Wow!!!I have been an avid user of awesome Golf for the last two years I played roughly 10 hours a week on my SIM with the R 10. When the R 50 came out I thought it would make a lot of sense to allow users to use that software with the R 10. I was getting ready to build the gaming computer to run GS pro. This has certainly delayed that process because this by far is the best software I’ve ever seen for not running a gaming computer. And it’s not even close. There are areas that I hope they improve upon in the future like game types and tracking of numbers and building a bag so that more detailed practice Can take place. But honestly, the ability to go to any course on any hole and place your ball wherever you want and start hitting shots is truly amazing and seamless. The numbers seem to be far more accurate than the original Home Tee Hero. And if you know anything about that old software, just go ahead and forget it because this is an absolute game changer. Awesome with some potentialAs an R10 user, this is the update I’ve been waiting for ever since seeing HTH on the R50. The virtual courses are solid, and the enhanced courses are even better—I’m hoping more get added over time. A few features would take this to the next level. First, similar to Trackman, the ability to select clubs and review shot maps afterward would be incredibly useful, much like how the Approach club trackers display maps on real courses. A virtual caddie—similar to what’s available on Garmin watches—would also be a great addition. I’d also love to see post‑shot parameter tiles such as club path, attack angle, and other advanced metrics. And since you’re continuing to improve the platform, enhancing the camera capture settings in the Garmin Golf app would make swing analysis look much cleaner and more professional..JfadriquVersion: 1.0.1

A lot of freezing issuesPicked up a r10 yesterday and was very excited to try it out. I’m still getting used to it. I love the potential of the Home Tee app, even for previewing rounds at local courses. But the app freezes… a lot. While using the r10 it freezes. While just clicking through a course, it freezes. Once that’s resolved, this will be one stellar app for the launch monitor. Meanwhile the range on the standard Garmin Golf app works flawlessly, so far. One suggestion, I’d love to be able to review the simulated round after on the app using the same Shot Maps as the Golf app to get an idea of how the sim round might prepare me for the real thing if I play a course ahead of time as a preview. Shot Maps could be a good indicator to review what good or bad misses might produce on the course. Also, would LOVE to sync my CT10 sensors with the app so it knows what club I’m playing. Seems that would be a benefit to the hardware/software developers to know the club vs. attack angle, dynamic loft, launch angle, etc. in relation to the club selections..CoachJoe82Version: 1.0.5

Great but…Love love love the app update. Think it’s great. Fantastic home simulator experience. But… No ability to set a scramble and choose teams… No ability to fix drop location on a penalty ball. So a lot of the time if you hit in water then the ball is dropped on edge angled down into the water. Overly frustrating we have no ability to pick ball up and drop properly. Enhanced courses aren’t what I thought they’d be from garmin. No beautiful flowers at Augusta…. The hole beauty of the place. No clubhouse either. Should also be an ability to turn crowds on or off this would truly enhance courses and that feeling you are there for real. It’s Garmin. They have the ability to put homes and things on every course or the clubhouses that make the course look true to life they just don’t. But it’s still 5 stars… why? Price, accuracy of reads are okay, and ultimately it’s an okay and functional decently graphic home simulator. Never expected GS Pro like graphics from it. Significantly improvedAppreciate how much more real and less cartoonish this feels than the previous version. Next update we need to be able to drop back on the line in water hazards. Try TPC at Sawgrass and you will see what I mean. Drops to close to the water where you are stuck with hitting it in the water over and over or hit high lofted wedge to get out. A massive improvement but some bugs to fixI use my Garmin R10 at an indoor golf range. The graphics and customization has seen a massive upgrade compared to the previous home tee hero on the garmin golf app. I am encountering some freezing during shots and problems with it not reading chipping. I am having to reset the app countless times. The no chipping button doesn’t work as well. It happens more when you play with more than one player. Solid - Near perfect with small enhancementsOne easy thing I’d like to see is the ability to see course / hole by hole yardages, before starting a round (based on the different tees). Having the ability to see course yardage before starting a round would allow us to select appropriate tees without guessing. As others have mentioned - short < 20y chip shots have trouble reading. Amazing update for R10 UsersThe graphics updates and amount of local courses finally lets me use home tee hero instead of a 3rd party app. However there’s still some issues: 1. Drop placement for balls in a water hazard is way too close to the edge of the water often on a step downslope which makes it impossible to avoid the water unless you play backwards. 2. Some ball physics issues when taking a bounce of a tree or side of a bunker. 3. Allow placement in tee boxes 4. Rotating pin placements would be nice. But the number one thing I would like to see is an actual driving range and some more practice options there. The Garmin golf app has that option but is basically unusable with how bad the interface is especially on an iPad. Would really like to see just a basic range with improved graphics and view options..AasattVersion: 1.0.4

Chipping sensitivity is a real problem.Love the updated graphics but the chipping sensitivity is a huge problem. Prior to the HTH update I primarily played with E6 Connect and it was great at picking up even the shortest of chips. Played 36 holes this weekend with the new HTH and chipping was a struggle to say the least. In some cases it would take 5-6 attempts to get something to register. Found that in most cases you had to flop something up high on the screen but even that didn’t work all the time. Whatever E6 Connect is doing needs to be copied to the HTH app..BjunksVersion: 1.0.1

Great improvement over old app but no driving rangeThis update is great. The graphics are greatly improved. I think the shot accuracy is better. The big negative for me is they took away the driving range and screen to see all your stats on one screen when practicing. They added the ability to practice on any course from any spot. Awesome Upgrade!I bought my Garmin R10 launch monitor a few weeks ago and the Home Tee Hero that came with it was decent but other programs offered far better graphics and more features. App UpdateThe update was far better than I originally anticipated it would be. Graphics, accuracy, and other upgraded options are great. I saw that a few others have had the problem where the R10 connects, but then randomly will disconnect and have issues reconnecting. Fixing this glitch would be much appreciated!! OldCragarGARMIN New R10 Software: Love the new updated R50 views. Was having trouble with short small swing chip shots registering as a hit. After eliminating ( netting weights) or my covering of metal (desk) with foam, the last two things I tried did the trick…Putting a faraday cage (steel mesh hanging box) on my projector and shutting off the ceiling heater in my shop ( This one also increased the distance accuracy of my shots). New update fixed chipping!New updated review now that Garmin's latest update fixes the chipping issues. This is a 5/5 app! Courses are beautiful and practice on the course is amazing to be able to really dial in irons or tee shots from your favorite holes on a course! Can't wait for more updates! Yes!!!!Amazing update. The login experience was fantastic (it remembered my other account and data!). The new visuals are fantastic! Thank you!! Love being able to run my simulator from my phone. Awesome appThis app is very good. If you have garmin products for golfing it’s a no brainer. One thing I would LOVE is if you could play like a best ball game. Great update, terrible short gameThis update is fantastic, it would be a five star review if I didn’t have to chip the ball four times before it picks up the hit. The old app picks up 9/10 chip shots but this one hasn’t picked up anything 25 yards and in. Awesome golf doesn’t seem to have an issue either so I assume it’s the new app. Graphics are fantastic and I’m happy with the rest of it. Fun but accuracy is questionableSeems accurate on shorter irons but drives seem a bit all over the place. Using the Titleist RCT balls and still not impressed after 6 wks. Going to take it to a trackman sim next to see how it does but having done those before think I know what the outcome will be. Huge improvementIf graphics update was any better, it would need to run on pc instead of tablet. Please change to unlimited altitude adjustment. Distances are close, but a little low. Fantastic update!This update is phenomenal. Graphics are awesome and everything is just all-around better! Couple of small digressions…chip shots are often not read by my R-10 while using this update, before, this occurred rarely, now it’s frequent. Really Great App. Have an Idea though…It is really fun now with way better graphics. Would like to see club tracking for metrics. Chip shot issueThe graphics are fantastic. Only issue is that chipping seems to be bugged as I have to hit multiple times when it’s a short chip in order for it to pick it up. Game ChangerPicked up the Garmin for Christmas without knowing this little gem of an app was going to launch. Such a game changer with the Home Tee Hero app. The courses are beautiful and the membership fee is hard to beat. Chip shots need workLove the graphics as they are fairly close. Chip shots from 30 yards in are very frustrating. Hit 9 shots from 18 yards before I could get the shot to be recognized. These were lofted shots that would always be recognized when using Garmin Golf app..Vinny84595Version: 1.0.1

2026 updateWith the new update on the R10 you get access to this with the monthly fee of about 13 bucks. So far, it’s very worth it and the courses are really nice and well made. Graphics on a 1080p projector run off an iPad are more than I need. R10 now also gives attack angle and easier to read metrics. Only draw back is make sure you set your own weather. While current conditions sounds cool, you don’t want your drive going 40 yards less because of sub zero temps. The ball tracking after it’s hit also seems a little off visually.
