Ignore previous commentsI bought an LG BP175 wired Blueray player. It’s installed in a closet, so the remote can’t be used. Before installing this App on my iPhone X I read the reviews. What I can tell you is that the reviews with 1 Star are nonsense. Not accurate. They are apparently written by people who just have to say something when they can’t figure out how to make things work. The App works great. You can even turn your unit on & off from the App. This is something other Blueray players can’t do because the network connection is not present when a unit is off. Not so with the LG Blueray I purchased. You can also setup all your third party Apps that play through a Blueray. I would recommend trying this App if you have an LG Blueray player. Don’t bother reading all the reviews from people who shouldn’t be writing them..Too big to fail NOTVersion: 2.0.6

Private Sound Mode flawWorks good for all my LG Blu-ray player remote control commands. Private Sound mode only works with the app running in the foreground! As soon as you try to swap to another app - the sound will cut out, which is bad because many users like checking their e-mail, surfing the web or using another app while watching a disc. Some flawsInstallation was easy. The remote control function worked well on an iPhone 5 controlling an LG BD-540 Blu ray player, but completely drained the iPhone battery in just 2 hours. The phone becomes hot when this Ap is in use, or even suspended. You must completely close the Ap to stop the massive power consumption.
