Works well with two flawsIt's been mentioned in previous reviews. Volume is very low. I would say even below a normal conversation level. Also, when running in the background it continues to go offline and then back online. Issue is that it causes my alerts to go off every time that it happens and it happens Every couple of minutes.
The service is good and responsive. I use it to communicate with other devices that are phones built with the EPTT technology. Believe they are the Samsung flip phones.

Finally some "real" PTT on the iPhoneThere are a lot of Push To Talk apps out there, and generally they work pretty well for personal use. A business usually needs a lot more though in terms of being able to manage lots of users, do large group calls etc. so that's why "serious" PTT systems like Nextel have done so well this far. This AT&T app is the first "real" business-quality PTT system on the iPhone and it's about time. It's not as loud as it would be on phones designed for PTT so it's not for noisy environments. But other than that, using the PTT on 3G, LTE and Wi-Fi so far has been great, and much needed for iPhone users..SchnellVersion: 1.0.0
Will be great if update fixes a few problemsI miss my Nextel, this app is going to be great when they fix the sound and battery issues, also I am having an issue with the app going offline then back on. Works Well, need i6 supportApp and service work great for our business. GPS is a great feature and is used with businesses who use the Integrated Dispatch software to track user locations...so it definitely has it's useful purpose in the app. Would be nice to be able to turn off location services just for this app so that it saves battery. Disconnect from serverThe battery drain problem has been greatly improved. Sound quality is good. There is a problem with this version. It keeps disconnecting from the server. Everyone on the roster appear not available. We all have to call on the phone to have PTT reconnect again from time to time. If these problem solved, I will give 5 stars..Wishfish88Version: 2.0

A messApp is a mess. Can’t unlock your screen before you’ve missed a call. Unable to see who’s calling with the screen locked. No ability to shortcut from the lock screen to the app. Unable to clear missed notification badges (also unable to find where the badge is actually coming from.)
I’d wish I could tell you to save your money and convert to a dedicated PTT device, but the Sonim devices offered by ATT are so cumbersome, and unreliable they make the whole experience not worth it. This new version is awfulWhere to start.... The sensitivity is way off. You have to manually go back to the main menu when you end a call...every. single. time. The calls coming in don’t show up sometimes if you’re in a call with another radio. If you miss a call and it actually shows up, it’s no longer red, it’s just white text stating “missed call”. Good but not greatFirst: this is a good app and does exactly as promised. That being said though, there are several draw backs if considering using this on an iPhone. 1 problem is that if you don't use it much iOS will disconnect for the server making it impossible for others to use the EPTT to contact you. You can get around this by looking at the app every hour or so. 2 location needs to be on, this is part of the battery drain, no reason I can think of to have on, when there is no way to see locations of other users.
This app needs an update, turn location services off, that will prevent the major battery drain.
If your a casual user or use it for fun, then it's a 5 star app. If your using this for critical operations, get with the times and use it as a phone not a walkie talkie..Mac 1013Version: 2.0
Previous version was betterI agree with the last user, for whatever reason they decided to force you to use location services in the latest version. Eppt with location services can drain a full battery in about 3 hours, even if you arent using it. If you turn off location services the app will shut down. AT&T please either give us an option to run the app with or without location or services or just remove it completely. It's to the point I don't even fire it up anymore because my battery life is bad enough as is. I would roll back to the previous version had I thought to do a backup beforehand. Needs a lot of improvement.First the volume is way, way, too low on my iPhone 5. Using this in the street is impossible since you can't hear the messages. Defeats the purpose of using it if you can't hear what's being sent. There needs to be a message repeat option added, since the volume is too low I never get the hear the initial message forcing me to ask the sender to repeat the message. Horrible battery drainAT&T come on. The app itself is great for what it's supposed to do. It constantly keeps location service active so you will drain your battery in no time. For having to pay for the service per phone I find this unacceptable. Check location once, and parse it on ptt, or at timed intervals. Unless you plane to offer mophie packs to all your customers I don't see the need. I am on iPhone 5 and there are bugs that need attention so this can be a 5 star app. Battery drain is severe when even the phone is on sleep mode. The speaker sound is too low. Needs improvingGreat start but two major issues. First it eats up battery in my iPhone 5, I end the day typically with 80-75% left, with this app on, I barely have 20% before dinner. Not CompatibleI ordered push to talk when I got my iPhone 6s and I could not install it properly. I called AT&T and they told me that PTT is not compatible with the iPhone 6s. The representative also let me know that this is per phone and not per account. So the $5.99 that I was paying per month was only for one of my two phones so I couldn't use PTT to talk with my wife unless I paid another $5.99 per month.
