DJII use the app with an iPhone and it works great. When it goes out of range it will start a new video clip but it keeps recording. I use it to also capture stills from video.

Connection problems? Try this.Hope this helps. App does work. Reports of the camera not showing up as a wifi device on you phone is true- unless you have Bluetooth turned on when you're trying to discover the camera on Wi-Fi. When Bluetooth is turned on then magically it shows up on the Wi-Fi list of devices to connect to.to save battery life on your phone then you can turn off Bluetooth and it stays connected as a Wi-Fi device. Very puzzling.DJI needs to fix this as well as it would be nice if the included a discovery option built into the app so I don't have to go to settings each time I want to pair up with Wi-Fi..Pbc95124Version: 1.0.8

DJI is a horrible companyThese guys can't get anything right. The app was made to "fix" a problem. This app is nothing but another display of how stupid these guys are. Who makes a product that cost over a thousand dollars and it doesn't work!!! These guys! DJI! I bought my phantom 1 week ago and have yet to get the camera to work. UnusableSince the new update OS 11, I can’t use the camera. It is now just an expensive paperweight. There are still many out here and it’s a shame they don’t work. Doesn't work!I don't even know what this app will do. It won't even open. First it asked that o connect to WiFi. Did that, then it told me to go to Setting>WiFi>Camera.
