When is your Ap going to be updated to play with the newest version of the Iphone?

After a few minutes of browsing the app, the search bar disappears and does not return unless I turn the phone off and on. Once I restart the app, the search bar is available again but only for a few minutes and then disappears again. The app is only as good as its search tool. I must have had a glitch in my phone because the following day the app worked like a charm!

I use this app all the time in both clinicals and lecture. Even when I'm studying I'll come across an acronym i don't know and i look it up. This app is a bargain for how often I use it!!!

A comprehensive list of abbreviations likely to be found in medical charting. Link to Wikipedia helpful for more information when available. All the listings are lower case which creates errors for some abbreviations that have mixed upper and lower cases (such as Iron as Fe), plus it should indicate which ones must be in lower case (e.g. gram as g). Indication of approved JACHO abbreviations would also be useful. This should be a required app for students. Well worth the price.

Great app for price. Search for an abbreviation and get meaning and other possible meanings too. Backs abbreviations online too, so you know it's not made up. Still missing a few abbreviations but well worth it. Buy this app before medical abbreviations by QD Ideas, LLC. This one is much better!

I love this app. I have a book on all of this but I love this app because I am a medical transcriptionist and I can look at this app much faster than my book. A great app if you are in tye medical field.

Needs an easier way to narrow one's search. The alphabetizing still results in long search times. The information is invaluable.

I just started using it and so far it's way better than other med abbv/ med terminology apps. I love that you can add your own abbv and it links with Wikipedia well.

Handy & useful app. Should be updated now and again. I am an NP and use this app frequently .... Even the docs I work with come to me if they get a report with an unfamiliar abbreviation.

Been using this from time to time. Better than using books, specially if your in a hurry trying to figure out doctors 's orders.

Haven't used it as much as I thought I would but but helpful when I need it.

Some review rates it -ve, said there were only about 50 approved med abbreviations. Those ones we know, this lovely app helps us with the ones we dont know. !

I thought this would be useful when transcribing, but so far abbreviations I needed are not found in this app and I have to go to Google instead. I was hoping that would eliminate that for me, but this is not the case. I tried one more time and found the abbreviation I needed, but it was incorrect. So instead I'm just going to use Google instead of using your app as a portal.

It needs a reverse reference, a seemingly basic feature. These things go both directions, after all.

I upgraded to the iPhone 7 and the app presented with a warning about how it will slow down my phone. The developer should feel ashamed for taking money or an app with a known deficit.

With all questions answered, this app never did return results in identifying meds. Very POOR.

The idea is good and the database is good but for some one who actually works in the medical field you would know wikipedia isn't a valid source for information. Though many of these may be correct, you can't be sure unless you check them in an actual verified abbreviation book. And to the person below, don't rate/ review your own app especially if you are going to argue with your purchasers. It's un trust worthy.

I am a nursing student and love many things about this app, BUT if I could get one thing changed I would want to be able to export bookmarked abbreviations to view like flash cards. Or at least have a NEXT to go to next bookmarked abbreviation As it is now, each bookmarked abbrev must be viewed then closed before another one can open.

This was a good app until the recent update took away the search box after you view your first search result. After that I can't search for anything and there's no easy way to scroll through all of it. Please fix this and I'll give a better rating!

It is an ok app for what I need to do. I am in MA school right now and it does help to have this app for quick reference. I just think it could have been combined with suffixes, prefixes and combining form words. That would have made it the perfect app.

I use this this program quite often because I'm a medical writer. I find very good for the most part but lacking in Alternative Medicine subjects like Chiropractic, Acupuncture and others.5

I thought it would be better than it is but it serves alright as a reference but still doesn't have hardly any real abbreviations... I've stumped it 6 times in the last 20 minutes while studying for a pharmacotherapeutics test

Although the program has a lot of abbreviations, it is missing a key feature for anyone who will use it on a day-to-day basis. The author needs to implement the functionality to enter your own custom abbreviations. Until then only 2 stars.

Lots of abbreviations.... But many of them very obvious.... Or very obscure. Not ver useful for thru day-to-day use or charting.
