It’s gotten worse since last yearThings to improve: Stop sending offers when people are sleeping. Stop holding people accountable for things they are doing wrong. The dashboard has gotten worse since last year. They used to take things off in a timely manner now they don’t. I just got marked for a late package when I didn’t have any late packages. I take the ones that are due first then the rest because it isn’t the drivers fault if your package is late - it’s a warehouse issue. Regardless I refuse to be held accountable for late packages so I take those first and y’all still tried to put one on my dashboard?!? Start allowing people to pick up two five hour shifts a day. Not everyone has a gas friendly vehicle that they can do short shifts in. I use the same amount of gas for shorter shifts so I only do 5 hour shifts and y’all have cut us off from being allowed to do two per day. Not cool..Version: 2.112.1

Safety suggestionSafety suggestion: Create a “dark mode” for the flex app. The bright background of the flex app is very hard on the eyes while driving and delivering after dark. In some cities and counties, it is illegal to drive with a light on at night while in the car because of how hard it is for the eyes to focus on other vehicles, signs, and road hazards. The bright white background of the FLEX app makes it difficult to refocus on the road and on obstacles while driving and delivering in the dark. Please make an effort to change this incredibly dangerous part of the flex app. The bright white background of the FLEX app is dangerous while approaching homes at night; it drowns out surrounding vision making it difficult to see oncoming obstacles, such as steps and curbs. More so, it also makes it very difficult to see potential threats such as a stranger approaching or a dog approaching in the dark while delivering on foot. Please make an effort to change this incredibly dangerous part of the FLEX app. I have tripped and fallen twice while delivering packages at night while using the FLEX app. I have also been approached by strangers at night while using the FLEX app to complete a delivery. Due to the bright white background of the flex app, I was not able to see these hazards or potentially dangerous situations while delivering. Please make an effort to change this incredibly dangerous part of a FLEX app..Version: 2.78.7

Live support = weak link!I’ve really enjoyed the flexibility of this app. The only issue that I have, and it’s a pretty big issue, is with the support drivers seem to get from the live chat feature- on road and off road. IiioAnytime anything comes up for me, I contact support. And generally speaking, it’s not at all my fault, and I’m going above and beyond to ensure that customers successfully receive their packages and everyone stays safe! So let’s say I have a route that majority apartments, and several of the stops have access issu cted by this incident. But almost without fail, wit will show on my standings, and it will take an additional several es/can’t get ahold of customer.. so I actually take the time to reach out to customer serval times, and try to find a safe way into the building without causing disturbance. I generally have luck eventually gaining access, but it does take me much longer than anticipated. I call support, let them know why I’m a little behind, they tell me not to worry, they’ve made a notation to my account and my standings won’t be negatively affected by this incident. But almost without fail, it will show on my standings, and it will take an additional several times of reaching out to support to get someone who will actually hear me, look at the notes in my account, and to please adjust my standings so that if fairly and accurately reflects the work that I do for the flex program. Offers and pay rateI just happen to come on this review site just so that I can read some of the comments because I thought I was the only one feeling like I’m not getting enough money for the routes that are given to me. First of all, whatever they did with the update so that you can reserve block times that’s going to make it easier for you is a joke. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone on the page to reserve the correct time that they said was going make it easier for me to never be chosen. I mean, I have a good rating a good standing I’ve been doing this for 5+ years and I liked it because of the flexibility but lately it has been going downhill the pay for the time that you’re trying to deliver is bad two hours for $38. What is that? And you put 27 packages in that I get 27 packages in a three hour block as well and thats only $57. The route has so many miles on it that I sometimes just want to take it back but then you will mess up your ratings. Why give us an option to pick blocks if you’re not gonna give it? Why aren’t we getting paid more for these blocks? Why do I have to hit the offer button to refresh over and over again to see blocks that are available to go and try to save a block and it disappears. I don’t understand what’s going on. The good and the bad of ifSo first off, hear me out. This is a great way to make extra cash. However, as an app it needs refinement. Not just on our end but on Amazons as well and I can explain. For starters, the routes given sometimes are impossible. If you catch a 3:15-4:00am route, you could be in for a treat. The app should know that businesses are closed at certain times and not to send deliveries before 8am. However it is quite often that this is not the case and you can’t even make it to the geofenced location to explain yourself on the app. So now you have to call. Which is okay, but the person on the line shouldn’t act like I can just use the app in lew of calling. Because if you use the app instead of calling in every single stop that can’t be accessed, you will get a ding on your record. Even if you return the packages in time for them to be sent in the next route. You will get a ding on your record. Doesn’t matter that you have successfully delivered 3000 packages with a “Fantastic” rating. They don’t believe you. So that should be fixed. The GPS is very clunky, has the names of roads messed up, explains highway directions dangerously and incorrectly, tells you to turn now waaaaaay too soon, switches directions in an instant and never really knows which direction you’re facing, and is entirely too zoomed out. There are other minor bugs like not getting reserved blocks for weeks, not being able to call from the app (which makes stops up to 20 mins longer), app freezing and such. It just needs fixed. Otherwise I think the way you get blocks is fair and the times you’re expected to be on site and finish by are fair as well. IT’S A GOOD THING! It just has a way to go yet to be perfect.Version: 2.138.2

It’s a love hate with thisWhen you go and loook for jobs there is never any slots for hours at a time. Many people are using bots to accept the blocks that are being giving. It’s almost impossible to get blocks when they are also being offered 10mins before the start time of the block…you will need to watch the app for hours at a time before you will have a block show up. I understand it’s about how many people that are on the app but you should be able to see the blocks that will be given in the day. Let people see something other then “sorry come back later” that wouldn’t make people want to work more. Plus for the new comers there should be more slots for us to come up and hit lvl two like everyone else. Everyone else sits at lvl two making it harder for the new comers to get there as well when jobs won’t show up and most of the blocks are given to the people who can pick a schedule. How are you. supposed to get to level two when you can’t even see the jobs lol. You should have the option for everybody not just people for level two. We would like to work just as much but it’s very hard to do so. Plz make a change, this would be an amazing app if you just implemented more for the new comers. Just add more slots!.Version: 2.88.2

The worst customer service!!!Ok so the app itself is ok and could definitely use improvements. I experienced many technical issue which either delayed me or stopped me making deliveries. On this particular day I was at the warehouse and in the process of me scanning the app froze and then the entire route disappeared from the itinerary. I called customer support and they told me not to worry I would still be paid and just send a email to support which I did before I even left the warehouse. This happened 8/5/22 and I still was not paid. I don’t expect to get the full block pay but at least compensate me for my time and gas expenses especially since this was something beyond my control. After sending many emails and not receiving no help at this point they are refusing to me and at this point I’m done I will be deleting the app. I keep having bots sending the same message saying you will only be paid for blocks you showed up for and completed but to make it even worst they tried to make me seem like a liar but saying we investigated and our records indicate that you were not there which is completely false. I have proof from the warehouse managers that were there that day to the phone records and the email I sent and clearly one took the time to fully investigate it. So I want to make you all aware that this is a terrible business practice/model and they take advantage of drivers who rely on the app. Some of the blocks are not enough to break even between time and gas and there is no transparency when it comes to the delivery routes. I would not recommend this to anyone and I hope they improve this business model or shut it down because some of the practices do seem predatory to work only in the best interest of the company and not the drivers who contribute to the success of the company!!!!!!.Version: 2.104.1

App needs to glitch less & support team could use more trainingFlex application tends to glitch a lot- whether it’s the GPS, when having to scan your packages or attempting to lock in delivery blocks. For support team members- it is frustrating when you attempt to tell them the issue you are experiencing and it is extremely hard to understand them or they tell you what they understood vs what the issue is that you are trying to explain to them and some of them are just trying to rush you off the phone. Especially some calls are extremely hard to have with them if the pick up store is closed for the night when you arrive complete a pick up. The same incident happens but another team member picks up and they are either rude or telling you something different. Other team members tell you in similar previous incidents and that are kind and easy to talk to and other either frustrated and/ or don’t generate offer to generate a ticket and it effects your “standing” on your dashboard for future delivery blocks. I’ve asked to speak to a supervisor in the past and I’m quickly told their isn’t one either..Version: 2.120.1

Needs some improvement.1) would be nice that app will recognize directional after dropping off a package. Would make it easier instead of starting to go, then to have to make a u turn to go back the other way. 2) app allows up to 5 minutes to cancel a block if picked in error. After this it does not allow to choose for the same block period. Example: today I picked up a block in error that started at 6:30pm. It was 6:25, so no possible way to make it to station. After I noticed the time, i cancelled. Now no more blocks to choose from and I’m 12 minutes from that station and willing to drive. 3) making it easier when there is app issues to receive payment. Example: I arrived at the station timely, app didn’t work. I called support and somehow they had to transfer me a o another agent. When I got to the second agent it was already past 10 minutes, therefore no longer able to get me in. To this day I have not received payment and no response from support. Waste of time on my end getting up so early to be told you will be paid, but then no payment because of app. Issues..Version: 2.137.1

Flex off and onI currently work for a local DSP which I absolutely love but this app has had nothing but issues the last 2 weeks. I normally run rural routes and the offline maps have been super buggy. Even if I have service the app closes out on me randomly which loses me at least 20 mins multiple times through out my route. Not only this but if I don’t have service and switch to airplane mode the app will have you drive circles trying to load a map that should’ve already been downloaded. Flex thinks certain roads are 5 mph instead of 55 mph. Flex also thinks there are roads through people houses or yards a lot of times. Needs updated badly. Suggestion: the delivery drivers should be able to leave notes for future delivery drivers about certain stops. Let’s say they have a beware of dog but the dog is super nice it’d be nice if I could let my coworkers know in app that way when they pull up they can see via the app that someone else said the dogs were ok. Or if a customer has specific instructions (elderly people don’t know how to add notes for delivery) or the gps is off (which happens all the time) theyll know what to do from the other drivers comments..Version: 2.123.1

GPSThe names of the highways, exits and streets do not align. For example, I only know 94E or 94w but it will tell you to get off on hwy17 which is very confusing i literally have to look at which way that app looks like it’s heading so I can make a sound decision. There is no way to change your route if you run into construction sites. I will have to turn around and drive 10 mins out the way to find another route to the delivery site which is very time consuming. Many residents don’t have access codes to get in and if it’s before 8am we can’t call to gain access but we are penalized for not delivering a package even tho their are huge signs that tell us not to leave packages in the vestibule. The supervisors at the pick up location are very dismissive and annoyed when you need assistance. They always refer you to driver support instead of helping you with anything. You don’t have much service in the warehouse at all. Even if you are on time for your shift but the app is not working or their WiFi is not connecting properly they send you home without pay instead of helping you pick up packages. Sometimes the packages are not in the bin correctly and it will continue to say this is not your route even tho the sticker and location matches your route number. Time consuming mistakes. The wages are decreasing. It’s below zero weather here, gas is not cheap and neither are oil changes. I don’t understand why we would get paid less during extreme inclement weather. They overload deliveries to capacity 45+packages for one route and send 10 people home with pay saying there are no more routes. Again it’s below zero weather why not just split a route? It’s either heat stroke, bad driving conditions, construction activity or frost bite here. I don’t believe what/whoever is creating these routes take these things into consideration..Version: 2.503.401

Wish they could do moreI love this job on one hand but on the other hand it’s hard to schedule blocks I’ve been working for this company sense December 1st in the beginning getting blocks were easy then once I reached to level 2 I didn’t get anything for 2 weeks I texted support an asked them why I wasn’t getting any blocks they told me they couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting them so they said they will fix the problem an I should be good to go in a few days well 2 days later I started getting blocks again the blocks were coming in one right after another so I went threw all of January up until here a week ago getting blocks but then here recently in the last 2 weeks blocks would show up I click on them to schedule them an it will say block was already filled it wasn’t even up for a second an it was already filled I really believe people are using bots to schedule there offers which isn’t fair to everyone else I wish amazonflex would fix this problem make it where they scheduled a offer an confirm there not a robot there app tells you they do that but they don’t.Version: 2.126.1

Good could be greatWith a few minor tweaks, this experience could be an award-winning experience. To name a few the “just for you”, Alerts. Should be a route, that takes the flexor near their home. Not to say, other route should be geared towards the flexors home. Which will allow them to save time, gas, and money. Emphasis on, simply trying to get the flexor near home. The GPS is next level with the accuracy. The only thing I would Taylor is when, approaching the customers home the GPS zooms in and allows you to get closer before that I parked button pops up. A Street view of the home would add value. When scanning packages to number to go out for delivery, which I wish, was already numbered from the factory. The scanner picks up the cold, as easy as the scanner when delivering the package to the home. Sometimes the centers are flooded with people which slows you down. If you can do a full check in on your phone instead of having to get checked in at the station would make the experience more efficient..Version: 2.507.107

Performance review jeopardizeI love delivering smiles to clients on your behalf And I do so with so much pride, professionalism, care, passion and enthusiasm however is SO MUCH UNFAIR that my performance review is based on a missed package when the package have been given or delivered to the client and you believed the client putting My loyalty to you under the table and measuring my performances base on clients story. What about investigating more whether that is a client that typically would report missed package to avoiding paying for it or to get a 2nd package or item. What about taken both stories in consideration and filing claim thru your business as loss and replace your clients item but don’t put the blame on me when you know my record impeccable base on my background check you did. Review these issues improve your consideration, loyalty and treat you flex contractor driver better. Thank you..Version: 2.87.1

Please improve in-app navigationI drive FT rural routes and I have been encountering numerous in-app navigation errors with Apple and Google. The maps indicate routes that do not exist, whether because of creek crossings, jeep tracks, private roads, or Forest Service roads blocked by locked gates. These errors, of 1/2 mile or more as the crow flies, often involve backtracking plus 10 extra miles of driving. Another problem is delivery circles. Every single rural route I drive involves five or more instances where customer instructions indicate a drop off point way outside the delivery circle—with zero network connectivity to adjust for this in the app. I do not understand why delivery circles are not widened on these routes—or why there are not two possible delivery circles—one for the gate, when it is closed, and another for the house, when the gate is open. Please confer and fix asap. These problems cost drivers quite a bit of time and money. Thank you..Version: 2.506.105

Good and badThe app has good and bad things. The good... You can navigate through the app parts quickly! Bad... If you report a road closure that the google maps Flex uses that somehow isn't updated... The app will dim out when you are driving as a way to get back at you for trying to help drivers not get stuck like me! Good... Simple process with scanning. Bad... The GPS So, any Pittsburgh Drivers... In the Fort Pitt Tunnel heading for a city drop off. Somehow it will say I've arrived, and show me riding along Grant! Really odd! I know tunnels... But come on!!! 5 minutes up the road it glitches? Also... Fix your directions too! The app never can seem to realize where I am after I start driving. Good... Most routes are quick and easy! Bad... The unfair standing dings! Apparently you get dinged when a business closed prior to your route and the package was due at a time prior to your route! App userI think that this app is a great way to make money. However you should be able to make more money considering the milage you have to drive and the fuel they aren’t paying you for. You’re only being paid to deliver the packages. By time you get to the location you either need gas or need more gas and using half of what you just got paid. Another thing I would love to get paid when I finish delivering the packages rather than getting paid when the block is actually over. I also think if I had to return packages or anything out of my control such as late deliveries because of late pick ups at the station, and or customers having locked gate communities that It shouldn’t go against my standings report. Let me work as many hours as I would like not have a 40 hour a week minimum. Which means never no over time work. Great app but could be better!.Version: 2.515.115

I make roughly $1600 CAD a monthI’ve been doing this for about 3 months now, and I’ve been raking in about $1600 CAD net profit a month. $50 a week for gas in my Toyota Corolla. $1600-$200 in gas=$1400 a month is decent for a side gig/part time work. Worst map everI cannot believe this app is designed for world’s largest online market place delivery drivers. Map integration is sooo poor that it will take you to no entry, you’ll be going on highway and a bridge will come and this app thinks now your van will jump from highway to that bridge and show you the route like that. I don’t know who designed this app but kick him out asap even small dispatch apps like spoke have better integration that this app..Version: 2.601.101
