3D Bones And Muscles (Anatomy) Customer Service

I find this app has been incredibly helpful for many wonderful uses. I first got it as an educational tool for my daughter who had an interest in studying massage therapy. It’s helped her learn every muscle, ligament and how they attach to the bones, ect A few years later she had to have major hip surgery ( FAI) and years of PT to rebalance her body and this app has helped us understand her body, helps her be that much more spot on about which areas are doing what so she can communicate to her Drs &PTs so it’s made her recovery that much better, more specific. And now Ive been using it for similar needs as I recover from my spinal surgeries. Even today, cuz something felt ‘stuck’ and I was in agony, couldn’t get to see any PT in any timely manner, so I referred to the app, looked up the area that was hurting, got an inside look at how the muscles overlay eachother and was able to visualize what might be ‘stuck’ so I could massage and stretch accordingly and it worked. I got an amazing release and relief and I can walk today w/o agony and a limp. So 👍👍👍👍👍

I cannot say enough how much I love this app. I recommend it to all of my classmates in medical school because for this price it really does not get any better. I did happen to find one small error under the description of one of the muscles. When you select the popliteus and then the button to see its Origin, insertion, innovation and actions, it says one of its actions is laterally rotating the leg. In reality, the popliteus medially rotates the lower leg. When you click on the video for the actions of the popliteus, it has the correct movement and description (medially rotating the lower leg). This is such a tiny error, and the only one I have found thus far. Like I said, this app is incredible and I wish I could give it even more stars.

As a professional artist and art educator and now retiree I used this app daily. Whenever I draw the human body and need to remember the location and names of these muscles I can look them up in a moment! As art educator we often drew the human body and I could use this for my students to better visualize the shape of these muscles and bone structure for without that knowledge you cannot be successful in correct anatomical figurative work. I still use this app as an artist but now as a retiree I have occasional problems with different parts of my body and I can see the relationship between one muscle and where it refers to in my body. Excellent app.

I downloaded 3 anatomy apps for muscles and anatomy practice for massage therapy school and this is the one I kept! I appreciate that it doesn’t tell you it’s a free app then make you pay for every little thing once the app is downloaded. It takes a little while to play around and find all the features, some that I have found helpful is the test feature, the information on muscle functions, origins and insertions, and the erase and ghost feature that lets you see the deeper muscles. Very informational and well done app.

A few glitches: 1. During the quiz, one of the questions asks me locate the medial pterygoid, and even though I select the right spot, it marks it wrong because the question has it written as "pterigoid" with an i instead of a y. Just a bit annoying. 2. Sometimes when I select different parts to look at, they turn red and don't revert unless I get out and come back. And a suggestion: 1. Make a quiz for the lower muscular system (the legs). Other than that, I like how detailed this app goes into the different parts of the body. Thank you for making this!

I have used 3D Bones and Muscles for several years. It is a fantastic tool for anyone but especially for people who weight train, play golf, any sport, massage therapists, physical therapists….anyone who has a need to understand what is happening inside the body or explain it to another person on their care team. I use it all the time. I am 63 and very active. Aches and pains are inevitable. I use it to understand my own body and show others. So many uses….don’t question it….just get this app. Very powerful tool.

This is an amazing app, and the price makes it 20x better. There are no annoying advertisements 👌🏻 and it does what it says it does 👍🏼👍🏼 But it could do with an option to focus on selected item. Like have a button that will center the view on that item, also settings that allow you to adjust rotation sensitivity. It could also use more in depth quizzes, add more items for individual bones eg: select the region corresponding to the zygomatic process of the temporal bone.

Very good app. I don’t really use it for a reason, but I just think it’s cool to see all of the muscles, bones, and body parts. You can see different parts of the body like the digestive system for example. It doesn’t take that much space up, I would say the 2024 one is Very VERY good, but it takes up too much space. If you are someone that uses this to study, then I recommend this app for you. By the way this is coming from a kid

It’s free, it’s simple, the ads don’t interfere with the experience, and has been working beautifully. If I had one gripe it’s how there seems to only be one version of each quiz, but that’s something easy to deal with You are a true treasure for anatomy students, 3D Bones and Muscles Cliff note: overall feels like an app I’d stumble on in my mom’s phone as a four year old and then it’d become one of my favorites to mess around on, sooo, good work

Love love love this app but I realized while referencing the app for my biomechanics course that I could not locate the splenius capitis, which is odd because the sternocleudomastoid was there. These two muscles are very important in moving the head and cervical spine. I tried hiding the trapezius muscle group to see if there was another layer and could not find it. But it should be there as well. Let me know if it’s truly there and I’m just crazy. Haha thanks for this app so much!!

Cannot speak highly enough about this app has all the bones you can rotate the body anyway that you want and it lets you personalize quizzes. The only suggestions I would have for them to improve are that you be able to lock your view so that you can zoom in and turn it without flipping the body every time and to add in the different processes, foremina, and sutures of the skull...that would be amazing! Fantastic ap for learning the anatomy!

Most apps will offer a temporary trial or a limited amount of access, not this app. Now, most other apps offer more in depth content for depending on the price. However, the content this app provides for free is better than any other free app I’ve come across. As an exercise science major, it is important for me to have specific bones and muscles fresh and my mind, and this app provides proficient content for just that. Perfect for what it is, 10/10.

I mostly use this app so that I can gain a better understanding of our musculature. It’s nice to be able to to make certain muscles transparent so I can see what’s below them. I also really enjoy having the ability to move the figure around so I can view it at every angle. When clicking on the muscle you also get its characteristics like the name, origin, insertion, and function

I find this app to be one incredible, amazing app. I do not study anything in the medical field. I wasn’t too sure what possessed me to download this app but I am happy I did. I find myself studying the human body on a regular without any medical background. This app makes me want to change careers and I believe If I do as long as I have this app I will be able to pass any exam.

This app is pretty good! I'm studying nursing and this really helps a bunch. The only thing(s) I wish was different was the handling of it all. When you try to zoom in or move the direction of view it goes crazy and you end up losing your place. The other thing is for the naming of the muscles. They don't have it for the lower extremities. But other than that It's great. And I appreciate that it's free. Broke college students can't afford to pay $12 just for an app hahaha thanks so much 😊

This is a great app. I use it often when trying to better understand some aspect of my anatomy, or when trying to explain to someone else where something is located on, or in, a particular part of the body. I have also used it when discussing a problem area with my doctor. Am grateful to have access to this app! Kudos to its creator!

I just started using this app. It is a little hard at first to navigate as there isn't a tutorial option for what the different buttons do. I like the voice option when you touch on bone or organ. It helps with pronunciation. I love the 3D movement to see particular bone or organ in full view versus the one dimensional view you get in textbooks. I like moving the skeleton around to various views to get more accurate information for learning.

First of all, there is no definitive difference between the male and female models. The bones have different shapes, and it is inaccurate how it is displayed. Also, where is the spleen? I have been looking for it and it is not there. It should be above the stomach, right? Another thing is, I think the rest of the nerves and blood vessels should be shown throughout the body. I don’t like how they just end.

This is great for learning muscles and bones. It is a little difficult to maneuver at times though. An error I found was that the serratus posterior anterior and serratus posterior inferior muscles were switched. I don’t know how many more problems there are but hopefully this helps. Also it’d be great if there were more quizzes for the other regions like the upper limb muscles and lower limb muscles.

This app has really changed how I am able to describe pain & other sensations to my doctors. I’m now able to name the muscles that are involved when I have spasms, instead of, it’s the outside of my arm, or it’s on the left side of my back. It’s helped confirm how much involvement there is of my fascia in my fibromyalgia. It helps some of my doctors pay better attention to my symptoms.

I study martial art and endurance cycling and have been baffled by some of my injuries…torn tendons or bruised muscles…until I opened this app. It is intuitive and easy to navigate through. I also draw and paint the human form and am delighted to see and name the play of bones and layers of muscles in each pose of a figure I am bringing to graphic form.

So thorough, clear and user friend. Being a fitness professional in Pilates and dance, I am always looking for a clear reference to this exact information with visual aid. I LOVE the layering feature where you can opt to see muscles deep to the surface muscles in a very clear and visually sound way, so awesome! The only reason I did not rate a full 5 is because the lower extremity muscle groups are not on the app. Are those coming soon?!?! LOVE this app!

I am currently taking an anatomy and physiology course and this app is a great study tool. You can see muscles and bones in 3D. You can also go layer by layer and it even has a built in quiz to learn the material. For being free, I say it is well worth it. I gave it 4 stars because zooming in and out, and moving the skeleton is a bit hard to do sometimes, but not a deal breaker for me.

Im using this app to learn anatomy for my art. This app is so easy to use and navigate. The only problem would be that its very difficult to move the model back to normal when it gets weird angles. I also would like you to add a feature where it snaps into place when its at the exact angle of side view or back/front view

I’m currently an Anatomy &Physiology student- this app has become my lifeline to study! I can study specific systems anytime. I love that there is also quizzes included. Currently studying muscles; this app shows the system, the region, and the muscle name. You can see from every angle and differentiate layers as well. Extremely helpful study tool!!

My wife is an RN, so for decades I’ve been hearing her explanations of various aches and ailments which I present. Now I can see how the parts of our bodies are connected. It is great to be able to see exactly what is going on. This app makes it so easy to see everything.

What a life saver great app, and I’m using the free version. Everything I need for my A&P class is available on this app and it allows me to move muscles out of the way so that I can see the deeper muscles and their attachments. This app is the best. I was heading out to take a challenge test for A&P this morning but I wasn't sure if I was ready. After Testing myself with this app ,I knew ,I needed more study time. This app is super helpful! From being able to see thing in layers(superficial to deep) to quizzing. For times when I can’t use my book and I have ten minutes here or there, using this app is so useful in regards to being able to review things! Love this app!

I absolutely love this app. I work a rather rigorous job alongside other men. We get hurt now and then! It’s good to be able just to look and see if maybe something is a miss or where pain might be. What bone is broke A lot of things. Great app and I don’t recall having any issues with it.

Handling needs a little help, but it is a free app so I cannot complain. I do wish there was a button to select a specific bone and merely view it on its own rather than having to individually select those around it, but it is extremely helpful as I read through Gray's Anatomy to see 3D images of the bones.

This is a great App for foreign medical students whose native language isn't English. Not only does it help us understand the structure of human body but also help us improve our medical English and remember English medical terms as well. Most important of all it makes us catch the pronunciation and correct our accent! Thanks!

This app really gets the job done for me! I use it when refreshing my anatomy since if you don’t use it you’ll lose it. This app is very straight to the point, a couple ads pop up but the reward is a lot greater!

I appreciate the free app. So thank you . I am a current student studying to be surgical technologist. I love the mobility of being able to study when I have a few minutes, how it is sectioned out and the information available about each item, the puzzles and overall ease of the app.

I am a regular Joe layperson but I’m married to a nurse who speaks Medical lingo. When she talks a medical issue, or especially as she explains what a Doctor told me about my medical problem, I love going to this App to understand what and where we’re taking about. I highly recommend this App.

I’m studying muscles for an A&P muscle test I have coming up and if you’ve ever used an anatomage table this is kind of similar to that? You can remove muscles to see deep ones and I haven’t tried the other features but it’s really helpful.

It's a Nice application but there is some intolerable bugs like the body stop and don't rotate anymore or when you touch a specific part of the body it doesn't get it and name the part, except that everything is good !!! There is almost everything you need and a small description of the organ, very useful

I wanted to understand shoulder anatomy due to an injury. This app is simply amazing. Just touch any muscle or bone, and the app identifies it. I can make item transparent or remove it entirely to expose deeper layers. I can rotate the figure around so I can see things from any angle. Very helpful.

Its a great source for understanding the muscle groups. My dog had pulled several muscle groups while taking part in agility. I was able to see which muscles were affected and how they were related in the bodies function.

All other apps are worthless, you can turn off each muscle or bone and dig down, see how things interconnect, ghosting overlaying muscles, free turning. I’ve gone threw a heap to learn for drawing anatomy, absolute best option, as an iOS app at least.

I found this app when trying to study for nursing school, and so far it has been of great help. I even told all my classmates about it. Great tool to study!

This has been a very helpful app while studying anatomy. You get to see all the muscle, click on them, see the name, and then you can make it disappear to see what muscle lies behind it. Great visuals and great help!

On the skeletal quiz, the coccyx isn’t there but requests it. Also another one in the muscles of the head is not showing up. There can be much more quizzes matching part to body. I only seen skeletal and muscle. Looking for somewhere to play and learn all of them. I go on it everyday so of course I love it.

I use this app to help my clients communicate where they are hurting or having tightness. It makes it simple for me to pinpoint the areas the muscles may be involved and to explain how other muscles around that area may benefit from treatment.

I was very anxious in my anatomy class trying to visualize where everything was located. This app has really made me feel more confident in my learning. Will definitely use this for my nursing career.

I love this app. Whenever I am coaching people and I notice smaller muscles developing, muscles many don’t even know they have, I am quickly and easily able to navigate the app and show these muscles in 3D with explanation. 👍👍👍👍

Great app, except for the following: 1. App only works in portrait mode. iPads are not phone-less iPhones or big, large iPod Touches. iPad users work in landscape mode. 2. In latest version, when viewing in portrait mode (the only mode (see above)) on the iPad Pro 9.7” running iOS 12, the advertising at the bottom of the screen covers the bottom portion of the bottom row of three buttons.

Heads up the free version misses a lot of muscles, especially in the low back

It’s good general information, if you are planning on learning beyond name and function of a particular body part, more research is going to be required. Great for at a glance or or looking up the name of a particular body part.

Helps me learn way faster then any text book

Fantastic! Use two-finger drag or zoom, or one-finger rotate. Individual items can be made translucent or removed completely to expose underlying structures. Tap on an item to see its name. Layers can be added or removed. Tap on a structure, then read a short note, or take a quiz. Very intuitive. Well worth the money.

I got this app to study skeletal system for an introductory anatomy class. It is sufficient! I wish the app showed the markings a little more clearly and that you could label those yourself, but for a free app it is still more than expected. Five stars!

I’m guessing I’m missing something obvious but...where is the spleen? I get the impracticality of showing lymph nodes but, the spleen? Kind of important. The heart is shown in way that does not visualize 4 chambers...there is no septum that I can find. Wasn’t too thrilled about the brain, either. I think a little more specificity would not be asking too much. So, I am unable to find some basic body parts. I am hopeful that this is my own failure. I think a program like this should be able to meet the basic standard set by physical, take-apart, 3-D models. As it stands, with such basic parts missing, I can only give 3 stars. I’ll update if it turns out this is all my fault in navigating the program. Maybe you get the extra body parts if you pay for premium or something? Dunno....

I think this app is very nice and it has a-lot of potential. There was an update not too long ago to the app and the new update messed up the better track and orbit to the 3D model. Now it becomes very cumbersome to put the model back on track without having to press the auto track button top right. I enjoy the simple features it has to help learn and study. Lastly I really enjoyed the quiz section of muscle app, however it is very very limited to what is available. I Just removed the app and but I hope to download it again in the future. Good luck team.

Its really good game but it shows the privet part for a male and female.
