Works more reliably than Zello. Unlike Zello it doesn’t use up the battery while running in the background. Desperately needs a dark mode interface option. The bright white screen at night is irritating.

Verizon you are a Multi Billion Dollar company why can’t you assign an Engineer with a Brain to this app that can actually make it worth using it? How difficult is it to add a dedicated button on the iPhone under programming?

I love this app. The only thing is I wish when someone ptt. It would pull up the ptt screen. Instead of just making the sound. This way you wouldn’t have to go to the app an click on it. Sincerely IPhone 11 Pro user.

This is a pretty good walkie talkie app now that you are able to use it on 3G as well as 4G instead of just 4G. At the company that I manage all of the employees have this service and it really works great! Only reason 4 stars not 5 is because of it being a little buggy sometimes but 90% of the time it works awesome!

The functionality works well (with my iPhone 6s+), with occasional hiccups where the connection cannot decide whether I'm online or offline. I really wish they would remap the volume down button (or similar) as a PTT button. It's difficult to comfortably depress the button on the screen with the size of my phone.

I have the app on a 6s plus and it is great. Easy to use and set up groups. The only bad thing is the low volume. You can turn it all the way and still have to put it next to your ear. Please fix it!!!

This very clean and intuitive app has finally made it to the iPhone. Now I can talk to all my other PTT+ users.

Please update this app to be optimized with iOS 10 as well as to be formatted for the plus model iPhones.

I have an iPhone 11 Pro Max and was looking in settings (both in app and in iPhone settings) to assign the Siri button as the physical push to talk button (while using the app). I can’t seem to find anything and even texted into Verizon customer care and spoke with an agent that could not find an answer, but was very eager to get my idea to the people that can implement it. I also decided to leave this review to double ensure that the proper people see this idea and are hopefully able to implement it sooner than later. That said, I know apple can be annoying for developers to work with, so hopefully it is a possibility to get it implemented.

We have all Kyocera PTT+ phones in my company. My son downloaded the app for his iPhone so he could be in contact. App works great, no noticeable difference between app and our phones except app must be open in the background at all times for someone to contact you. App should automatically run in background at all times like iMessage so even when closed you can receive alerts, maybe add a "do not disturb" option. Otherwise, great app!

Ok, The greatest thing use to be Nextel! Now that Verizon has PTT+ I couldn’t wait to incorporate it into our account for EMS. Now that we have it I’m 50 - 50. The app itself works great and I have no complaints there. However, here are my issues; the app should be an integrated app into the phone so you can change things through settings like button configuration so you can use a side button for PTT. Also, you should be able to change the background color to black because trying to communicate on the way to an emergency you are blinded by the white screen. If these things can be changed I will give it 5 stars, 2 thumbs up and 100% recommendation! Thanks

This is app is mainline of communication for first responders. But the bright white screen needs to go and need to be updated to the black background like all apps. Horrible for use at night.

I would give it a zero but I can’t. 90% of the push to talk calls do not go through and 90% of the time you can’t respond. I’ll get a notification someone is calling and no voice comes through and it’ll say they’re talking for several minutes. Used at work for service calls where time is critical and it does not work.

I like the app, but as I use it at night, mostly being that the screen is bright white it hinders my night vision in the shipping yard while trying to talk to the drivers in the yard

It would be much nicer if there was an Apple Watch App that you could use similar to Apple’s Walkie Talkie App. I’d give it 5 stars if it had a Watxh App

When using a Apple IPhone, the PTT application will not let you set external PTT headset on Bluetooth so regular phone calls and texts sounds do not come through system. They definitely need to update application along with apple developers.

I downloaded this app because it looked interesting and I didn’t see the “in app purchase” indicator. I’m glad I decided to read the information! Knowing Verizon, I’m sure it will cost a lot!!! Deleted it immediately.

Another way Verizon Wireless can get more of your money....worthless app.....and if you notice all the high ratings have there name written up in the same format.....they are Verizon Wireless employees told for an extra in pay check to give good rating.

PTT now uses the speaker made for your ear, this causes major issues and you can’t really hear what you need to. Can we get and update to get this fixed to the bottom speakers on an iPhone?????

Works ok at times but is very undependable , I’ve used this system for a few years and it isn’t worth the five dollars a month on each phone.

I downloaded this on an iPhone 6s Plus. The app itself is great but the volume on the phone is terrible! If there is any background noise, it is very hard to hear. Maybe there will be an update in the near future to fix this.

With the new update cannot hear the PTT alert and I miss every call. There’s always a problem with this app.

First off, you (and the person you are trying to walkie walkie) must stayed connected to 4G LTE 100% of the time. If you lose your 4LTE signal for even 1 second, then the app LOSES IT'S CONNECTION and not only can you not use it and nobody can reach you now-- but you must go back to a 4LTE area, re-open the app, and wait for it to "reconnect". I had it for 1 week and had more "user is out of range" more times than it actually works!! It's because Verizon network often drops down to 3G way too often (or even down to 1x if your rural or in a building). The ONLY way for Verizon to fix this APP/push to talk: Instead of the push to talk disconnecting and not working anymore if you lose a LTE signal, it instead should allow you to still talk on their 3G and 1x network. WHY NOT!?! Right now people with older phones can use "1x legacy" and can push to talk to us users on 4GLTE/Enhanced push to talk. So Verizon can easily just allow us to keep using our walkie talkie if we have 3G or 1x, instead of just becoming a useless brick and not working if you lose 4G LTE.

If Verizon is going to charge 5 bucks a month for this they need to improve the connection , sometimes it says the person is not on ptt even if they are , then you try again and it goes through , it also need to notify you if someone calls you , which now it don't , you can't alert anyone either but the have an alert button. I really hope the fix the bug because this is a great feature to have

Have been using this app for since it was first release. Overall it works. Regular disconnects but as long as you're using it on a regular basis not bad. Current big problem is that it doesn't work on 6s. Unable to make outgoing calls using speaker phone. Switch off speaker and outgoing calls work. Incoming calls are unintelligible. App is basically unusable on 6s currently.

I thought this would be $5/month on the account. No, it's $5/month per line! For family communication it's best to just use regular phone calls. Why such a high charge to use wireless communication in a different way? I guess it's worth it if you use it all the time but for occasional use like shopping or vacations I don't think that's a fair price.

I love the app but the flaws they have are audio is very low from the speakers even when the volume is set to high the app has to run in the background for it to work it cost five dollars a month when you can use zello for free and audio is a lot louder. Hope they fix this flaw and add some more features or tune it up.

Every time I try to use this app, I keep getting an PTT ERROR.. Please fix.... After a week they came out with this update: works great now for my iPhone 6s +.. So I'll change my stars..

Completely broken on ios9/iPhone 6s. I agree with everyone else – it's a terrible app to begin with... Seems to kill the battery because it's always running and connecting/disconnecting and alerting when nothing is happening. $5/month x 50 lines for a broken service is unacceptable. PLEASE FIX IT or make it an included service. Definitely not with a penny as is.

Loses the server constantly. EXTREMELY frustrating. Can't alert people. It tells you they're not a PTT subscriber when clearly, they are. When it does work, it's great but 2 out of 5 stars for me

Really cool in theory but will not work on cell service with a vpn.. terrible! Also in this day and age, Verizon's ppt should work with att ptt and others. $5 a month per device with those flaws?.. no thanks!

There is settings in the app for alert but you can't alert anyone. Most people with a PTT are not going to hear you if you are trying to reach them.

While there are always issues with it losing the server now I upgraded and all I get is static through the speaker on the new 6s so it doesn't work at all.

The current version simply reloads the screen continually after successfully logging in. Unusable currently.

No amount of comments or suggestions will fix this app. Hire a real company to do your work Verizon.
