This app works very well and is quite accurate on human physical anatomy. I would like to see this app upgrade with even better visual pictures though. The quiz is fantastic (although the grammar should be looked over by the creators of the app, as some words were incorrectly spelt). I think this app is very helpful for someone with advanced knowledge in this subject, but would probably prove a bit difficult for a beginner in the study of anatomy since it's more of a practice guide to review the human body functions. -So if you have a high interest in biology and you're currently learning the subject, this will be a major assistance.
Loved when I was a student. Loved when I was a tutor. Love post graduate. Helps to educate my family and friends and also refresh and remind me when needed. Easy to use, grouping and systems easy to understand and study as well as add your own knowledge on as a study companion/visual aid one can quickly pull up at the tap of a finger. This simple but detailed app is a must have even if you choose to pay for a subscription A&P app. You won't regret it! Wishing you a wonderful and successful journey in your education!
Excellent for learning a lot before starting A&P. Working on getting my Bachelors (BSN) and this has been very helpful for refreshing for exams throughout the semester! There is a lot more pinned & labeled than we go over in lab or lecture, but every professor and University is different so I feel this will be helpful across the board. Also great to have on the phone to keep the memory sharp. Give it a try. You can't beat free and if you don't like it, just remove it. But I think you will be happy with this app.
This app is very comprehensive! It not only shows the pictures and you can rotate them, but you can touch the "i" for a short or long version description of that part. It includes Grey's Anatomy and all systems. For the common person it may go into too much detail, but for curiosity, or someone interested in anatomy to quiz yourself, or teach yourself- Exceptional! Thank you for creating this!!!! I'm learning and hopefully get my kids to learn this early!
This app is very helpful, especially if you are in a biology or anatomy and physiology class. Not only can you view the picture of the human body, you can also rotate them to view them from every angle and touch the "I" icon for a quick or thorough explanation of that specific part of the body. It goes into detail very well and makes studying for biology tests a lot easier.

I'm going to be taking anatomy next year, so I figured it would be a good idea to get a head start. This app has been great at helping me learn names of a ton of bones, organs, and muscles. It only missed the 5 star mark because it lacks some interactivity. If they added an interactive quiz mode for the ID sets, where it could focus in on the incorrect, and a few other things like that, then the app would be perfect. Nevertheless, I would recommend this app to anyone interested in anatomy, particularly since it is free.
This is an amazing free app, has a lot of interesting thing thing that you want to learn about the human body. Not all the body parts are labeled so you have to go to the opposite side of the muscle or bone to see what's the name, but it's just the little thing that catch my eye I don't really know how you may see it but I think they should just fix that little small problem
I just started nursing school and I feel sooo overwhelmed already. I don't have modules of my own to look at so I was really freaking out on how I was going to learn where everything was. Then I found this app and I feel a lot better and know I can be confident now. I'm beyond happy that I found it! Thank you so much for making this and for free!
It’s helpful without being overwhelming. I prefer books, but this breaks things down when it’s not your everyday thing and you can’t get the book. The only drawback is pronunciation. I’ve had to look up words to find I’m not saying them right. Guess that’s why it’s ’ lite’.
I find it educating right now. Certain parts of my body are in pain. I get a vision of it at what it does seems to help me and refresh my skills in anatomy. Learning is the key to all your problems. Once you are aware of it! Then it has to back off go away. No matter no atom no particle is until you see it feel then it is
Im not a professional, nurse or student in any industry for the body. I just have health issues; with gallbladder, shattered tibia, muscle imbalances, bitten by a dog in my hand, teeth issues, neck and ear tension, vertebras fused… and probably much more issues. I can visually see how my hands get numb connected the necks spinal nerves. Or discover what the aching spots in my sternum could be. I use the terms to understand my own body better. As an artist too you can see the muscle structures. Knowledge is power. I’m quite the slow learner too, so no, you don’t have to be doctor to understand. The design isn’t the prettiest, but the knowledge is way more important. I love the pin notes.
The app is complete and accurate. Was expecting lots of ads and that was not the case. At the same time you have a lot of information available in magnificently illustrated ways without having to pay for the full version. This is very rare and very much appreciated!
I use this app mostly to help orient myself when memorizing landmarks of the bones. The 3D functionality is good when you really have no idea what angle you're looking at. I wish it had individual bones and I could rotate those. I also wish it would just include major landmarks (maybe a simple and complex option to correlate with what level anatomy you're in). Overall-pleased.
This app has helped so many of my students. Anytime they have questions I refer them here to reinforce their knowledge. It’s a little challenging to navigate at the beginning however if you use it everyday it’s easy to navigate! I wish I would have had an app like this when I was in school! Thank you
This app has easy navigation, lots of information, quizzes and interactive diagrams. It takes things system by system. It even shows you what each muscle in your body moves!
I think the muscle anatomy and skeletal system is relatively well made with on point structural categories. Okay some specific locations may be missing but not every fissure and crease needs to be named in a practical setting unless it is being used in a scientific paper, then this app would then be a poor reference material.
This app makes study for anatomy a breeze! If struggled in the past with this class but when I found this app and took the class again, I did amazing! It allows you to take quizzes, you can turn the life-like models 360 degrees, it has all the systems of the body along with the bones and muscles! Love this app!
Great app but could use a few improvements. The 3D function is awesome but when trying to isolate a particular bone or muscle group, there is no option to do so. Graphics are also great but having a description of the bone or muscle and giving its function within the body would be even better.
Extremely fast to open and view content. Faster than more expensive and more detailed apps. Front to back viewing of major body parts. Have used for the last 4 years and plan to continue
It helps me to answer a lot of my kids question. Sometimes, a very simple question had to be on answered, because I could not explain how body parts work. By using this app, I can answer almost all of their question regarding our body functionality.
This app is amazing! Great vibrant pictures, I like how you can use the stylus to point at muscles to find more information about. I wish I had this when I was in college, but great for a refresher if you’re in the health and fitness or body worker industry.
I really enjoy it and the overview it gives on the organs and such. I love the quiz feature but I wish it would ask different questions instead of the same ones because once you go through the 22 questions that's all she wrote.
This is a good app. It's not as detailed as a high-level anatomy class, but it's definitely worth having. It has the major organs, the muscles, nerves and bones, but it does not offer things like the anatomy of the brain. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised to find the anatomy of an eye, which is very useful. Get it!
This app is much better than any book! It allows you to isolate the views of muscles and times and see them in all orientations. You can get detailed information on each muscle bone and systems of the body. It's a great way to study, learn and comprehend how the body works.
As a digital artist, I use this not only name the muscles and skeletal structures, but to fully understand what parts do what. I’m sure you can get the same level of education and usefulness from this app if you’re in the medical field or just curious about the body you possess.
I am a human biology major and currently in A&P. This app is quick access to loads of information. It really helps with the constant studying required by anatomy courses. I gave it a 4 because there is room for improvement. They could give a description of the muscle, bone, etc... Such as its movement or something just an added study tip.
I used this while studying for my Massage Therapy Boards and it was a good quick reference. I just wish they included more information for the free version but you can buy more access so I guess that option is by preference, I liked it over all other than that.
This app overall has been helpful with making flash cards for my A&P class however, the interface is a little confusing at times to navigate, I bet it’s better if upgraded to the paid version.
Grays Anatomy has pics you can't click on. If you click on 3D human, it gives you names and hi descriptions. Clicking on visAnatomy also gives you a short description. The only way to make it better would be to make it interactive.
Great app for being free. Arrows point to a specific muscle and you can choose the "info" button that gives you OIA and nerve innervation. Only annoying part in my opinion is if you close the app out, even to reply to a text, when reopening it automatically brings you back to the home screen. Otherwise good.
The app performs without any small bugs and errors also makes sense to construct and compose a better idea about the human body without the need to purchase at a higher price so as to keep things simple. Please try and help the developers.
I am a Honduran physician graduated in 1992; I wish I had this great tool Back in my student's day, I had a cadaver, her name was "Panchita." This app is as interactive as my Panchita." I had to stay late at night in the amphitheater to study/review material before test; but now you can do it from your cozy home
Great app for being free, helped me out a lot on my EMT tests as well as the NREMT test. Would recommend buying the full version if you are struggling in your EMT class that's what I did and seeing the visual aspect of the body and everything going on really helped me succeed. Be proactive and download this!
I honestly can't believe that this app is free! It shows me everything I need to know for my college level anatomy classes. It is a great learning tool and I highly recommend this app for anyone else like me that is a visual learner. I don't know what I would do without it!!
I love this anatomy app because it helped me through Chiropractic School and is still helping me now working as a chiropractor. It’s a great visual reference for my patience and it’s a great review for myself. I highly recommend it.
This app has been a life saver through A&P courses. I love the 3D features. It’s helped in so many ways that pictures in PowerPoints simply cannot. I can’t believe it’s free, perfect for the average college student budget! I’d give it a 10/5 if I could.
I’ve used it for more then 7 years now and I can’t say enough about hows it’s help me with classwork from time to time. I will say I’ve used it to not only learn for school but for self knowledge as well. Highly recommend
It really helps me with my anatomy studies and is well organized. The only thing I would like is there to be multiple kinds of tests for each category, instead of just a singular test over the gist of everything.
I have the free version and it’s still a benefit to me. It shows the anatomy that need to see, when I need to see it. I actually like that I can learn the names of each part.
If your not a Doctor, this App will guide you through just about Every part of your body. The 3D effect, makes it Very interesting and Fun to learn. I WOULD recommend this for Everyone.
Really good for learning something I do recommend that you get this. Especially if you want to be tested on it because it has a little quiz thing and was really nice.
I enjoyed this app it kept me motivated and interested to know more about the anatomy of the human body. It would be so cool if they had a puzzle feature to put the parts of the body system together for more fun and easy learning. The app is still worth keeping!
Follows right along what you learn in anatomy, physiology, and nursing school. I would make the 3D models a little More touch friendly, but other than that, this app is perfect to use along with your books and notes. 😊
The information when you click is very detailed and gives lots of information. The only thing I would change is more quizzes
I love how this ap is organized and 3d. I love being able to rotate & see how the organs are located in relation to each other as well as all the detail of each system. Great ap!
I love how it shows the different ways muscles make the body move it’s so helpful for visual learners! I’m just studying for art not medicine, I think more artists should be using this.
Familiar with the human body anatomically, I found this app to be quite insightful, super easy to understand and thus highly recommended for it’s effectiveness and quality. Outstanding, no fuzz just a good, solid app backed up with easy to manage layouts .. SLAM DUNK !!
This app helped me so much! It was much easier to diagram all of the muscles in the human body using this app in full color rather than the few black & white illustrations in my text book.
Thumbnails of muscles very hard to click on. Quiz was better on old version, you could pick which group or whole body and it would randomly ask which muscle is which, please bring this back!!!!
I am studying massage therapy and use this app as a study tool!
Sa serait mieu si on pourait voir en 3D😁
Great study tool for students.
Meilleur app pour les étudiant dans le domaine de la santé
Easy to navigate
All I can say is this app is amazing it was exactly what I was looking for to help me!
I use this app to study and is really helpful!!
I have had a couple of tough years, knee replacement, major shoulder surgery after a fall, pancreatitis, and h.pyolri infection. Through all of this the visual anatomy app has helped me to understand what is going on with my body and my family doctor and the surgeons to explain things to me. What a wonderful resource.
If you want to learn every part of the body That application is a good choice !
I like this app
You the best
Enfin une application bien pensée. Que dire de plus.
Use this for studying my anatomy courses, and it’s worked well when the teachers ask you to learn the anatomical parts, but do not give many resources for you to do so!
This app is wonderful and I use it all the time at work.
So convenient to use. If the pronunciation works would be better.
I use this app to study Bio with my daughter. She is in 7th grade and we were studying the Respiratory System. The app really helped us see the various parts visually and helped us better understand the functions.
Good reviewer
Very helpful and easy to use, but the ads on top are a little distracting!
This app is the bomb! Love it!
I got this app so I could pinpoint certain muscles that I didn’t know the names of in my workout routines. My days of not knowing the anatomical terms are over
Enjoy this apps quiz and visuals. Easy and fun to use. 😀 Now has audio!
Great app
Very useful for human biology courses or just a interest in learning your own body!
Very useful
Seems pretty good. Not immediately intuitive, but the amount of information and lack of ads make it well worth the effort.
Great for students!!!!! Best app I've used!
Perfect for university level Anatomy with insertions and origins.
What a fantastic app to have.
Very helpful, but doesn't have all the muscles I'm looking for
Helped me so much in my anatomy class
Great app really helps me for school!!
It's so great ,make the study more effective!
This is a very good learning tool....Great
Very helpful and easy to use!
This app does exactly what is outlined in its description. Clean, organized and accurate. This app is a great resource especially for traveling (yes, you may leave your little ANATOMY textbook at home). It is quick and accessible whenever you need. V-Happy
Great beginners app for I am a beginner. I also wish there was more questions😊
Really really helpful
Has everything u need
Great app to use to identify parts of the body and its systems
Great app, easy to use. Just needs a variety of quizzes.
Best app to understand doctors vocabulary 👍
Very helpful with id'ing injured area
Quiz is a little too easy but I like the flashcard concept :-) good pictures to educate patients.
I'm studying for my Exercise Theory Exam and this is great help!
Visual Anatomy Lite Negative Reviews and Ratings
The app doesn't provide the anatomical info I expected. I clicked on the "body" section; there are pins in a few areas. The shoulder pin gives you the term "shoulder"- not "acromium" or "acromial". The pin at the groin area doesn't display "inguinal", but instead the word "groin". I expected the app to display the anatomical terms, not the colloquial terms. For this reason, I am not rating it highly. I'm not sure it's worth the memory it takes up.
I bought this app several years ago. It was great! It had everything I wanted. Then recently they did an update and downgraded me to their "light" version. Now the information provided is very limited and nearly useless. Poor decision! Bad marketing!
Pourquoi dire que l’application a une version francophone. Franchement, ne téléchargez surtout pas cette application
L’application est très belle cependant la traduction en français est incomplète à plusieurs endroits
It’s a good app. But unfortunately the sound doesn’t work.
Je fait le choix de langue et le quiz il reste toujours en anglais... :(
Would be much more helpful if it showed more detail such as the processes on the skull.
