ShotView™ Customer Service
Use the ShotView™ app to connect to your Xero® C2 and C1 Pro chronograph.
Connected to a C2 you can view live sessions with realtime muzzle velocity chart, resume any session and swap between live sessions. Edits in the session name and shot list will be synced between C2 and app.
Organize your platform and ammunition by creating configurable custom profiles and attach them to your sessions.
After a shooting session is completed, see your ballistic data on the app, where it is organized and easy to interpret. Analyze shot data, including speed, deviation, extreme spread, kinetic energy and more — and export the raw data to CSV format. Exclude cold bore shots and other outliers from session calculations as desired. Create custom names for each session, add notes for specific shots, and mark clean bore and cold bore attributes for each shot. Filter by weapon type to quickly access specific sessions for review.
The ShotView™ app can send and save your recorded shot and session data to the cloud. You can access and use saved data on other phones or back up your data for future use. A Garmin account is required to store your data in the cloud.

Lacking FeaturesThe app is very basic, I think there is actually more data displayed in the Xero C1 than is in the app. It’s basically just a place to store your shooting for future reference. What the call cloud sync I wouldn’t, for instance I have my Xero C1 paired with my iPad mini. When I end the session the info is then transferred to the mini & I assume at that time it syncs with the cloud. Well when the session has ended on the mini I like to rename the session to the weapon & ammo being used, plus make any notes that I deem necessary. Later I like to review the sessions on my iPad Pro, problem being it only gets the session(s) as the came from the Xero C1 not the edited version. I would call this syncing. The other chronographs that I’ve had costing much less than the Xero C1 transferred the shot data as the shot was made & even announcing the speed. With a little work on the app Garmin could take a great product & make it better. One would expect the app to be the same caliber as the unit itself, but it’s not.Version: 1.1
Fair app needs improvementsWould like to be able to see the shot data live when using the app. Also if connected to one device it syncs all the sessions but if connected to a second device it doesn’t download anyplace of the sessions already synced. Need to be able to sync with multiple devices. I use my phone at the range but would like to use a tablet later. Also needs to be able to connect to a PC to be able to download all session in mass. Emailing each individual session is a pain..Version: 1.0.2
Best Chrono… app is lackingCompetition shooters want to know power factor which the unit records however, the app does not average power factor for all shots taken. It Has to be calculated manually for all shots that are taken. Why is this so difficult as other Crono apps already do this? You have to end sessions before it is transferred to the app instead of having live transfer for each shot like other Chrono apps Add all of the above that I have listed and you’ll get a five star from me..Version: 1.0.2
Needs a few more features but it’s a good startMass export would be great but the number one thing would be starting and stopping strings/groups directly from the app. It’s a bit cumbersome to keep going back and forth between the unit and the phone. Other than that I’d echo the suggestions from the other reviews. Overall, everything functions as intended, just wish it was a bit easier to use..Version: 1.0.2
Could be so great…Solid start to a companion app for a stellar piece of kit for reloading. If the devs read this, some sort of “copy-paste” or “duplicate” functionality for sessions would be great. My use case: I want to separate out shots from a session, WITHOUT simply deleting them. If I could copy a session, then delete the unwanted shots from the copy, I could analyze the remaining shots separate from the parent session. Other app (not hardware) wish list items: - Automatically pulling temp/pressure/elevation data to add to sessions - location and firearm profiles, ways to add them to sessions - Additional fields of metadata to add to sessions, such as powder selection, and more ways to sort sessions by metadata (for example, all sessions with X bullet weight) - Graphs and charts of data Keep up the good work, you guys are awesome.Version: 1.1
It technically worksVery basic functionality and it seems pretty stable, but I wish Garmin hired someone who understands how to develop apps for the phone because this is just barely usable. I still have to keep written notes for load development because this app is so painful to use..Version: 1.1
Need to be able to export in bulk. The app is good. Very easy to work and fast sync with the unit. Only issue I have with it is having to export ever shot string individually. This is a pain if you are doing any load development or shooting multiple guns. An ability to select multiple or all shot strings in one email would be huge. Thanks Garmin for a great shooting sports product..Version: 1.0.2
Love the XeroLove my Xero but could use a little upgrades to the app. I don’t not like the ease of use of the app but would be nice to be able to edit string names from the Home Screen. Would be awesome if you could select a number of strings and have them plotted on a line graph. Again, I do love this thing!.Version: 1.0.1
SickGame changing device and app. A few requests for future updates to app and device. 1. In-app Ability to create velocity node line graphs from data collected. 2. Ability to create “gun profiles” with pertinent rifle build details and ability store shooting sessions under certain gun profiles..Version: 1.0.1
Nearly PerfectGarmin offers FIT to XLS conversion utilities for other devices. It would be nice if there were a like utility to convert Xero files (when connected to a PC as a USB device) en masse, vs having to email them one by one from the app. Since it appears the exported XLS files pick up their shot times from either the Xero or device, is there some particular reason the date couldn’t be exported as well? Similarly, it would be handy if the projectile weight was also exported. Looking forward to future updates….Version: 1.0.1
Works great, but needs some added functionalityApp seems to function 100% so far, which is great. Would love to be able to break shooting sessions down into shot strings, add a photo to each session, and plot strings on tables and graphs for analysis..Version: 1.0.2
Export needs work and moreExport file creates a random name. Should use the session name. Should be able to do a mass export. Export file should have bullet weight. Export only has time. Should include date and time. App should collect temp and barometric pressure. App should have ability to photograph the target. A PDF export with all data including the picture. See Digital Link chronograph app for inspiration. Other than that, the app does well to sync data with C1. Good first try..Version: 1.0.1
Great for analysis - would be nice to be able to stop/start session from appWorks great for data acquisition and analysis. It would be very nice to have ability to start and end session remotely from the app!.Version: 1.0.1
Great easy to use appGreat easy to use app but lacks the features to delete all sessions, or manually select and delete. Very time consuming..Version: 1.1
Deleting multiple sessions.I wish multiple sessions could be deleted at one time rather than going into each session and deleting them individually..Version: 1.1
Ok could be betterWould like to see features present in other chrono apps like recording temperature, elevation etc of shooting location.Version: 1.1
Needs workWhen I export the sessions all at once it does not show the notes. But if I export the individual sessions it does..Version: 1.1
Needs an updateNice app but it would be great if you could sort past sessions by a specific rifle/pistol..Version: 1.1
Needs workReally need a way to create sub-sessions for reloading, e.g. when moving through a ladder of powder charges.Version: 1.1
Notes don’t exportNotes do not show up on the exported excel workbook..Version: 1.1
App could be betterThe chronograph is magical compared to all that came before it but… it would nice if the app was live and you could review your data on the app while in a session rather than having to end your session and then see the data. Would also be nice to have a time stamp for each shoot recorded..Version: 1.1
Great but missing functionsApp works well enough reviewing/exporting data and updating firmware. What’s missing is the ability to start new sessions and change settings through the app..Version: 1.1
Great appIt works great. The only thing is it would be nice to be able to export multiple sessions at once that would be supported by chrono plotter. For doing load development..Version: 1.0.2
Using it with Xero C1 ProNo solid chronographs in the market until Garmin delivered this. Compact, easy to setup & use and accurate, does those 3 things better than anyone else. That’s all you need from a chronograph. Love Garmin products and I hope they continue to develop better products..Version: 1.1
