Nice OB wheel appThis app is quite useful. I like that you can save clients’ information and that the developer implemented a suggestion about highlighting today’s date. One problem I face is that you are not able to adjust cycle length. Most of the women I care for do not have 28day cycles. This can drastically change EDD. ACOGI LOVE this app. However, I do believe that the dating for the trimesters is off. I’m only ever interested in the end of the first trimester and ACOG states that the first trimester ends at 13weeks 6days. This app does not calculate accordingly. Another outstanding application from EvanPerfect OB Wheel is a great app. It does everything you need and does it well. I go to it all the time on my rotation. It beats the paper wheels hands down. I won't list all the features because Evan does it well in the description, but it works great and as promised! I found out about Evan's work through MediMath. Great app. Extremely responsive developer. If you need anything or have a suggestion, just shoot him an email. Chances are you'll hear back soon and your request/suggestion will be included in the next update. Can't say enough about his work. This is a useful applicationI am an MFM at a busy metropolitan hospital, and have 4 due date calculators on my iPhone. However, as the developer has continued to improve this application over time, I find myself only using this one. The interface is very easy to navigate, and the ability to save specific patient data and the recent addition of open text notes make make patient tracking superior to other applications. In addition, I had a very positive experience with customer support, with a solution by the same day. I can't even get that kind of service with phone/internet company, and I pay them hundreds of dollars each year. Was great until the updateThis app worked great until the update. Now it clicks ahead automatically if you're trying to do the "X Weeks" function. As you are putting in the day, month, etc., it jumps to the next field which would be ok unless you are putting in a two digit number where there was a one digit number. Then it clicks ahead and if you aren't watching close the wrong number will be in there. I would be quite happy tapping into the next field. Once you get to the year it clicks on it's own and jumps to the next screen. Very annoying! I can't see any other difference in this and the previous version except this change which makes it harder to use and gives me erroneous information. Version 10- Just about perfect!Finally-- a wheel app that lets me use and find almost all of the information I want: LMP, EDD, conception, US dating, and dates when a specific gestational age occurs. This is the only wheel app I 've found that makes it easy to tell her when to have certain tests done, etc. Now all that's missing is the ability to calculate GA on a specific date, which is useful when a woman asks about traveling. Modification for Medical CodingI do medical billing and coding. I love the interface on this app. It's straight forward and easy to use. I wish there was one more feature that would make it perfect for medical coding. I'd like to be able to input the LMP and the Date of Service and get the number of weeks and days gestation at the time services were rendered. Need one more thingThis is great app. For figuring out forts trimester screening dates would love to be able to tooe in 10w0d and see what date that is and type in 13w6d and see what date that is. Right now using the screen that tells the dates range for each week in order to get this feature, so it will do all I need. Love this app!My friend who is a doctor suggested I use this when we were trying to conceive as this was what she and her husband had used. Rip off to force you to pay moreThey make a sound as if the $1.99 you pay is going to open up the advanced options only to find out that once you pay the money and use the app that you will need to pay an additional 4.99 for the full features described. The basic features that you get for the $1.99 are free from many websites and several other free apps that actually include the ability to save your due date etc. don’t waste your money if you want the simple information provided in the $1.99 app get it free from the American College of obstetrics and gynecology app or many others. Shame on you. I just added an edit here because I found out that the American College of obstetrics and gynecology disagrees with the dating criteria utilized here and the trimester dating is off.
