Golf Swing Speed Analyzer Customer Service

For me it works better as a very slow speed playback swing review/analysis tool. Recording and playing back every swing to determine each swing speed becomes tedious. But for $3 it works well at giving you an idea of your swing speed and much cheaper than instant feedback radar devises. Use the directional arrows, by tapping your finger on them, and you can analyze your swing frame by frame. I was initially frustrated by using the finger slide to find the exact frame to set the 90 degree and ball parameters to measure swing speed. Then figured out you don’t push on the double arrows, but tap them quickly to refine the exact frame you want or to see your swing in super slow motion.

Crashing problem when I first got it but may have been associated with iOS 14 release around the same time. I emailed support and received a nice email back a week later stating new version with fix dropped. I installed and app working great. Thanks to Will for being responsive. Fun little app. A suggestion: maybe have an option to just put club number in addition to inches for club length. Applicable to standard club length. Q

Good App.....filmed 3 slo-mo videos, 3 swings each video for a total of 9 swings at driving range, followed instructions and all my swing speeds were within 5-7 mph of each other. Slider button didn’t work very well but tapping the forward and backward double arrows worked fine to capture the 90 degree and hit the ball frames.

Easy to use. Didn’t notice the frame advance buttons at first but sent an email and he responded right away. Can’t compare it with anything else but reading I got seemed about right. Good value.

I posted a 1 a little earlier and referred to the app as trash. But I was wrong and followed more accurately. It actually measured it properly. Sorry for the misunderstanding. I would recommend it. Thanks.

Easy to use. No other equipment needed. Consistent and straight forward. Golfer can also easily see his or her swing technique.

Great app, first time I saw my swing. Now if it could only recommend how to increase head speed! Lol

This seems to work pretty good.

I first said don’t buy, doesn’t work. But in reality the directions make the app inaccurate. The 90 degree position makes it sound as though your first reading is at the top, the second at hitting area. This method will result in very slow swing speed reading. The most accurate way to describe how to measure is below: Picture yourself as a clock, the head is 12 o’clock. The first position reading should be taking on the DOWN swing when the club head reaches 9 o’clock. The second reading is when the club reaches the ball for contact. I’d like to thank the app developer for reaching out to me in response to my first posting which was negative. Fortunately, I figured it out, math does not lie, it was just frustrating using the directions supplied. I’d recommend describing the measurements as I have above, simple to understand. The app works, keep in mind the readings are subject to how precisely you are in your measurements. If you are careful with it will give fairly accurate measurements, keep in mind this is not a replacement for Flightscope or Trackman, both of which cost $$$$. I’m working with a Speedstick Golf Training Aide on increasing club head speed, this will work for that application.

Straight forward, well designed app for calculating your club head speed. Clear instructions and the developer is quick to respond to any issues you may have. Hit em long and straight !!

Had confusion on how it worked takes some getting used to. Once I emailed them I got an immediate response and they clarified everything I needed to know. I don’t know how accurate it is but the three readings I got were with in 5 mph of each other.

Bought this app today and within 30 minutes (including an email with question for developer) was getting consistent and reliable swing speeds. Easy to operate. $3??? Fuggaboudit!! Great buy.

Great app, easy to setup. Works okay in 120fps but is better in 240fps.

Very easy to use and seems to line up with real data

Swing speed seems to be pretty representative of what I am actually getting on the course. Hopefully I can use to help pick up some speed 😁. Easy to use. Recommended. Couple small quirks.

Great app! I mean for $4?!?? I wasn’t using it correctly at first so I emailed for support and got a response in minuets. Not only does it read your club head speed but you get video feedback as to where you are loosing/wasting power in your swing. Great stuff. Jay Clennan 12hcp

App fails to analyze my video despite following the instructions. Tried several videos. Sent my concerns to support. Got two responses with questions. Following my second response to their questions I haven’t heard anything since and that was four days ago. Hoping they’ll refund my money. I am upgrading my review to 3 stars. Still couldn’t get my videos to work, but the developer did get back to me and provided a way to request a refund. I’m bummed that the app didn’t work for me but glad it is working for others.

For the price this a great APP to give you a rough idea of your swing speed. The cheapest device out there is $500, eithe pros spending $20,000. So, at $1.99 this is pretty good. It’s also a great way to view your swing frame by frame.

Rewind and FF controls are really frustrating. At 240 FPS, I can easily use the slider to the 90 degree position. But taking my finger off moves the slider a good 50 frames in either direction. So then I have to tap 50 times to get there. Too much work for something you want to measure a few hundred times per session. Once that’s fixed, I’d love to give it another shot.

Incredibly tedious to video yourself in slow motion, then upload a video, then manually analyze your swing within the app. Also software frequently does not work even after correct instructions are followed. Not worth it even for 2.99$

Does not give me the correct swing speed. All negative numbers. The calibration dial is to touchy. Very hard to get the two frames and my iPhone is set at 240.

I put in length, and both points on film, keeps telling me I have to input length!

Keep asking questions and not getting a response.

I used the slomo on my iPhone 11 ; followed the directions completely; I got 80mph swing speed; I knew that was wrong; tried four other videos; got 80mph; then my pro took me over to her track man and got an average of 98mph. Maybe it was user error on my part. ? ? To readings : 90degree to ball then at impact. I want it to work because I need a reliable swing speed monitor. Two stars cause I know the developer is trying hard.

I have had my swing speed checked at a golf shop and this is not even in the same ballpark.

Horrible doesn’t work not worth the price of the free app. If you’re other apps are this bad I feel very sorry for you. Because of this app I would never get your paid apps

I used the recommended 240fps slow-mo video, and it showed I had a 58mph swing speed. Went down to the local golf shop, and found out I have an 85mph swing speed. This app was a waste of my time and money.

I’m getting speeds of no more than 14 mph. When I try to contact them via the app or App Store it just shuts down the app and says the page is broken. I HOPE SOMEONE CONTACTS ME TO HELP.

Just bought and tried the app. Couldn’t get the app to work. Tried clicking on the tutorial and it didn’t work. Asked for my money to be returned and hopefully it will.

You would expect that the app would film you swinging and then spit out your speed. You have to upload a video, and mark when your shaft is at 90 degrees (parallel to the ground) and when you hit the ball. It then does a rough calculation and gives an inaccurate speed. My swing speed is usually 100 mph, this app said it was 65 mph. Also, all older reviews were deleted, which is suspicious. I think the few reviews available were written by the creator. Don’t waste your time.
