Great Fun from 1,500 miles AwayFirst time I’ve had a friend running in the Boston Marathon. Even though we’re half way across the country (in SD), we could see when he started, how he was doing, and when he finished. We enjoyed monitoring the position and pace of the one runner we knew. Almost Like Being There!I am 83 years old and have completed the B.A.A. Marathon eleven times, volunteered for it several other times, and watched it countless others. Due to multiple health issues (unrelated to my being at the event so many times - LOL), I could not view it in person this year so, I took advantage of the B.A.A. app and watched it from my home! My friends no longer run the race but, through the genius of the app, I was able to vicariously cheer on the husband of my grand niece. App ok butI was monitoring 2 runners & the app didn’t follow 1 after first 5 miles. It was more than an hour later it picked her up again. All thru race it was hung up at certain points. Then suddenly 15-20 minutes later it would update. It seemingly kept up with the other runner & he was slower running than her..Version: 8.0.6
