I like that it is easy to request ID cards. The initial 2 that are mailed out are not enough for a family of 4 with older children. We each need an ID card. Thanks for making it easy to request additional ID cards to be mailed.

I can’t say enough about the customer service. Every time I have questions about anything they always help me with it and help me understand it better. Great insurance too. Thank you.

I was able to get them on here. Save them to my phone. I have health insurance cards now! Didn’t even have to re registered from old myuhc app. Good news!

Most healthcare apps already provides a card for your Apple Wallet, however UMR does not. UMR needs to get with the times and do so as well. Besides that, the app is straight forward and easy to use

9 times out of 10 when I try to go to the wellness benefits area, it doesn’t open. it kind of opens up a website instead of just being able to stay on the app and read my wellness benefits and what not. It doesn’t actually let me choose the option to open it in a different web browser; it’s just like it opens up a webpage sort of connected to umr but not actually really in the app, and then I just get a blank white screen. It looks like it’s loading for a bit with the spinning wheel, just a blank white screen. So if you want to actually work on using your wellness benefits and gaining points and everything, you have to go to the actual website because the app doesn’t bring you there and doesn’t do anything; it is not helpful.

I have not yet been able to find a provider through the app (or mobile web page). I was able to chat with a representative on Monday who was able to help me determine if a provider I was looking at was in-network. Unfortunately, they were not able to see my young daughter. So I went back into the app to try to find a provider again, but I keep having the same issue. I figured I would give the chat a try again but I must have tried during peak times and I was in a queue. This wouldn’t bother me except for the fact that I went from being 4th in line, the 3rd, then 2nd, then 2nd again… and again… and again. I never advanced beyond that so I gave up. All I want is to view my providers!

Overall this app is poorly designed. Input fields should be defaulted to number fields (where appropriate) to minimize keystrokes for the user. Better yet, consider using sliders to calculate number of cups or number of miles, etc. additionally, there is no flexibility in tracking for challenges. If the challenge starts January 1, but you don’t come across the challenge until late February, you are obligated go back and enter data for the weeks that you missed. Can you imagine starting in June ?! You should be able to select the week you want and begin tracking.

When you log in to this app (a process that fails about 1/3 of the time) it just loads information from the website in the shape of an iPhone screen. It is slow, and clunky. Finding a healthcare provider still requires the app to load several external websites rather than just query the servers and load the information into the app. I would give it 1 star but you can wrestle with the sloppy UI and find the info you need. It just requires many more steps than it would take if the app was well made.

I've been able to get all the way through logging in and verifying my id only to be automatically logged out. I've called about this issue multiple times to be told "try a desktop" (this is an app by the way) When I'm click the number posted on the page for technical help you get you get UMR who after multiple redirects finally gives you the right number while you can listen to the on hold message telling you that you wouldn't need to sit on hold if you used the online services (that I am still trying to access) This has been going on for months. I'm not trying to play games, I'm trying to get access to information to make better health decisions. At least post the right help number!! Ps do not even try to tell me to log out and log back in. I'm a health IT professional, I can assure you this is not user error.

This app is not user friendly. It would not allow me to select my birth month from the dropdown (I tried four times). It wouldn’t accept my registration because it didn’t parse the inadvertent entry of a long dash (what my phone entered doing voice to text). When I finally got registered, it made me repeatedly enter my preferred email address. After all that, it would not allow me to view providers for my plan. Save yourself from a headache by going directly to their website.

After reporting a broken link to find a new provider, I tried to chat with someone to get a list of providers but was told I was 137th in line. After finally reaching someone on the phone, they told me they’d email me the list of providers in the next 24 hours. It’s now been FIVE DAYS and I still haven’t received the email. (No, it is not in my spam folder.) I checked and the link to the providers list is still broken. This is NOT a good introduction to this company.

When I log in, on the update contact info page it gives me an error message screen and then asks me to Submit to move on. What am I submitting? On the next page, it says the app has been “reimagined”, and no other options to press. The drop down menu strictly has account settings and communication preferences along with some legal stuff, but no options to actually access your accounts or do anything useful. Waste of time.

I was a little skeptical when the app only had a placeholder icon after installing. I signed in, clicked claims and… blank screen. Restarted app and got the same thing. So the app is useless as it stands. I hope they get it working better because the UMR website is not user friendly so my fingers are crossed that this app might be a better option once they get it working.

Website has basic end of road/pathways , and end of researching even to calm these clowns, you become connected to ironically a mental health or substance control liberal which was not even close to any attempted contractural medicine/treatment/physicians choices attempted and nothing offered. Not a great choice - then again most of these are as bad as attorneys as your consistently misdirected on every attempt to find or contact the specific field of intention. Useless…

The screen is locked in tiny handheld phone screen size. Opening it on the iPad shows only a screen optimized for a phone and does not resize. The resize buttons don’t work. It isn’t even showing an actual icon for the app. Just the default icon when you are installing a new app. The lack of attention to detail makes me wonder how they are dealing with sensitive data if this is how the front end looks.

Absolutely terrible. None of the information I have found has been accurate. Nothing on my card indicates that my plan is EPO Benchmark and so my providers have thought they were in Choice Plus Network only to have my claims returned. None of the phone numbers listed for in network providers have been working numbers. I would give -10 stars if that were an option.

It’s unfortunate that you can only view submitted benefits not what qualifies as benefits. I was looking, for example my chiropractor benefits but it was not available on-line. Only through a representative. Also under deductibles: what qualifies as a specialist visit? Chiropractic? Would be good to see some examples listed.

So far, if I could give negative stars, I would. When I launch the app, I get a “Something Wrong” splash screen- even before asking for credentials. Uninstalled and reinstalled several times. Finally got hold of technical support and have never encountered support people so rude in a long long time. I won’t go into the details. I guess I will give up on using the app. Still not working.

I only came in for one thing, to see my providers for my medical benefits. Not only am I unable to see any options except one (United healthcare which you are connected to) but it says in a small disclaimer that you don’t show all the providers available to your users. The whole point is to see my benefits and who I can go to and I can’t even do half of that through this app! It’s misleading!

This app is so hard to login to and even use when you finally get into it. Whoever designed it should be fired along with whoever designed their mobile app. They are making it almost impossible to access my FSA funds which is quite illegal. Update to the correct century please so I can stop calling support every time I need to do a single thing with this barely functioning company.

This app makes it convenient to access my UMR information What I don’t understand is, while looking at in net work and out of network expenses, the dollar amounts are identical. It appears that I spent the exact same amount using both in network providers and out of network providers. If someone could explain this to me, I will raise the stars amount.

The most confusing, unhelpful medical insurance website I have ever used. I am a college educated, executive level, 50+ year old male. This website is complete garbage. Most cost estimators don’t work, everything refers back to a pdf document that is deliberately confusing. United Health should be ashamed for even offering this UMR website. Will be complaining to our employer about this.

Cannot ever view, access, or do absolutely anything with my dependents that are covered under my policy. I have two children that have always been covered under my policy since I have had insurance coverage and there is always problems, can never do anything or access any information that is needed regarding my dependents.

On your App, I always run into issues. I enter the right combination of credentials but until I reset the password, I am not able to log in. A few days later, the new password stops working and I have to create a new one. I have a good system with password and UMR App is the only one gives me hard-time Vs all other apps that I use.

I thought it would be so handy to pull up my id cards on this app rather than carrying another plastic card in my wallet, but twice now the app failed to load the home screen when I needed it.

Can this even be called an app? Look at all the reviews! It is not 4.2 stars! It literally never works for anyone! Why even market you have an app if it isn't going to work, just don't have the app! Supposedly the developer replies to all these comments yet for 6months+ no one can get it to function! Worthless!

App startup is buggy and slow. Only opens 1 out of three times. Required password change after not logging in for two weeks???

The UI is whack. Searching for providers puts you in a never ending login loop, wasn’t even able to pull my healthcare information for the first 6 months. Super lazy programming/ app development. Don’t try to use it if you have a heart condition. You may be taking a trip to the ER.

This app is absolutely terrible. All it seems to be good for is getting your id cards. I cannot search for in network providers at all which is important since I’m on an extended plan. It directs to click the view providers but nothing happens. Not having much luck with the website either.

Not unlike the website which takes extremely long amounts of time to load, I can’t get this app to run for more than 10-15 seconds without it crashing. I’m assuming it’s a bug, very old coding language, or very inefficient coding. I don’t have this issue with any other apps.

The app isn’t sending me an email to verify my email like it says it is, the claim submission option doesn’t get received by united healthcare (which is a known issue according to the rep on the phone) and the contact us phone number is incorrect and sends me to 1800mypillow. What a terribly run app for a billion dollar insurance company.

After logging in, I only get an error message. No means of chat or other communication zero stars. From my experience, the website is not active at all times. Disappointed. It leaves room for improvement.

Turns out UMR does not, in fact, make health benefits easy. This app is awful. It is down more than it works. Even when it works it doesn’t provide helpful information or an easy experience. Why does my review keep getting removed?? Now wonder they have a high rating!

This app has never shown my plan benefits and I always receive Error 500 when I try to search for providers in my network. Save yourself the hassle and headache. Just call the numbers on the back of your insurance card if you need information.

The app has good GUI but what’s the purpose of an app if it will continuously make me open a browser. Also I keep trying to sign out and it doesn’t let me sign out

Just downloaded the app and the very first thing I noticed is that I cannot save my ID card to Wallet? Why not? That is just ridiculous. More to come, possibly, as I use the app.

UMR customer service is the crappiest ever! Their app does not do any of the things promised, such as allowing access to actual benefit information or details of any sort. Everything you need is "unavailable" at the time you need to access it or you are redirected to meaningless pages.

Trying to view my FSA account has been a struggle because this app constantly crashes all the time. They need to improve this and make it much easier to view your FSA account without creating a separate account within the app.

This app is the worst app I’ve ever seen. It’s hard to believe that a company like United Healthcare would have such a frustrating useless app. It make me feel like it’s done on purpose in order to make it impossible for it’s PAYING customers to not use their services.

Horrible app. That built web search is all over the place and just doesn’t work. Will not recommend UPD: No availability when we need it. Both app and website does not allow to log in with valid credentials on Monday 11 AM.

Not sure why this app exists if it only takes you to a web page. Other apps I’ve used for similar products are much more useful.
