roav and it broke so I bought another one. The first one I didn’t buy warranty second one I got 4 years warranty. So I had no idea that they have 1 year factory warranty so I used my Roav app to connect with them ( they answered in 5 seconds 😃) so Kevin was helping me as customer service assistant so ( he was great) so he fixed everything in 10-15 min so I will receive my new one in 5 days. This setup is super easy use!!!I’m a professional driver and for this app and the camera is an excellent device, easy to to use as well moving files and protecting them is easy. This camera for the fraction of the price of many other cameras, this camera is the most reliable. Worked well for a while.I’ve been using this product for almost 4 years. It worked well for a while. I was able to connect my phone and pull videos from cam to phone over the WiFi function. That ability no longer works. I’ve checked for updates and the app says it’s good. But, if I need to download a video clip, I have to pop out the card and insert it into my PC. Good Dash cam needs very good suction cupOverall I am very satisfied with my c2 pro but the suction cup is not holding it correctly. I had cleaned my glass and suction cup couple times no luck. So far it has dropped twice. I am waiting for support to respond on this. I will update the review once I receive prompt response from them. My rating will be 3.5 as I liked the magnetic mount for Garmin dash cams and would love to see something like this for this cam as well..Version: 4.0.4
Reliably functionalVery happy with the cameras and very happy with the app. The app is simple, user friendly, and reliably functional. Haven’t experienced any glitchy behavior. Definitely not one of those cheap knock off brands that promise everything and deliver on nothing. The Roav DashCam AO camera is the best for the money. My favorite feature is the wifi. Access all the videos on your phone, on the fly, in the car, etc. Watch, download, lock videos so they don’t get written over. Got this for my wife. Easy to use and keeps improvingOnce you've enabled the wifi on the Roav dash am and connected to it from your iDevice, using the app is a piece of cake. The one thing keeping it from 5 stars is that it still has to occasionally buffer when playing back videos directly from the dashcam. However, since I really only use this feature to figure out which clip I'm going to download anyway, it's not a huge deal..Version: 2.0.2
Good but I missing thingsI would have given it more but 3 stars means that it meets expectations and it does. The app does what it needs to do just fine. A few things though. I would like to see a list view with length of video clip instead of a gallery/tile view. A desktop app with same graphic overlay as app would be awesome. Download using WiFi takes a long time. Files are 1GB and larger and I only get 1MB or less. So taking out the card and using my pc is a preferred option..Version: 3.0.2
Useful tool to monitor your speed and driversIt’s a useful tool to remind you to slow down when you watch the videos and it’s great at recoding road actions and possible accidents. Best Dash Cam!I went trough couple of dash cams in the past. This is the best easy used dash cam that I found to be amazing. All the recorded files can be deleted in seconds, download clips from Camera to your phone in no time. No need to take micro chip anywhere for downloading. WiFi downloads are easy. Good camera, terrible Wifi modeThe camera itself works well. I’ve got one in 3 of my vehicles. Unfortunately it’s a pain to get videos off the device over its built-in Wifi. I spent 20 minutes in the parking lot waiting for a video of part of my morning commute to download; it finally reached 0 seconds remaining, and immediately showed “download failed, try again later.” Extremely frustrating..Version: 4.0.8
Great ProductReceived as a Christmas gift for 2019. Easy to install and setup. My only suggestion would be a Bluetooth connection that would auto connect every time you go in and started the device. Worth the $$$I have had several dash cams over the years , cheap ones and not so cheap ones, my last b4 this was a falcon . It was a nightmare. I inherited this one from my son when he got a new one. Everything works but one thing...I can't seem to get the videos to appear on the app. I sent in my dashcam thinking it was defective, received the replacement and the videos came up one time only and hasn't again since that one time. Not sure what the issue is, but the Anker C1 dashcam is well worth the hassle. I can still remove the micro sd card if a video is needed. A good appI had to use Kingslim’s app to see just how good the Roav app is in its intuitiveness and ease of use. The dash cams are a great value, work flawlessly with the app typically. On occasion the app needed a restart right upon opening. But, overall, I have enjoyed using it. There is literally no need to spend more either. Love itI received the C1 pro cam as a Birthday gift. Easy to install and use. The app loaded on my phone and iPad with no issues. The cam has a lot of great features for the money. Roav dashcamHad this app for a lil over 2 yrs now and it will not let me download even tho I have the space to download the videos or pause the video anymore. I hope by deleting and reinstalling it’ll fix the issue. Also wish you can view the live record from the phone as well.Version: 4.0.9

Great little cameraI love this little dash cam. My only complaint is that I can’t watch smooth videos from the app. I have to take the card out and load the video to my computer to watch more than 3 sec at a time. Videos are constantly freezing and buffering in the app..Version: 4.0.4
